Update 2025: The Donut Day signs brought me in but was disappointed there were no specials. I was hoping for a donut hole, discount, or a coupon for a return visit, but there was nothing so that was disappointing as a periodic customer, but a real missed opportunity should a new customer have been drawn in. Like I suggested years ago, a loyalty program would be so nice for a local spot like this. I had a very delicious croissantwich but wish they'd ditch styrofoam. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, but think it was a little off-day for the staff since there wasn't the warmer welcome and chit-chat I've experienced before. Decided to buy an old fashioned plain donut which I posed in front of the signs in honor of its special day. Signs say there are lotsa Boba drinks available too. read more

Small little place. Corner of the shopping center. Sign outside just says Daily Donut so should be easy to find. Finally got to try this place because of Too Good To Go. I got my order, but had to get a boba while here as well. Seems like they have a nice variety. I'd love to come here through when they are busy early on the morning. Service was great. It has been a few years since I've been in Peoria, so when we went hiking on a Saturday morning, I HAD to stop in. My photo is timestamped for 11:18am - the case was almost empty! Make sure you get there early if you want a wide variety to choose from, although, you literally can't go wrong. Every single donut is fresh and so so so good. When I went there last time after my doctor's appointment, boy now I know that the saying the early bird gets the worms because all the donuts were gone. The case was empty of donuts. The only thing left were a couple bagels, 3 croissant and a couple pastries with ham in them. The family owned business is thriving and has a steady clientele base. I've come to know the owners. They're very pleasant, hardworking and enterprising. Of you happen to wait long enough, they start is it baking another round of donuts. For the first time ever, I took home someKrum cake. Yummmmmy I'm my tummy. Plus my newly baked good old fashioned donuts. Patience is the key when you get here late. First time in today, and it was amazing. The staff were so nice and greeted me right away. I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was a 10 out of 10. I told all my co-workers and my kids about it. I will definitely be coming back to this place. They were fast and efficient, I was on my lunch break and was there for about 10 mins. Decided to try this spot out since it's right by my apartment and I'm so glad I did! It's run by a small family they're so cute and hardworking I can tell just from one visit. The couple working the counter serviced me right away, and were very friendly .All of the donuts looked very fresh and they had quite a selection. There's tons of different drinks you can order, the vanilla iced coffee was my go to. The cinnamon roll is delicious and it's a great size if you wanna have it for breakfast. If I had to choose one thing to order it would be the croissant breakfast sandwich I inhaled it! The croissant is so fresh and flaky she made my sandwich fresh. The staff was super friendly in allowing my little that were so excited to pick a donut. Of course it was their favorite of chocolate sprinkles but they did look at the strawberry frosting a few times when deciding. Done types were sold out as we went after 9am. Definitely go earlier in the morning for first pick. The bear claw was massive and stuffed with the apple cinnamon with a soft chewy donut texture. The chocolate donuts were a hit with the light fluffy chewy deliciousness. The apple fritter was a bit more crippling than the beat claw with a marbling of cinnamon apple throughout it. The insides small, no drive thru, but plenty of packing. They seem to have a large variety of drink on to of coffee and a few breakfast sandwiches. Definitely more of a grab and go than sit down dinner. Would definitely recommend trying. Especially if you like like supporting local businesses that have delicious treats. read more

My husband stumbled across Daily Donut while working and decided to stop in end of day that day. They have hours showing they close at 5 and he went in around 4:45. The owner was really friendly and while they didn't have a big selection left she offered him the rest of the donuts in the case for $6. He's a sucker and folded lol. Him and the kids loved and raved about how fluffy and good they were even being end of day. The owner mentioned nothing that is left over is used the next day. She comes in early every morning and makes all donuts fresh everyday. My husband wanted something sweet so we decided to stop in early morning. There are a few small tables to eat at, cases of fresh donuts, pastries, danishes, smoothies and other bottled drinks. We got a half dozen and a blueberry muffin. All of the donuts were fresh and soft. The muffin was delicious but it's a Costco muffin. I can't hate on that cause I love me a good Costco muffin but these are not made in house. Overall service was really friendly and quick and prices are cheap with a great product. I'm sure hubs or I will be back soon to grab treats. read more
