Most offerings are light and have mild flavor. The Croissants are just so buttery. They also offer a Coffee Bun, which has a faintly sweet taste and is also very light. There is also a pastry that contains sausage. Their Croissant is 230 calories, a real flavor bargain. The more robust Almond Croissant is 470-480 calories. On the heavy side, NY-style cheesecake or Berry Tarts are 600-620 calories. Sandwiches run 400-700. You can find out more from their nutrition guides. Before you get your delight, you have to stand in line to order. Sometimes that can be a time-consuming and somewhat confusing ordeal. There are no clearly defined cues for the cash registers. If they are out of a particular coffee or tea, or if someone's order is complex, it creates a delay. The seating area has movable chairs and tables. There is no loud background noise in the seating area. It's well-lit. The bathrooms are in the back. They are adequate and clean. Paris Baguette is a South Korean multinational chain of bakery-cafés. I have been wanting to check this place out for a while. The last time I tried I could never find a parking spot -but this time I came in the middle of the day during the week and it was easy to get a spot in the small lot. I had never been here before so was happily surprised that it was a serve yourself situation -- I always feel so much pressure to select something when you have to get it from the server behind a case. So when you walk in you grab your tray or to go container and some tongs and then you can meander around a look at the goods before making your selection which you then get yourself. Everything looked so good I was practically drooling! After making my selection of an almond croissant and a coffee cronut I made my way up to the counter. I also ordered a korean iced milk coffee -- no idea what it was but sounded good! I took everything to go and when I got home I jumped right into the croissant -- it was almost as hard a rock! It tasted good but it also tasted a day old, which was very very disappointing! The coffee cronut was good too -- it had many layers and was very rich. The coffee cream on it was average -- just basically didn't taste as good as it looked. Unfortunately I can never get those calories back, LOL. The Korean iced milk coffee was good but honestly couldn't taste a difference from regular coffee. Overall the presentation was top notch but the actual tasting experience was less than average. It's a cute place and when we got there it looked like there was a group of younger people studying or hanging out. This Paris Baguette falls a bit short compared to other locations I have visited, especially on the East Coast. The shop lacks energy, promptness, and accuracy that are otherwise signature of this amazing Korean-owned chain, and the pickup situation gets pretty chaotic. Staff do not take names or direct customers, so you mostly see people standing around awkwardly waiting forever for their orders and trying not to be in the way. On the plus side, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, though it often fills up completely. Parking is always short. The sweet and savory treats are good, and the cakes are solid, but they are on the smaller and more expensive side. The various espresso drinks (hot and cold coffees made using an espresso machine) taste on average about 3 out of 5, as the young staff could probably use some better barista training. It is worth a visit for the pastries, but expect higher prices and a slow pickup process, which can sometimes make you not want to come back for a while. read more

We were craving some sweet treats. We were close by to paris baguette, so we decided to stop by. Walking in, you just see all these delicious breads and cakes. The presentation of these pastries are so beautiful which makes me want to get one of everything. I was having a sweet tooth, so I got their delicious berry tarts. I really enjoyed it. They weren't overly sweet and had a light crispy texture to it. You can retrieve the tongs and trays towards the front and then pick up whatever you lay your eyes on. I also tried paris baguette tiramisu cake a long time ago and loved it, so I know their cakes are yummy. I also love how this location has a bunch of tables. I'd say this is my least favorite location out of the ones Ive been to. Service was pretty low caliber. Staff seemed like they didn't want to be there and they were also sold out of a lot of items. My friend ordered with another cashier and she forgot to add his reward information and then blamed him for it. When he asked for it to be corrected- she handed him the receipt and told him to do it himself. This is a really great spot of fresh pastry's. They have a massive amount of variety. It's a grab and go with a tray and tongs. There is a separate room you can sit and dine. I live near this location and have passed it numerous times and still have yet to try them out. Today I took the chance and did a delivery order for several pastries and a latte. I must say the pastries were flaky, fresh and definitely what the Foodie doctor ordered! I had several items but the Strawberry croissant was the star of the show, well at least on this order. Vanilla custard on a flaky croissant with freshly sliced strawberries is the perfect combination for me! The blueberry and cream cheese danish is also a great dessert. Vanilla cronut-cronut with vanilla cream. So good, but the mocha was better imo. They both had a crispy yet chewy texture. So so good. Chocolate chunk cookies-basic but good. They were soft and had a nice but standard chocolate chip cookie flavor and texture. Hashbrown ham and cheese buns -mid. It's like a McDonald's hash brown with American cheese and some ham in a soft bun. Decent, but didn't blow my mind. Ham and cheese croissant. Crispy, cheesy, buttery. I'd eat it again. Dubai chocolate tart-yum. The sugar dough crust was crisp, the pistachio filling could have had a bit more pistachio flavor, but the soft chocolate ganache on top with the sprinkle of pistachio was good. Definitely would eat this again. I didn't take pics of everything. They looked less lovely on my long drive home. All in all, the pastries are not super cheap, but you get a great pastry. What a gem to have in the Central Phoenix neighborhood! So many options for sweet treats (different donut options) as well as savory selections. My current favorites include their coffee cronut, coffee bun, and milk bread (sliced toast). I did try their iced milk coffee and it is best described as sweet coffee-flavored milk, which fulfills a certain craving when one wants it! I do think that their espresso-based drinks might have more coffee taste, but I haven't tried those yet. Employees are friendly and helpful. Paris was good, but the experience did not warrant any return visit. They had a huge variety of options (sweets, meals, snacks, etc) in a few places near the ordering counter. The setup reminded me a school cafeteria. You pick up a tray, use the tongs to select your choices, walk up to counter, see more items peruse, then pay at the counter. The store was well decorated, very bright & colorful -- and the seating was quite comfortable (the whicker seats anyway). We ordered a wide array of savory & sweets. The salad needed more dressing, a few of the savory pastries were a bit chewy (had they been out awhile, maybe?), and most of the sweets were decent. The polite gal behind the counter offered to warm up the savory pastries but we declined -- I believe the heat would have made them more chewy. It was a bummer we didn't enjoy the food more. This was a really swell place to get a "Parisian" baked good, although I have to admit I've not been to Paris so unable to speak to true authenticity. There isn't someone immediately greeting you which I think is a loss on their behalf but still very nice. We arrived on a Sunday morning and it was quite busy. Had it not been perhaps we'd not know exactly how one is to grab their pastry options but we followed the flow of traffic to the side where they have trays and tongs to grab, along with bags and other forms of carrying your goods away if you wanted not to enjoy there. It's tough once you start because EVERYTHING looks SO GOOD, and what you thought would be a simple solo treat starts adding up really quick (or it did for us at least!). When we came here originally to grab ONE pastry for each of us (my partner and I) we ended up grabbing a variety to try and some to bring home to the fam. One of the notables is a mini 6 pack of croissants and boy oh boy.... Were those croissants TASTY. Just so buttery, flakey, soft, flavorful bites of goodness. We each had one and then saved the rest. It has a nice and spacious sitting area and an outside patio. I've never been to Paris Baguette before this location opened as I was a staunch Tous les Jours fan (Asiana foodcourt in Mesa). Now since this location has opened much closer to me compared to the one in H-Mart, I've began frequenting this spot for my end-of-the-week-sweet-treat. The interior is really nice and clean and I like the whole self service experience. The pastries themselves are very good, I definitely recommend trying some variety until you find which ones are your favorites. The lemon custard donut and any of their pastries with the fruit and cream tend to be really good. However, the croquettes and the mochi donuts cannot really compete with their counterparts (Tous les Jours and Mr. Donut respectively). Also, the price for some items tends to be a little high as well. Either way I've still come here 3 weekends in a row, so obviously these aren't deal breakers for me. Another Visit NOTE: Please fix Curry Croquettes. It tasted freezer burned and not much taste of curry. Is there a way you guys can manage how veggies are made and stored. I tried the special baguette and it was ok, got the croissant grill pork for my fiance, croissant was ok the grill pork has more taste of lemon grass then anything and didnt have that much flavor. Tried 1 of there drink paris drink it wasnt all that good, the Boba didnt taste soft and it was like me drinking milk with a bag of sugar, I had to throw it away because it was too sweet for me.
