What a find...this cozy, family friendly coffee shop is more than your regular java place. I didn't realize right away that the owner is a friend. I ordered their super tasty pizza. Yummmmmy in my tummy...that ricotta cheese on the pizza made a huge difference. I also tried their coffe: it didn't disappoint. They have their own shirts hanging on a stand for sale. If you're not familiar with the area, finding a parking spot near the shop can be challenging, but it's worth it. Stepping into this very eclectic, retro-vibe coffee shop was comforting with its completely casual, mismatched, unpretentious way. We had an espresso & an iced chai with almond milk, both quite good, along with a big cinnamon roll. Service at the counter was good. Would definitely go back if in the area. Visiting from Tucson and was looking for a local place to try some coffee before making my way back. Found Luana's and when I walked in the atmosphere was just so warm and eclectic, from the decorations, plants and even the chairs. I ordered the Luana's signature latte which was delicious. I'm a huge fan of coconut milk and it had a bit of dark chocolate and vanilla. I also ordered the BYO breakfast sandwich with sourdough egg, bacon and gouda. I opted for no tomatoes/onions but kept the garlic aioli which brought it all together. Wish there was just a bit more bacon in the sandwich. The gentleman working the counter was nice and collected despite being busy, you can tell he has this handled. Overall recommend this place to grab a coffee but definitely stay and enjoy the atmosphere, bring a book or just listen to the music. read more

Space is really cool and nostalgic. Service was good. It was busy with students visiting and doing homework. We had coffee and it was ok.

Cute retroish space, service was excellent! I did not have any food during my visit but my daughter had a coffee cake she brought with her on a recent road trip that was outstanding! The coffee was just ok for my taste, so much so that I do not remember what I ordered, it was iced is all I recall. I found out about Luana's through social media and ever since I was fascinated at the idea of a traveling coffee shop. I was hoping that one day I wouldn't be working and would have free time to go try it out. Well luckily one day out of the blue (pun intended) I went to a festival and right in front there was that light blue cart! I was so excited my boyfriend thought I was weird until he realized that the coffee place I've been wanting to try was there! (I'm a drink enthusiast, especially when it comes to coffee and boba! But that's another story!) So, unfortunately, they had a set menu for this event but I wasn't picky because I hadn't had my daily joe just yet. I ordered an iced caramel latte and I finished it so quickly. It was sweet smooth and gave me the right amount of energy for this festival! First initial thought is WOW! I'm all about supporting local businesses and this is one to support guys! Super friendly customer service and good drinks! This moving coffee truck was parked outside my apartment complex for the morning offering free coffee so they had a limited menu. I got the mocha iced latte and I feel it rivals Dutch bro's.. and it's not as disgustingly sweet and theirs and doesn't give me an immediate stomach ache. I will definitely revisit and see what other drinks they have because they seem to have an incredible and funny menu! read more

I've driven past this place a few times and finally got to stop today! I loved it!!! I had the guy make me whatever he thought and he made me the salt bae and it was delicious! It wasn't too sweet and you could still taste the coffee. I ordered an iced tea also which he brewed from loose leaf tea right there. It was also really good and obviously as fresh as it can get! Luana's is a fantastic, cute little coffee truck. Aaron is a very talented barista that will do his best, to make you that prefect cup of coffee. Try something on his menu or tell him what you like and he will make up something delicious. Went in this morning after months of following Luana's on Instagram. I messaged them to see if they were open as Yelp has them listed as closed ok Saturday's- the owner promptly responded that they were in fact open. I was very satisfied with my order. I was a little worried at first as I am usually a fan of coffee drinks that are more on the bitter side, but the owner assured me that the sweetness was toned down from usual coffee shops. I ordered the vanilla chai drink, dirty. I was happy that the drink was in fact it wasn't too sweet and all the ingredients seem of good quality and fresh. Although, next time I would order it half sweet, with an extra shot of espresso. I will definit be back! read more

Luanas coffee is the best of the best! This fun cart has a menu with a variety of drink options and more and more are created weekly. There is always something new and different to try. The coffee is to die for! With no worries of the coffee being too strong or the creamer being too much, the baristas know exactly what they are doing to make the taste just right. My favorites are the Ex, the Nana and the Ariel. As for Luanas fresh lemonade, the raspberry is my favorite. So different and refreshing. I also had a tea from here that I can't get enough of. The coffee cart/truck is at my place of work so I thought I'd try it. Ordered an americano with 2 shots of espresso. Started drinking it and thought it was coffee and water. Did not taste at all like espresso. Went back and ordered a second time because I thought there may have been a mistake. Turns out, their espresso is no good and super watery. I don't know if the grounds aren't fine enough or they're not packing it enough. Either way, I'm never going back. read more
