Cookie macchiato, ube taro
Nicole C.

First time trying this place. Ordered the cookie macchiato and ube taro. The espresso tasted good and the drink had a good espresso-to-milk ratio and was not watered down like a lot of other places. Was surprised to see the ube taro on the menu! The flavor of it was good, just a little on the sweet side for me. I will say the prices were a tiny bit steep but not bad, was $6 for a smaller drink and $7 for a large. The place is small with cute decor, located right in Melrose and I think this is their 2nd location. They seem to share an outdoor seating area with the other businesses in the plaza. Barista was a super cool dude who seems to know a lot of the customers coming in.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Phoenix. I think both of their locations are great, but I prefer going to this one because it's located in a really cute courtyard, and it tends to be less busy. I spent many hours here while in grad school. The owners and staff are super friendly and they just provide an inviting warmth that makes everyone feel welcomed. The coffee tastes great. My regular drink is an iced coffee (kinda basic) but I have tried their lattes, like ube and pistachio. Super delicious. I always like getting their in house pop tarts too. I'd recommend checking this place out.

Hours - A sign posted on a window indicates the hours of Windown Coffee Bar, which operates from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, and is closed on Monday and Tuesday. The sign also mentions a second location one mile away at 903 W Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85013. The sign is attached with clear tape and is set against a dark wall, with reflections visible on the glass.

The bar is set high when a Top 25 Coffee Shop yelpie award hangs inside. First time at this location. First impression- this new plaza at Melrose is damn cool. Loved the integrated indoor/outdoor community concept. Brought my dog Andy who loved the space as well. I ordered a drip. It was noticeably warm/not hot - I like I like it hot. Asked for a splash and got what was more cascade-like, as a result the coffee was super milky. So truthfully, couldn't get a real taste of window coffee bar its core. All staff were very pleasant overall. Food looked tasty, but did not try. Good coffee shops in PHX are ubiquitous, great ones are more rare. Not exactly sure where WCB is on the PHX coffee spectrum as my honest review is inconclusive.

Americano and latte - Two iced coffee drinks in clear plastic cups with the Window Coffee Bar logo are positioned in front of a menu board. The menu lists various coffee beverages, teas, toasts, and food items, with prices. The drinks include signature lattes, espresso, and non-espresso options. The menu also features flavors, milk options, and food choices like turkey sandwiches and bagels. The setting appears to be inside the coffee shop, with the drinks placed on a glass surface.

Super nice guys, neighborhood feel. Great place to come with friends because of a patio. It's hidden behind Royal, so look for it in the back. Great coffee, I can't wait to go back.

No matter the location, the Window is the best. I go back and forth between locations, but I looove this spot for weekends especially because it's smaller and super chill. Mauricio always brightens my day. He's super friendly and remembers all his regulars and their drinks. There's also a great courtyard for when the weather is nice. The food and drinks are also super consistent. You know what you're going to get - I usually go for an iced latte and avocado toast.

I keep coming back to this location every Tim I visit Phoenix. And while I wish I could add a 6th star, because somehow they always get better, the best I can do is reshare my original thoughts and add how much I love this place each time I come. Whether you're in town for a quick visit, or a local Phoenician, you can't skip a stop at Window Coffee Bar's newest location located at The Royale. The service, the flavors, the variety and most importantly the PEOPLE make this the best coffee shop in town. Do yourself a favor and swing in today. Great indoor and outdoor space, loving the music and overall vibe!

This hidden gem is the little sister of main location that is on Camelback. This spot is great if you're wanting the quality and service that the Camelback location offers with other benefits. It's usually quiet after the morning rush. Perfect for when you're needing a spot to get some work done while not being disrupted or distracted. There also a shared courtyard with plenty of seating to catch some morning sun if that is your vibe. The music is always great here, with the volume never being too loud for conversations. The owners have maintained the excellent quality of drinks, pastries and avo toasts between the two locations. The toasts are very popular, but my all time favorite is the "turkey sandwich". I can't wait to see what the future has in store for the owners. They continue to provide a great product for the community and deserve all the sucess!

A person is holding a coffee cup with an orange sleeve from Jindong Coffee Bar, with a white lid, in front of an outdoor urban setting. The background includes buildings, utility poles, and a clear blue sky, indicating a sunny day. The hand is positioned to show the cup prominently, with the sleeve featuring illustrations and text related to the coffee shop.

This place is a little bit hard to find, depending on where the gps takes you but it's inside a cute plaza with a bunch of nice shops! The service was excellent, it was my first time here so I had some questions the barista, Maricio was super friendly and helpful with everything! Would definitely recommend stopping in if you're looking for something different than your typical Starbucks coffee, it might even surprise you!

The Americano and Avocado toast with micro greens and heirloom tomatoes. - A clear plastic cup filled with iced coffee and ice cubes, with a straw, is placed on a yellow table outdoors. Behind it, there is a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and bread on a white tray. The background shows greenery, a fence, and a blurred sign with a pink crown logo.

Avocado toast and coffee were the best by far! I would highly recommend. Owner is super friendly and staff are very polite.

: Lucky Charms Latte & Ube Latte pictured (but we had several drinks: two cappuccinos, Chagacchino, matcha latte and two lotus energy drink based refreshers, and several pastries (all not pictured). Marcus, Homero and crew are the sweetest. Marcus was working today and he's such a gem seriously. This was my first time at this Window Coffee location, I've been to the one on Camelback and of course their very first location before moving to these 2 new locations. Such a cool spot, with cute outdoor seating (they have fans, and misters are coming soon) and space to sit inside too and get some work done if you choose. There's some other little shops and a restaurant in The Royale complex. We met my oldest son this morning for coffee and he bought me flowers and a cute pin from a flower shop called Stem & Swag also in the plaza. Have you been?!?!

Lilly S.

Everything was very yummy and the workers were so nice! Lots of outdoor seating options too

Window is the best coffee spot ever! They have the most friendly staff who are always willing to offer recommendations. The decor is bright and inviting I could see this being a great place to get some work done. I've come here a few times and I love to get the cinnamon vanilla latte and substitute sugar free vanilla syrup. The pop tarts and avocado toast are amazing as well.

Now, this morning I had an unexpected invite to this "window coffee place" and since I had the open availability in my schedule and was needing to continue my meeting with my client, it was only a five minute drive, so sure why not. Thinking no biggie I can grab something small, and if I don't like it no sweat off my back its a "work" meeting. So I enter this small coffee establishment, the lighting was bright, the decor was pleasing, and the smell was delicious. I look at the menu and immediately see "cookie machiatto" and so I figure sure why not, grabbed a small (again not a coffee drinker) I let the wonderful gentleman behind the counter know "I like all the Carmel drinks". So he lets me know if I need it sweeter to just let them know they can add more. So I sit down, but started chatting for a good 10 minutes before I take my first sip! Let me tell you, my eyes were huge I immediately said loud enough for the two gentlemen behind the counter to hear, "oh my god this is delicious and I hate coffee". Seriously, I cannot sing the praises of this place loud enough. The flavor was smooth, sweet, with only the slight "bitter" coffee taste. It was fresh, creamy, the only negative I can say is I wish I would have gotten a large!!! I drank the entire thing, did not leave a drop! This is the perfect place for experienced coffee drinkers, the occasional coffee drinker, and the newbie!!! I will definitely be back, will get a large, and maybe try one of their other treats that sell. This place just might make a coffee drinker out of me yet!!! I recommend giving them a try!!!

Very welcoming space in an enormous lobby, and easy to access. Chairs, sofas, bartops, tables... the seating choices are endless. Well lit, with a security guard tucked away to keep watch. The menu is straightforward, all the expected coffee choices, and a more extensive food selection than I'd anticipated. I chose to combine the avocado toast and substitute the toast for an everything bagel. They asked if I'd like chili flakes on that and... of course! The cappuccino was excellent, with dense, stiff foam, deep flavor, and perfectly portioned. The avocado bagel was phenomenal, with good, chunky avocado, spread thick on a buttered and toasted bagel. Plenty enough to spread along both sides and have a bit left over. The flow of customers was steady and they worked through all of the orders quickly and efficiently... really could not ask for a better quick coffee breakfast experience.

I've been frequenting this architectural marvel for over 10 years. While so many new shops try to mimic this vibe, none of them are Lux. Lux is King! The 11-Year Flashback: I looked back at my review from 11 years ago when I docked them a star for the "nightmare parking." Back then, I was a "to-go" only person who never envisioned myself as a laptop-hipster hanging out. Well, times change! I'm bumping them up to 5 stars now. Maybe it's the new competition nearby or my better timing, but the parking is a breeze, and I've officially embraced the "comfy chair" lifestyle. The "Cheers" Factor: What really sets this place apart is the people. After a decade of visits, it truly feels like Cheers--where everybody knows my name! Getting to know the folks behind the counter makes every visit feel like coming home. The Sip of the Night: I shifted from my usual plain Cappuccino as my target drink to include in a review to feature their Espresso Martini. I went with a Reposado base instead of the typical vodka, and it was stellar. With two full bars in addition to the coffee and pastry bar, craft drinks truly abound here! (Note: they have an amazing cappuccino too) The Comfort Classics: You cannot leave without the food. My go-to favorites? The Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese and the legendary Chocolate Chip or Red Velvet cookies. Return Factor: 100% I've been coming here for a decade, and it's still the gold standard.
