I'm not sure I'd recommend her to make you a rainbow cake. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and I just have no idea how she messed this up so bad. She claimed "the purple and orange just got darker as it set" okay so re do the buttercream for the colors I asked for? read more

I found this business because they came out to a local festival to sell some of their baked goods. I had a brownie and a cookie which were priced a little better than some of the other concession stands. They were pretty good! If i could do zero stars I would. Don't go here ****i put the cowboy hat on 1. The price on cupcakes is misleading 2. The cupcakes taste like Walmart box ready mix 3. The cupcakes weren't filled to the top 4. They stick to the wrapper 5. Frosting is Pillsbury. (We compared) 6. And lastly, i am a returning customer and it's gone down drastically read more

I used this bakery fir my daughters wedding cake. OMG the cake was amazing!! I also only ordered originally for 60 guests and then at the last minute-we had 98. The bakery came up with a really cute idea and saved the day. Instead of changing the cake my daughter really wanted they suggested we put little wedding cake cupcakes around the larger cake...it went over great. A huge thank you to the staff who were fantastic to work with but very knowledgeable and helpful. I would give them a 10 if possible. Special thanks to Cheryl read more

We have been ordering CC's cake for several years and she always delivers! Her artistic designs has birthday guests always asking, who created the cake?! Her cake design is not only nice, but her desserts are moist, flavorful, and rich. Just wanted to shout out to her because I provided her the wrong date, but she was able to make adjustments for us. Thank you! read more

I ordered a custom cake for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We were trying to replicate our wedding cake and CC's nailed it! The cake was beautifully decorated and more importantly delicious! The vanilla buttercream frosting and champagne sponge was amazing but I was most impressed with the strawberry mousse filling, it had bits of strawberries in it and you could tell it was freshly handmade. Ordering was easy and I was able to handle the whole process by text, the owner was quick and extremely responsive and efficient. My cake was ready for pick up right on time and she even confirmed with me the day before. My Husband and I were so pleased with the cake and it really brought us back to that special day 10 years ago! Thank you CC"s we will be ordering more cakes from you soon! read more

We had the chocolate fountain. It was amazing!!! Very professional. Was a great hit. They came set up and served.

I was impressed by CC's Sweet Sensations in both presentation and taste. As others have said, she can match or exceed a cake from an inspiration picture you provide. I received compliments from guests at my son's 2nd birthday party and a couple folks asked where the cake/cupcakes were from. The mixed berry filling is my favorite! I am very pleased with my experience and would order from this shop again. read more

Cheryl is amazing. Her prices are very reasonable and her cakes are absolutely delicious. So fluffy and creamy. The strawberry and lemon flavors are luscious. Come here for a tasting and you will see. The best part of working with Cheryl is that she goes out of her way to make your cake completely perfect. She is always available by phone, email and text..and she will always get back to you about our questions (big or small). Not sure how big your cake should be? How do you pick up the cake yourself? Second guessing on the embellishments? Yeah she has heard it all. She has done this for many many years and will put everything at ease. We were thrilled to work with her for our custom almond flavor poppyseed cake with raspberry filling. And her custom edible gold foil speckles were brilliant. She delivered on every request we had. And she made it so easy to work with her. Our cake was not too big and not too small for our wedding. And oh man it tasted great. We could not be happier. read more

Just hate to give any ZERO stars as I Would definitely reconsider to chose this C C's Sweet Sensation bakery again as a 1st time customer because even though it's very close to my home by (less than 5 minutes) and nice looking cakes in window shop store my special day wedding CAKE TASTE HORRIBLY DRY As we plan our backyard very small wedding our guests all stated Inside of cake tastes awfully "very dry " AND they didn't taste any strawberry and vanilla cream mousse cake filling inside as Cheryl was advised to do add but cake was more like a Pillsbury store bought cake mix and definitely NOT freshly made! And it cost me $356.72 !!! It was for my wedding so I didn't mind to pay for my special day but very overpriced two tier cake but In addition being charged an extra $20 for the cake topperTOO LOL (should have been FREE) and learn same cake topper cheaper online because Cheryl at end was FORGETTING things and made mistakes to add my fiancé's picture of "he and I" as she apologized saying she knew she was forgetting something but offered to deliver edible picture to my home which is very close-by her store but although cake looked beautifully decorated on outside it was horribly dry tasting in the inside not delicious and very much overpriced at $356.72 !!! No prior sampling tasting was offered and was very disappointed but overall we had a romantic and privately nice ceremony at end! Just not the wedding cake so much! read more

CC's Sweet Sensations was the perfect choice for our wedding! My now-husband and I wanted to do a donut wall for our guests and a small wedding cake for ourselves. Cheryl was able to take our idea of what we wanted our cake to look like and executed it perfectly! Our gold drip cake looked too good to eat (but trust me, we did!). The flavor of the cake and the delicious fruity filling still makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Cheryl also allowed us to rent a couple of gorgeous donut walls that she and her husband created. The donut walls grabbed everyone's attention and we couldn't keep our guests away from them! Whether your event is big or small, I strongly recommend looking in to CC's Sweet Sensations for your dessert needs! read more

We ordered an Almond cake with buttercream frosting and coconut cream filling and is was outstanding! Cheryl surpassed all our expectations. The cake was moist and rich but surprisingly not too sweet. Many people commented on the balance of flavors and sweetness. Sometimes birthday cakes are overwhelmingly sugary but not this one. It was light and moist and very flavorful. One of our friends is Puerto Rican and also a chef. She told us almond cake was a favorite back home for wedding cake and she had had it many times. This one she said was at the top of her list of cakes. Thank you for the beautiful 75th birthday cake! It helped make our celebration special. read more

If I could give her MORE stars I would! We asked for a wedding cake that was batman themed but also elegant and she really delivered far beyond my expectations. Thank you for making our dream wedding cake we are so happy! read more

By far best the looking cake ever! I used Pinterest to get the design for the cake and showed Cheryl. She was excited to do the design. This design was way better than what I originally sent her. It was for my son's first birthday party. He had a Star Wars-themed party. We picked red velvet for the top two tiers (BB8 and stormtrooper and the bottom (Wookiee) was chocolate. The cake and design were amazing. I don't usually like fondant but it tasted better than what I have had. CC's was quick to respond and customer service was great. This is our future go-to cake decorator. :) read more

CC's Sweet Sensations - Star Wars themed cake. Red velvet top two and bottom is chocolate with buttercream filled. Delicious! (And NO this was NOT the smash cake) - Bakeries Near Me - Glendale, Arizona

The cake I received was technically what I asked for, but done with the least amount of artistry and effort possible. I asked for blue roses, rainbows and gold flourishes/lacing and all of those elements were present? But the flowers were obviously mold made rather than made of icing and the gold lace flourishes were sloppy and lacked any flourish at all. The letters were very small and all of the decorations were made with fondant, and I really just expected that someone with so many cakes on her website and so much experience making cakes would bring some artistry and passion to the craft. The decorative icing around the cake hadn't even been put into a ribbed pipe to add some character to it! we asked for chocolate and raspberry and there was no raspberry flavor at all. I'm disappointed that I put the trust in this business to give me a beautiful cake, because as an artist when I'm given a few major needs and the opportunity to make something beautiful that meets all of the criteria I take it as an exciting opportunity to create something beautiful, not a chance to scrape by meeting the bare minimum requirements for the person's request. I paid 300 dollars for this cake and got a cake that a student would be able to successfully make, not what I'd expect out of a professional cake designer. The lady was so nice and her website had so many beautiful cakes, I really thought that I could trust that she'd make me a beautiful, impressive cake. Instead I got flowers that were popped out of a mold where even the leaves on the flowers were blue, fondant rainbows and a cake that expressed to me that I was an easy 300 dollars. I'm only giving 2 stars because regardless of the cake, my wedding was a wonderful time and the quality did not ruin my ceremony. read more

I used CC's for my daughters first birthday and the cake turned out just how I wanted it!!! I sent her a picture of what I wanted and she replicated it EXACTLY! It was super delicious too! I had red velvet for one tier and marble for the second tier. I'm a die hard dessert lover but I will admit it was a little on the overly sweet side for me. But hey...it is cake. CC was nice enough to even throw in a smash cake for my daughter. We will definitely be ordering again! read more

I had to arrange a birthday & bachelorette party in Scottsdale, AZ & needed a special cake for 40th birthday celebration. Living in Seattle I have no idea how i would find a bakery to make my inspiration cake. So I search & came across CC's Sweet Sensations. I had looked at the Google, Yelp review & photos. Also their website. I mean WOW on all the cakes they had on there looked so amazing. I had ro reach out. And sure enough they were happy to make my inspiration cake. Second time back after a year. Ordered smash cake and 30 cupcakes for daughter's first birthday. Cake was hard and frosting was store bought. Cupcakes stuck to wrapper were dry and had barley any frosting. Cheryl added sprinkles to cupcakes that we did not ask for. Let Cheryl know about cake and cupcakes and she called us liars. I wanted to surprise my wife with something special for our 10th Anniversary. I had a knee surgery scheduled for the beginning of June, which would crush our hopes of having a fun anniversary at the end of the month. I wanted to do something special that would be a welcome surprise to my wife and tell her just how much she means to me. My wife was coming home from speaking at a conference out east and I decided to surprise her with a top tier wedding cake that was a complete match to our wedding cake from 10 years earlier. I also found the exact champagne we toasted with as we had our cake at the celebration 10 years earlier. We cut the cake with the same engraved knife we used 10 years ago. We drank from the same engraved champagne flutes we toasted with 10 years ago. It was a TOTAL WIN! We had an awesome time! The Cake was FAR better than the one we had 10 years ago, and the one we had 10 years ago was actually very good. Cheryl at CC's Sweet Sensations makes a REALLY GOOD cake you guys. I'm actually planning to order another one at the end of the month to celebrate again, because seriously you guys, this is really REALLY good cake! Thank you, Cheryl, for making such a wonderful cake for us. And seriously, I'll be calling in a week or so to order another one for our actual anniversary date at the end of the month. I need my CC's cake fix. read more

I order a cake for my loves birthday from CC's Sweet Sensations - Wedding Cake , Chocolate Fountains , Party Cakes.. I wanted it to be special.. I dropped everything off that was requested of me 3 weeks prior to me needing the cake... this cake was $104.00 and it's supposed to feed 6 to 8.. kinda steep but anywho it was for my love so it was worth it.. This is what I wanted... this is what I picked up.. STRAIGHT SHIT... I told the lady I was not happy.. she said she could fix it... what she called her self doing was better but not what I paid for... I bought what they told me to buy for the inside of the cake and they claimed they couldn't work with it... and instead of calling me the printed edible paper on the cake with the ugliest colors they could come up with.. and have the nerve to be mad that im not happy... Told me that they sent the pic to other people and they liked it... I PAID FOR IT AND I DON'T LIKE IT.. that should be all that Matters... The customer service was HORRIBLE and the communication was even worse... I will never ever ever refer or send anyone to CC's Sweet Sensations read more
