So put donuts and mexican food and you get this excellent establishment. Sounds strange but PLEASE NOTE that they are each their own entity. It used to be just the mexican side and then somehow they merged. I only ever had their donuts, coffee and donut side drunks nothing on the mexican aide. DONUTS - they are the best. Rainbow or Bosa don't compare. These are fluffy yet soft. Bosa and Rainbow sometimes are flat or lack flavor. But These guys know how to make donuts. My favorite is the Tiger Tail and butterfly. They are the fancy kind but worth it. No one else makes them like these guys. Try it and trust me you will like them. However all their other donuts are quite delicious. I try other places and always come back to comparing to this establishment. They got the perfect formula going. Coffee - it's actually excellent. Don't know what brand they use but its fresh ground and its tasty. Boba - nothing negative about it. Customer Service - its a Cambodian couple who are very humble and nice. The woman is jumpy and talks to you and appreciates your business like no other place. Like i said i cant speak for the Mexican offerings but trust me try their donuts and you will be hooked and willing to make the drive.

The name is downright deceptive. Yes, they sell ice cream. But they also sell; Doughnuts Coffee American style breakfast sandwiches Tacos Tortas Burritos Quesadillas Boba tea Pho Smoothies Raspados Hot dogs Nachos Hot chocolate Chicken salad Fried rice And I'm sure more I've overlooked. My history with these all inclusive shops has always been lack luster. They usually have one good thing on the menu and everything else is meh. My wife and I decided to investigate. We ordered a doughnut, carnitas pho, asada and carnitas al pastor tacos to get a feel for where this restaurant shined. The apple crumb doughnut was huge and fluffy. The crumble on top was perfectly sweet and the filling was plentiful. 10/10 The tacos came next. Visually appealing, great flavor, and the hot sauces paired perfectly. 11/10 The pho came out pre-mixed. Most pho restaurants serve the basil, jalapeño, and bean sprouts on a separate plate so you can decide how much of each you want. I was apprehensive about how it was presented for .01 seconds. Then I tasted it. A little hotter than I usually make it but SO SO GOOD 12/10 We noted while nomming that a few of the menu items had their prices adjusted via tape and sharpies. The prices have gone down which is unheard of. Thai iced tea was $2.98 for a medium, now it's $2.59. Large went from $3.98 down to $2.99. This place is a tasty trip. The decor is eclectic af with Asian, Indian, and American influences. This is a great place to hit up anytime.

Been here a couple times and always got what I always get for boba and this time I tried watermelon recommend by the cashier and it was really good like everything else there of course

Great donuts and breakfast croissants. Family owned and very friendly. Donuts are fresh and taste great! Sandwiches on toast croissant or bagel. Ice cream, smoothies, ice tea coffee, cappuccino, and hot cocoa. Open early and prices are very reasonable. Welcome them to the neighborhood!

The food and service is great!!! I really like their tuna sandwiches and green thai tea boba. The best thing to order is the torta cubana!

The long line I believe wouldn't be so much the employees fault. If anything it's more on the customers side, most of the time customers will order x amount of drinks that'll cause the back up of the line. I didn't get the chance to get the girls name that was took our orders and the other that was at the register. They were super nice and helpful and made the whole experience amazing! I really appreciate how they were personable, friendly and had great customer service skills. In addition to that they had product knowledge. It was really helpful that the person taking orders could offer suggestions on drink orders being that I was a first time customer. We also ordered food two burritos and the sriracha sour cream or cream cheese sauce that came with it was really good! I can't wait to come back again and try a new order.

Lots of seating, good lighting, the staff is friendly and they have a convenient drive-thru. While this will probably not be a Black Rock Coffee Bar that I visit often, this is the one closest to my parents' house. It's a great place to stop when I need an extra boost of caffeine before having to help my parents with whatever phone or Facebook problem their having. Just a note: The Strawberry Blondie with Sweetheart Coldfoam they had going on for Valentine's Day... tasty! Very Instagrammable.

I visited at opening time on Memorial Day Monday and was immediately captivated by the colorful and…read morequirky environment, with playful and clever artwork and decor, and both indoor and outdoor seating available. Great music playing in the background set the mood, songs like Knock Three Times and Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond. The lady who helped me place my order, possibly the owner, was so sweet. Patient too, as I made my selections. It was hard to choose what to get as the shop has so many appetizing sweet and savory options on the menu. I ended up getting a chocolate milkshake and a 6-pack of oatmeal cookies I was able to take home and share, including chocolate chip (no nuts), chocolate walnut, peanut butter dark chocolate cashew, dark chocolate pecan, dark chocolate cashew, and oatmeal raisin with pecans (they have a nut-free version too). The taste of everything was phenomenal. The shake had the perfect consistency and a strong chocolatey flavor, yet wasn't too sweet. And the cookies were nice and chewy and loaded with delicious chunks of nuts and chocolate. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between the nut and chocolate combo flavors as the oatmeal was really the highlight. The peanut butter one and oatmeal raisin were more recognizable. ALL of them were amazing!

Their menu is seriously impressive, with everything from coffee, smoothies, tea, and handspun milkshakes to savory lunch items like burgers, hot dogs, and wings, plus an incredible lineup of baked goodies including cookies, pie, cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, muffins, and more. I tried the sugar‑free dark chocolate goji berry gluten‑free cookie and WOW--it was delicious. The milkshakes are next‑level rich and creamy; my son couldn't get enough of his caramel shake. The savory lunch items looked so good coming out--perfect comfort‑food options that smelled amazing and made us immediately start planning our next visit. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient, which we really appreciated since it was our first time and we took a while to decide. This place has such a fun, cozy, welcoming vibe, and we are absolutely coming back to try the lunch menu next time. Highly recommend checking it out!

I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. Cannot wait for the next time that I'm in the area to grab more sweets!

This was my first stop, and I'm so glad it was. The café itself is absolutely charming--spacious, clean, and with plenty of seating. But what stood out immediately was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling. You can tell this is a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Despite the line, they were patient, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their coffee selection is wide but not overwhelming. . I went with the matcha latte with pistachio, which was well-balanced. When it came to food, I couldn't decide between my usual go-to (broccoli and cheese quiche) or the bacon, spinach, and cheddar--or even the tomato basil, which sounded amazing. I asked the barista/ server to choose for me, and she recommended the bacon, spinach, and cheddar. It did not disappoint. The crust was thick and perfectly done, and the filling was layered and flavorful--just incredible. I also ordered an ube muffin and was given a complimentary lemon tart (no complaints here!). The ube muffin was exactly what you'd hope for--lightly sweet with a delicate blend of vanilla, nutty notes, and a hint of coconut. The lemon tart was perfectly balanced--bright, slightly tart, and complemented beautifully by the whipped topping. Before leaving, I grabbed a loaf of sourdough to go. They even offered to slice it for me--small detail, big win. And I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I do not say this lightly: this is hands-down some of the best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco. Honestly worth the 45-minute drive just for that alone. I come from a background in the restaurant industry, and great service doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone here was attentive, kind, and truly invested in the experience they provide. The customer service alone is worth the visit. They so offer Panini's and daily soups.. Their menu changes daily. They also offer Louisiana hot sauce so someone knows what they're doing. I can't wait to bring my kids here next time. We will absolutely be back.
