I love 85 bakery cafe! This place is so delicious and addicting! I went to my first one in Las Vegas and then realized we also had one in Arizona which is not too far from me so huge plus for me! I tried their Vietnamese coffee with the sea salt cold foam and I added brown sugar syrup to make it sweeter ( I like my coffee on the sweet side ) this was delicious! Loved it! You definitely taste the coffee but in a good way, if you love the taste of strong coffee you'll love this. When I first came here it was around 4PM and lots of their bakery items were sold out and they were done baking for the day since they close at 6PM. So my advice is to come when they open or around noon time to get more of a selection on bakery items. I went again the next day at noon and was able to score more bakery items to try! They were not as empty as it was my first time stopping by! Woohoo! I was able to get the Jalapeño cream cheese and wow yummy!! This one sells out quickly. I also got the salted butter bread and they seem to have this one more often but it also can sell out, it's also pretty good. I was able to get my hands on the choco bun and this has like a gooey chocolate fudge inside and it's almost like a molten lava cake!! I loved it honestly. I warmed mine up in the microwave when I got home for about 5-10 seconds and it was delicious. I got the sugared cream cheese brioche and this was also pretty darn good, this seems to sell out quickly! The Garlic cheese bread is so sooo good too! My son and hubby love this one. The chocolate hazelnut muffin is delicious as well! So many goodies here!! I LOVE their Thai Tea! I get this every time I come here. Their boba is freaking good too. Great flavors! If you have not tried out this bakery I definitely recommend trying it out for sure. The ambiance in here is pretty relaxed and a good vibe. You grab a tray when you walk in and start picking out your goodies! You can also just use the kiosk machine they have to get your drinks too!

This bakery is awesome! I am familiar with them from the PNW and to my surprise they have one here. They have so many things to choose from. Most of their baked goods are original and so unique but my favorite it the Sweet Warth Bun!!! Omg I think I spelled that wrong but oh man it was so tasty. Soft, moist and deliciousness! I also got a tiramisu cheesecake and that was good very light and not too sweet. Yes they have Vietnamese iced coffee! One more thing so affordable!!!!! Shout out to the owner for making these eats fantastically affordable! You don't have to break the bank here!

Our favorite place to stop by every time we're around this area. It's very nice place, good cakes, and the staff is always nice and friendly. The ambiance of this place gives you high energy and the warm ambiance.

This is the place to go if you want your coffee fix and a nice treat! I went in to try their jalapeño cream cheese bread and it was delicious. I also tried their iced hazelnut latte with sea salt cold foam. The location was very clean and everything was organized. It's a grab what you want and take it to the counter to pay kind of place, which I enjoy. There are kiosks to order drinks too, but I just ordered at the front and the cashier was very helpful with taking my order. Will be back soon to try other things.

This place is so good. I love the food. I love the customer service. I very much found it a fabulous place to go. The desserts are not very expensive for the large amount that you get. I'm obsessed with Asian foods. You would be too if you're looking for something yummy not as sweet as everywhere else. It's more on the savory side.

Visited on Thanksgiving morning. The business was busy with lots of customers, but unfortunately there was only one cashier working. Her working pace was slow and she even went to the kitchen to get gloves to pick up cakes, which made the line move even slower. With so many people waiting, we felt a bit frustrating. Hope they can improve their staffing or workflow during busy times.

i went here cause i've been seeing the vietnamese coffee go viral on tiktok, as soon as i walked in and i wasn't greeted by any of the workers, i ordered on the kiosk which was easy to do, the place was clean, they have limited seating inside, when i got my coffee the worker just called my name and walked away immediately, and everyone working there just seemed to be in a bad mood, the Vietnamese coffee was good but not good enough to drive 20 mins out the way for again, the chocolate walnut muffin was insanely delicious and had like nutella filling inside, overall the food and drink options are great but the customer service is very lacking!

I'm so excited to have another great bakery on the west side. I stopped in shortly after it opened and happened to get a free reusable bag as I was one of the first people in that day. There was already a few things that were sold out shortly after opening. Not sure if they were not put out yet for the day or if they are restocked through the day. It was busy and the employees were all friendly and helping the line move quickly. Everything we got was fresh, spongy and delicious! I cannot wait to try a coffee the next stop in!

Ordered 2 cakes through their app for my son's birthday. When we arrived, they told us they didn't have them and asked if we knew where they were! Luckily, my receipts proved we'd paid. They eventually found them in their freezer. Think twice before ordering from this app.

This is by far the smallest 85° Bakery I've visited, but it still manages to pack in a great selection of breads, a full drink menu, and a variety of cakes. We ordered our drinks via the self-serve kiosk, and they were ready in no more than five minutes, which was impressive. Inside, there are only three tables, so this isn't the best spot for studying or hanging out for long periods--it's more of a grab-and-go kind of place. The atmosphere was very clean and well-maintained, and they were consistently bringing out fresh bread, which was a nice touch. I tried the strawberry matcha drink, and while it was incredibly refreshing, I do wish the matcha flavor was a bit stronger. That said, it was still delicious and definitely worth trying! If you're in the mood for something quick and tasty, this location will do the trick.

So I was in the Peoria area and I wanted some tea and came across 85 bakery cafe, not even knowing it was so much more once I went inside! Pleasantly surprised and a little overwhelmed by all the bakery options to choose from and no explanation on what to do. I looked at other customers a saw that you get a tray and shop all the bakery items out then pay at register. Since I really wasn't in the mood for any tasty looking baked goods or dessert which was in a glass case, I used their self checkout screen and ordered an iced matcha green tea strawberry iced latte. The wait wasn't long because most people were getting baked items. The cafe is very cute with a few seating spots inside but mostly the seating is outside. My Matcha Strawberry latte was SO GOOD, it had pretty esthetic with green and pink and fresh strawberries at the bottom!! I will be back again and will be prepared for bakery shopping! My only gripe is that no one explained or helped me understand what they were and how to make the best of my first time there.

I told myself I wasn't going to spend a lot here and buy a bunch. So, that was a lie. Our total was less than $75, with the app you can get points and I got a free quarterly drink. Yasssss. Saving money. If you don't use it, you're losing money lol. It was very busy for their soft opening. Obvi everyone is just as excited as me. Service was very friendly It looks nice and clean in there and there's plenty of parking. (It's right next to a Petsmart with lots of parking even if the smaller lot gets full) Some of the items they offer at this location are different than what I found at the other Az location. I'm unsure if it was a menu update or just location specific. They have sandwiches at this location. They had a pesto sandwich but I forgot what else was on there. I got the ham and cheese and my mini and I split it. There was ham, cheese and a dill sauce, on puff pastry topped with poppy seeds. I'm pretty sure there was something else but I ate it super fast. It was so good. So the Vietnamese iced coffee, it's always delicious no matter where you get it. But today I was tired and when I took a sip I felt like a video game character when they increase their health. 10/10. The tiramisu cheesecake was pretty good. It wasn't too sweet. I would prefer more coffee flavor but it wasn't still good. There is a ton of cocoa powder on top. When mini and I were taking bites, cocoa powder was falling off our forks everywhere. But, ‍, I've come to terms with being a little messy. Basque cheesecake is a small cheesecake treat I never skip. I'm one of those people that don't like cheesecake crust, so this is perfect for me. It's a cup of cheesecake and it's not super sweet and it's delicious. My go-to drink every time is the red grapefruit green tea, it's super refreshing, no matter the temperature outside. If you want a delicious breakfast bun to start your day, it kind of depends on what you're looking for. If you want protein, I recommend the bacon and cheese or the ham and cheese or the jalapeño cream cheese (it tastes like a bagel with cream cheese but softer). Yummmm. Anyway, I'm so excited we have one on my side of town, I'm probably going to be there a lot.

Not at all what I was expecting or hoping. I don't look up many photos or what this bakery was about and that probably would have helped. Everything was pre packaged which was odd. I don't even know if they bake there? I was hoping for a fresh bakery and cozy vines. This was very modern, felt like I was in an airport. I wanted a plan croissant this morning and they didn't have one. I for some coconut bread, it was ok, nothing to brag about. Orders a hot Caramel macchiato, it was nothing special. Not many food items to my liking.

I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. Cannot wait for the next time that I'm in the area to grab more sweets!

I had about a two-hour break during a track…read moremeet and noticed a small line forming outside this bakery in downtown Glendale--so I decided to go on a little adventure. This was my first stop, and I'm so glad it was. The café itself is absolutely charming--spacious, clean, and with plenty of seating. But what stood out immediately was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling. You can tell this is a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Despite the line, they were patient, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their coffee selection is wide but not overwhelming. . I went with the matcha latte with pistachio, which was well-balanced. When it came to food, I couldn't decide between my usual go-to (broccoli and cheese quiche) or the bacon, spinach, and cheddar--or even the tomato basil, which sounded amazing. I asked the barista/ server to choose for me, and she recommended the bacon, spinach, and cheddar. It did not disappoint. The crust was thick and perfectly done, and the filling was layered and flavorful--just incredible. I also ordered an ube muffin and was given a complimentary lemon tart (no complaints here!). The ube muffin was exactly what you'd hope for--lightly sweet with a delicate blend of vanilla, nutty notes, and a hint of coconut. The lemon tart was perfectly balanced--bright, slightly tart, and complemented beautifully by the whipped topping. Before leaving, I grabbed a loaf of sourdough to go. They even offered to slice it for me--small detail, big win. And I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I do not say this lightly: this is hands-down some of the best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco. Honestly worth the 45-minute drive just for that alone. I come from a background in the restaurant industry, and great service doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone here was attentive, kind, and truly invested in the experience they provide. The customer service alone is worth the visit. They so offer Panini's and daily soups.. Their menu changes daily. They also offer Louisiana hot sauce so someone knows what they're doing. I can't wait to bring my kids here next time. We will absolutely be back.

Waited maybe a couple min, because they had 4-5 workers helping customers. It kinda reminded me of Porto's in LA (iykyk, so efficient). I made my selection (strawaberry concha, dulce du leche-filled churro, guava empanada, DDL-filled cono rellano aka flaky and caramel-filled pastry, DDL-filled churro, corbata danes aka puff pastry w optionally flavored twist, conos de crema aka cream horn). Ate the cream horn immediately in the parking lot - delish. Loved the churro, which was maybe a foot long! Enjoyed the guava empanada as well. Concha was nice and soft, all the flaky pastries were amazing. Total was just under $17 (7 items) with cream horn being around ~$4. Didn't get any tortillas, but I saw them being made, hot off the press! Will definitely be back, esp for the filled items. They also had sooo many cookies, as well as a white cake topped w fruit. *Extra (small) charge if using a credit card, so cash to avoid this charge.* There was also a pop-up coffee shop in the parking lot (saw they packed up at 1pm though), which would be the perfect pairing for any La Purisima goodies.

It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!

In our day's Sunnyslope business, our niece took us to Kris Frybread. Arriving we saw Dawn's. She said Dawn's gets high ratings too. After our excellent Kris meal I made my way to Dawn's. I am infamous in the family for my dessert rxtravagance. But I share with all at our table. Take your choice! Our niece got cannoli, I got lidded shortbread custard cups, vanilla and almond. Sweet D got a cherry and an apple turnover delivered into the box. It is five days later. My sugar intake has dropped a lot. In our home baking we cut sugar ingredients by half. Older Hopi bakers put in enough sugar for a hint of sweet in their cookies. Modern bakers glaze them. I'll take those traditional ones. When I say the shortbread cup with custard was too sweet for me, that's my 21st century palate speaking. The almond cup was a buy-again item for me, still sweet, very almond. The cherry turnover was flaky, the filling tart, oozing fillng and cherries. The gold medal, blue ribbon "I'd buy this again, for sure is the apple turnover.
