I visited at opening time on Memorial Day Monday and was immediately captivated by the colorful and quirky environment, with playful and clever artwork and decor, and both indoor and outdoor seating available. Great music playing in the background set the mood, songs like Knock Three Times and Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond. The lady who helped me place my order, possibly the owner, was so sweet. Patient too, as I made my selections. It was hard to choose what to get as the shop has so many appetizing sweet and savory options on the menu. I ended up getting a chocolate milkshake and a 6-pack of oatmeal cookies I was able to take home and share, including chocolate chip (no nuts), chocolate walnut, peanut butter dark chocolate cashew, dark chocolate pecan, dark chocolate cashew, and oatmeal raisin with pecans (they have a nut-free version too). The taste of everything was phenomenal. The shake had the perfect consistency and a strong chocolatey flavor, yet wasn't too sweet. And the cookies were nice and chewy and loaded with delicious chunks of nuts and chocolate. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between the nut and chocolate combo flavors as the oatmeal was really the highlight. The peanut butter one and oatmeal raisin were more recognizable. Absolutely loved this place. It's super cute and fun inside. They have plenty of options for treats, drinks, or eats. I came for a cookie but stayed for fries too. Haha The cookie options all sounded amazing, but anything s'mores is an automatic choice. They had cute colorful marshmallows in it. And it's fairly big. Not overly sweet. Just right. I loved it! The fries were a huge portion. I had to take most home. They were also really tasty. The prices were great, especially coming from the PNW area. I had a nice chat with the wonderful lady working there. She was very sweet, and I enjoyed hearing a little bit about her story. What a wonderful place! I happen to be in the area on a Monday so the area was kind of slow, but I did see one place open coyote oaties. I was entire need of the restroom as well. Plus I also needed an iced coffee. I proceeded to order the tan coyote along with a oatmeal cookie with no nuts, and I have the lunch special which included a soda and a mini oatmeal cookie, which is a bite-size cookie basically it was good. It had M&Ms in it. I believe my favorite thing was definitely the tank coyote. It was perfect. That white macchiato. Oh yeah that's what I'm talking about and the sandwich was delicious as well perfectly made on sourdough bread everything freshly made. The can soda was ice cold. I kept it along for the ride to keep me cool. Fun fact I'm kind of a soda collector. I think cause every time a meal comes with a can soda. I usually always save it because I ordered something else to drink. A half dozen oatmeal cookies are about 18 bucks which I look forward to ordering in the near future. They also have oatmeal dozens and Specialty Crates for all occasions is the most recommended purchase and they can be mailed world wide. The best oatmeal cookies are here. Service was smooth. Food was good! I got the twisted coyote (macchiato), which was pretty delicious. Ambiance was popping with colors! I enjoyed walking around and taking in everything. I also got their turkey sandwich which came with your choice of bread, provolone cheese, tomato, and lettuce. I saw the viral Pumpkin Spice Latte in a pumpkin on Instagram and had to stop by to try myself. The shop itself is so adorable and full of old timey decor and knick knacks. I loved that so much. The place isn't big but they make do with lots of 2 seater tables and a few 4 tops. The staff was so friendly and although it was BUSY in there today they were super efficient. Came here on a Saturday at about lunch time as my friend had seen the coffee buckets online. Well- they were buckets and had cute little charms on them but at $20 each it comes with its price. I did like that I could customize it say I only wanted it half sweet. I really enjoyed the strawberry matcha with oatmilk. It was so good. My friend got the white chocolate one and got it half sweet as well but it tasted a bit watery? So they graciously offered to replace it to the chai drink. We also ordered some meals- I ordered the SENora dog- not sure if the misspelling was intentional as Senora is spelled Sonora and ordered it with onion rings and my friend ordered the breakfast sandwich. They brought it out to us and the Senora hot dog came with some real bacon bits, diced tomatoes, and a chipotle mayo sauce. It was their take on the Sonoran hot dog that is wrapped in bacon and topped with cooked pinto beans, Pico and mayo. Instead of onion rings, they brought out the hot dog with fries but because we had pestered them about the drink- we didn't bother to correct it. It was actually really good! The hot dog seemed crisp, a bit charred (which is how they cook Sonoran hot dogs) and it was pretty big and as a chipotle lover- the chipotle mayo sauce gave it a good flavor. The fries were okay. My friends breakfast sandwich came out with two sandwich bread slices and bacon and egg and she said it was okay. After our meal- we opted for some cookies. I got the crancherry pecan dark chocolate and she got the butterscotch flavored one. The crancherry pecan chocolate cookie was amazing! Filled with cranberry cherries, pecans, dark chocolate and oatmeal- it was rich, sweet and a tiny bit crunchy. I would eat more if I could but the cookie was a good sized cookie. My friend also enjoyed her butterscotch cookie. Overall- the food was decent- I probably would not get the coffee buckets again and maybe opt for a regular coffee next time. I would return though for that cookie. read more

Everything about this place was great! I'd never explored downtown Glendale, and this place was our first stop. The coffee shop was decorated with lots of classic looking kitchen decor. There was also a connecting shop that had gifts and knickknacks for anyone you might need to buy something for. I was told by a regular to try the chai tea drink and it did not disappoint. It was perfect. I also picked out one of their huge, all natural ingredient cookies, specifically the s'mores and it was delicious and filling! This place had lots of baked goods to choose from. All of the staff were very friendly and we even got to talk to the owner Denise, who was so sweet! I cannot wait to come back here and try the other tasty looking treats. read more

What a special restaurant in downtown Glendale, AZ! Angel and the other workers were delightful. They were friendly, helpful and professional! My friend and I went in this adorable shop because I was thirsty and wound up having lunch there. The sandwiches were delicious and my turkey had a generous portion of turkey on it. I frequent this area often for work and have always been curious to try some of these small businesses around downtown Glendale. I was craving a cold drink, so i stumbled in to Coyote Oaties. I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted kindly by the staff member working this afternoon and ordered an iced strawberry lemonade. It was cool and so refreshing. I then looked to their baked goods case, and while I'm not usually a fan of oatmeal cookies, they looked so delicious. I ended up grabbing a s'mores and m&m cookie. We visited this location on Sunday and it was ok. I only saw one person behind the counter making a drink for someone which gave us a few minutes to look at what was in the cases. We saw brownies, cookies, cheesecake, and ice cream (when we were leaving we saw they also had muffins) they also serve some different coffees and food (like burger and such). When it came our time to order, I asked if there were any brownies without nuts. She said "no" so that was disappointing for my kid. We ordered a brownie, chocolate chip cookie, and an Oreo cheesecake. The store itself was a smaller more olde timey place with an antique/thrift store attached. There were a few table inside and a few more outside if you wanted to sit and enjoy your purchase. We opted to walk back to our car. The chocolate chip cookie was an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie (hence their name) which, unfortunately, was bland. The center was kind of mushy which was a little off putting and then it left a weird aftertaste in my mouth that I got to contemplate on our drive back to Tempe. It wasn't good. I didn't like it. Later I had the brownie, i was a little worried since the cookie was so... not good. But i was pleasantly surprised, the brownie was actually pretty good. A few days later I ate the Oreo cheesecake (it was a "mini" cheesecake) the cheesecake was really good too, it could've definitely been shared by two people. read more

As a lover for small, mom& pop coffee shops, I wanted to give coyote oaties a try I've been here a couple times, all with different experiences. My first time the coffee was way too sweet, I noticed they don't measure their syrup and just pour it in, making every drink inconsistent and different. I wanted to give it another opportunity & try to ask for my drink basic & half sweet. Unfortunately I will not be able to let you know how the drink was due to the elderly women being so rude to me I had to walk out holding my tears. *I was very polite and repeated my order to her two times, I ordered a 16oz drink in a 24 oz with extra ice. ( in my experience I just prefer colder drinks.) The women made ongoing condescending comments to me like " you just don't want to pay for the 24oz ". Visited on a random Saturday afternoon. There was a short line, and a good amount of people dining in. The line was a little slow moving, but we got our order in. I got a chai latte with soy milk - it was delicious, a little on the sweeter side, but I did feel like half my drink was missing. Got a medium, but it was a little more than half full. My SO requested a tea latte....which she took one sip, and unfortunately, threw away. It was lack luster with no tea flavor. We didn't really blame Coyote Oaties for this since it was special request and not on their menu. Lesson learned! Probably would have said something, but we were already walking/late towards our event. Loved the space and the offerings. Also appreciated the vegan cookie, though we did not try this time around.
