These were the sweetest workers ever, I stopped in right before close and got the brown sugar latte and the pork tamale. Both were fantastic! I definitely see why this place is 5 stars. I found this coffee shop while searching for some outside of our normal bubble. It had really high ratings so i decided to check it out. Their bourbon brown sugar latte is what got me in the door. Upon arrival, it was, unfortunately, out of stock. I ended up getting a Honeycomb Toffee latte without the chocolate drizzle. It was too sweet for me. I wasn't able to get a good grasp on the quality of the coffee. I also ordered a cinnamon roll, which was good, but lacked the cinnamon. I regret not asking for it to be warmed up. While the drink may not have been my speed, the service was excellent, everyone seemed to be happy to be there. The baristas were talkative and lively. I look forward to hopefully trying the bourbon brown sugar latte someday! read more

I really loved the atmosphere and location of this shop, but the drinks weren't really our speed. I ordered a plain iced matcha, no sweetener or flavor so I could really judge the latte by itself. Unfortunately, it just tasted like milk and it was too light of a green color. I do appreciate that it was well mixed, no clumps or bitterness. I saw the option to add an extra scoop of matcha, but that was +$2 which is a little steep when the latte itself is already $7. We also ordered the cinnamon roll, which was delicious, but definitely a misleading description. The yeast bread in this roll was incredible- tender and sweet. As for the cinnamon part, there was none and when you unrolled the bun there was practically no filling aside from the raisins. read more

WOW is what comes to mind. Not only is their coffee amazing but the staff are incredibly kind. I don't order coffee a lot because I'm always disappointed because they are usually too sweet or too milky and this place knows how to make a coffee. I love the rich taste of coffee with hints of sweetness and they nailed it. Plus we went when the shop was about to close so we were given a couple pastries which never happens anywhere else. I really love the Honey Comb Toffee Chocolate ice coffee -it's not too sweet , and absolutely delicious. I haven't tried the Matcha yet, but I've heard from other customers that it's very good, so I'm looking forward to trying it soon. They have sweet and savory, and literally everything I've tried is so good. Especially the (vegan) chorizo and feta. The drinks are all SO GOOD. They use Xanadu coffee (which I love), and they also have non-coffee options. They also will do drinks in kids sizes, so our LOs can get a flavored lemonade. The staff and owner are the absolute nicest people, so helpful, so friendly, and so patient when I can't make up my mind lol. Also, they have a little patio outside and a lawn that is perfect for when it's not insanely hot outside. This is my absolute favorite coffee house in the valley. This place is so cute and cozy, I love the little neighborhood it's nestled in. I follow Homage Coffee on IG and for the longest have wanted to check them out, but do not live close at all. They make their own syrups and baked goods, and they use local beans from Xanadu...yum! What's not to love! Very cute little coffee shop! Definitely one of the few places that make their matcha lattes actually taste like matcha and not purely just milk. Their little danishes are so cute and good definitely affordable as well. Not to mention they sell tamales which are great! Costumer service was welcoming and friendly. I enjoy coming to the coffee shop. But I feel when the owner isn't around things don't flow. Arrived Saturday at 7:00 am which is the time it should be open. One of the girls came Around the back just to grab her Uber eats and said they were still getting ready to open and left around the back again. We waited 25 min and nothing. 2 cops arrived to order coffee and city worker and a lady that works at a hair salon we all six left because it was 7:25 and it was still closed. That's my only issue with this little shop. Incredibly friendly from the get go. The barista offered a few suggestions while they packed the front case with the best turnover I've ever had fresh from the oven. Had an awesome experience this morning at Homage coffee house. This is a newly opened plant based coffee spot. I am not vegan however, I love food and coffee and love trying new spots. This is a family owned spot and Mike served up our coffee today. I ordered a stroopwaffle iced latte, caramel and white mocha latte, vegan strawberry donut and a freshly baked still warm vegan chocolate chip cookie. Prices are on par with other shops oh, and you get a discount for paying with cash! Both lattes had a smooth flavor and not bitter at all. The flavors in both were subtle and super tasty! The strawberry donut was not dry and it was such a cute little mini donut. The chocolate chip cookie was still warm from the oven and I would've had no idea everything was vegan! It was so good!! Definitely give this spot a try. They have only been open a few weeks and I'll happily give my money to a small business any day of the week that knows their products. Look. I've drank a lot of coffee. I appreciate that your likes and tastes differ from mine; probably even moreso when it comes to matters of the heart like how you take your morning hit of caffeine. But the Xanadu beans on offer here deserve your attention. I literally felt the quality and the kick from first sip until the last. What's even more interesting is that you can have this kick in an Americano for just $3. You know what that is? 50 cents cheaper than a tall Starbucks. The difference? Quality beans. Let me scream that in your face a second . qUaLiTy BeAnS that will melt your face into submission and lead to to ask yourself if you're having an outer body caffeine experience. I absolutely love matcha so I was really excited to get the CinnaMatcha latte! It was so yummy, I had it witch oat milk which is their default. The pastries looked good too and I liked that they were selling some little locally made things too. Super nice baristas and my drink was ready quickly. Homage Coffee House is doing it right. From the moment I exited my car I was impressed. The location is easy to find, sits on a cute little lot, well kept, visible with its bright yellow paint and not overdone with fancy signage and extra things to take away from Old Towns character. One of the reasons it's great is the old home it sits in. There are a few tables out front to enjoy the weather as well as more inside. When I walked in I was greeted by not one, but three wonderful women, smiles and all. Impressive! Today was my first ever visit and that was a great first impression for me. For those of you don't know this coffee shop is vegan and cruelty free. They make all of their strips in house. They just opened a second location in Litchfield Park of that may be closer to some of you. I'm not vegan and have started to learn that there are some pretty great options. I'm still learning what I love, but always excited to try new things. I talked with one of the girls about what she loved and such and decided to go with her favorite which was a agave, cinnamon powder latte which I got iced. My son who typically only likes blended items went with the honeycomb,toffee, chocolate latte iced because they don't do blended drinks. My eyes quickly went t directly to a cherry turnover. Both drinks were a 16oz, but once I got mine I wished id picked 24oz because it was phenomenal. Both drinks looked delicious. My son said he wasn't as much of a fan, but again he only typically gets blended and he likes his drinks way too overdone. So I did him a favor and drank that too ha ha ha. Both drinks for so smooth. No acidic tastes. No heavy syrups lingering and I really enjoyed them. The barista explained before I ordered that her go to has more of a coffee flavor which is what I wanted while the honeycomb latte is on the sweeter side. She was on point with both. I think the agave cinnamon latte is now one of my top favorites out of all the coffee I've drank in my life. We all know that's a high bar lol. I'm typically a cold brew drinker, but was looking for something new today. They get their beans from Xanadu which you can buy for home brewing yourself. The inside seating is split between multiple rooms in the shop, again this is an old home and they've left a lot as is. It's bright inside and the minimalist decor was great. This was my second time at this location! I absolutely love the atmosphere here. Very peaceful and modern yet it has this homey type vibe! Feels like having a cup of coffee or tea at a friend's I love the Elderberry Hibiscus tea, it's so refreshing. This time I tried one of the pastries unfortunately I can't remember the name of it but it was bussin, hit the spot! There's a small patio area out front so when it's nice out you can sit outside and enjoy. The chairs/seating however can be slightly uncomfortable but it's typically not a place you'd stay long so I think they're just fine for what they are! This is the perfect spot to do a little reading or get some studying in. The owner is very nice and each time I've been in he has a smile and a very positive attitude!
