Michelle is so kind and wonderful to deal with! im so happy i have found her here on yelp :) i inquired about making a minecraft theme cake for my son's birthday party, sent her the pic, then waalah! she did it!! her cake tastes amazing! we got the vanilla cake with butter cream icing. and the cake is mixed with sprinkles also! she was very easy to coordinate with. i also asked if she can deliver the cake since throwing a birthday party can be so hectic, esp for a single mom with limited help! one less thing to worry about! i will definitely order from her again and recommend her to everyone i know! here's a pic of my set up with her cake in the middle. so cute! and the cake is huge!! I found Michelle after reading all the great reviews on Yelp as I prefer to support local businesses when possible! I found myself planning my daughters high school grad party with only a week notice due to our date falling through! I reached out to Michelle on a Sunday and we text most of the day just trying to figure out design ideas, etc. We met up the following night at a Starbucks to finalize design and cost. It was so easy interacting with her and it was awesome to see the passion she has for creating great experiences! I would highly recommend Michelle and will definitely use her for future events!!

Last week I went through yelp looking for a custom cake for the wife's bday (Called on Weds needed it by Sat). Mychelle answered my call and asked me a few questions then asked me to send her a picture of what I wanted for a quote. After getting a price I didn't hesitate because I knew time was against me. That evening I met her and just by what I smelled coming from her kitchen I knew that I was in the best hands. During our meeting she asked me a lot of questions on details that I wanted. At that moment I learned that what I wanted to order was called a "two layered rosette cake with an ombre effect"... lol. She took my order down, took my deposit and worked out delivery options. Saturday came and I was soo busy that I had forgotten about the cake- she took that stress away. She arrived promptly and when my wife saw it she was in awe. Mychelle even sent me a pic on how to cut it and how to store it. She is very very detailed and I feel that her prices do not justify her impeccable service and product. I got more than what I paid for... Its probably the most delicious cake I have ever tried- very moist and favorful. She has earned my lifelong business.
Michelle did an amazing job with my birthday cake! I was very indecisive and but sure what I wanted and she was very patient and very helpful. I called Baby Cakes Bakery looking to find someone who knew how to make fondant flowers. My Neice wanted me to make some cake pops that looked like oranges for her daughter's 1st birthday. When I explained to Michelle (the owner) what I needed and showed her a picture of what I wanted to have made, she said she would do a little research and see if she would be able to make the orange blossom flowers to put on my cake pops. She got back to me with in an hour or so and had a plan for making them. She was even able to have them made for me within the timeline I needed. Michelle's communication with me was exceptional and I always felt like she sincerely wanted to help me and provide me with a beautiful product. And they were truly beautiful, delicate little flowers and leaves. They were just what I needed to make my little "cuties" cake pops look adorable. I was extremely happy working with Michelle and happy with the product she created for my project. I highly recommend you call Michelle for your next cake or baking project. read more

I was in search of a nearby baker for some custom sugar cookies for my son's second birthday and after two failed attempts with other bakers I came across Baby Cakes Bakery! Inquiring with Michelle was so seamless and she responds back very fast. Talking with Michelle through text and eventually in person consultation was great and very professional and friendly! My granddaughter was turning 6 and, unbeknownst to me, was convinced I would have chocolate mermaid cupcakes at my house when she came for her birthday dinner. I contacted Baby Cakes Bakery a few days prior and asked if it would be possible to get a dozen chocolate mermaid cupcakes. Baby Cakes came through for me! It was very easy to communicate through text and get my order placed. They were prettier than I imagined. Pretty purple frosting with edible glitter, pearls, and mermaid tales. I needed a last minute smash cake for my daughter's 1st bday. Michelle at first was up front that she wouldn't be able to make it to her high standards and told me she didn't want to give me a sub par cake. I really appreciated her honesty and decided to get some cupcakes from her instead. We talked further and she had researched a way to make the Elmo cake I was envisioning without compromising quality. This is very much over due! As this happened in May, However the work done by Michelle is amazing she saved me! I was asked to help with a birthday cake for my cousin's one year old and of course I waited till the end to look around and was getting worried I would have to settle for a store cake (nothing wrong with that) and I went on yelp saw a few places but nothing. Then I found this cake shop I called Michelle and after talking on the phone sending her my ideas we got to something do able in the horribly short amount of time I gave her and in the end I loved it! I just had a baby shower this past weekend (Jan 13th) and had placed my order with Michelle back in November. My theme was based on the book "Where the Wild Things Are". I didn't want to miss an opportunity to work with her after viewing her work!! She responded to me promptly and we communicated back and forth about my ideas.
