What's Fresh? - Food Truck Thursday…read more Holy crap! I'm not usually a cold sandwich type of guy for food truck Thursday but on the recommendation of a friend I had to try it. Warren, the executive chef and owner of What's Fresh?, crushed the competition today. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly smile, none other than the owners Mom. Yup, Warren's mother. This is the lady who makes the pickles for their sandwiches and wraps. I ordered the porktastic sandwich with the hope that it would be good. Unwrapping this meal I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of bread Warren uses for his sandwiches. The mustard used on it is the perfect complement to the fresh greens and pork. The explosion of flavors complimenting each other was absolutely awesome!!! Fresh tomato, a fresh mix of greens (baby spinach is always good with pork) and those pickles. Pickles! Crisp with a lot of flavor! I loved it! Just so you know, for the $8 you not only get the sandwich but a bag of chips and a drink. That's $2 less than any other food truck on the street. I guess fresher is better! While Warren and his wife Bonnie have only been working the food truck for 4 months, it is definitely a hit around here. Whether it's a sandwich or a wrap, it will always be fresh and delicious. If you get a chance to catch What's Fresh, make sure to tell Warren to ride his bike more often! Yes, he rides. In fact, he was proudly representing a local ride t-shirt. Support a local biker who uses locally sourced ingredients. Feed your face, and be good to one another. Grumpy PS. Ask for extra pickles!!! They are THAT good!

I've tried multiple things off there menu but I definitely recommend the birria ramen and potstickers ! However, the quesabirria and the noodle stir fry are also amazing. I can't count how many times we got it in a month. The places they pop-up at is also always presentable and a very nice ambiance. The cashier is always welcoming! Try it now! Trust me!

My food tasted like it came from a freezer and was warmed up. Some of the vegetables were actually rotten. I had to throw away my food. I ordered their chicken, vegetables with noodles. The noodles I think were spaghetti noddles! I kid you not. It was not a pleasant dish. I ended up having to throw it all away. The size portion of the food is great but quality and rotten food it was no good.. also my chicken tasted like a mixture of different meats. I have had their Mexican tacos and they are good!! I would recommend them. Service was good but it took a long time for me to get my food. Being a food truck I thought it would be a little faster. The drink was good. They offer Jarritos sodas, strawberry horchata, and Jamaica. The food truck itself appears clean. They accept card.

Who doesn't like hot dogs?…read more Mystery cuts of meat throw-away, sluiced & squeezed into a phallic form--in a way, it's Ouroboros of Man eating his own "tail" so to speak--that ancestral Gods would nod appreciatively to. With almost as much versatility as the wheel or Betty White ( love my Golden Girl ), hard to mess up & difficult to perfect, the Hot Dog is the under appreciated meal substitute to white linen dining. I had the signature Voodoo Dog, and if you've never had it for breakfast, give it a try sometime. Filling but not that thanksgiving kinda full when you feel the need to purge & pray. Saul ( Goodman? ), the guy knows his market, good product and the way to return business is customer service. Hit all points. When you're just craving a Voodoo Dog, you know who you need to call: Better Call Saul.

We both got the Voodoo Dog - the combination of the spicy bourbon sauce and cucumber relish was amazing! My only wish is that the bun would have been a little more toasted because with all the stuff on it, the bun got a little soggy. Overall, we're both excited to try more of their hot dogs. Edit: Went here again to try a different hot dog. I got the Hawaiian Kona dog and, as I mentioned before, I wish the buns were more toasted. Because of the pineapple and toppings on this one, when I tried to pick the hot dog up to eat it (less than a minute after receiving it), the bun squished and basically disintegrated into a soppy mess. I ended up basically just eating the hot dog and toppings. I'd probably go with just a plain dog from now on with maybe just some ketchup and mustard.
