An awesome local coffee shop! I stopped in for a morning coffee on the way to a conference- was met with an amazing, not overly sweet, protein packed "shaker" coffee. The service was fast and friendly, a great place to pop in for coffee with a friend or get some work done

Continently located in the Phoenix Convention Center near Symphony Hall, this locally owned coffee shop is fast and delicious! Should the line get too long from conference goers, they have another location one block away on Van Buren. I've been coming here since it's opening and have always had great coffee and snacks served by friendly baristas who always look like their having a good time. The renovation from the previous tenant (Starbucks) offers a fresh, modern, and grounding environment. Perfect for a quick drink or workspace. I always hit up Press when I'm in the convention center!

Cappuccino (sorry took a drink before shooting this, it looked even better).

This place is waaaaaaay better than any convention center coffee shop has any right to be. Staff was super friendly, and they made me an awesome cappuccino in a ceramic cup instead of paper which just doesn't work for this drink. Espresso is nice, not bitter but smooth with just the right touch of sweetness.

This coffee place is on the West Side of the Convention Center (and even connects inside) and was a non-crowded option in comparison to the line at the coffee place inside the convention center. The girl working took my order and took quite a while to make my hot mocha coffee. However, it was absolutely delicious and delivered with a smile. I can't imagine the 1 worker spitting out cup after cup of coffee in the convention center would even come close. This is convenient if you're walking to the convention center from the Hyatt or the Renaissance hotel. Stop here as it was better than Starbucks!

Was recommended the Espresso Honey Cinnamon and a cherry pastry. So good. This is Ado

Great coffee and staff were great. Friendly and answered any questions we had. The shop is a little place, woth just a couple tables and chairs. But the taste of the coffee is large!

Press always is a 5 star in my opinion. Stopped in for a pick me up mid day while downtown PHX. I tried a latte with almond milk. A This location is noticeably smaller than other locations but just as delicious.

If you want coffee, this spot is solid along with some delicious breakfast items. I really enjoyed the honey vanilla shaker latte with oat milk. What is lacking is comfortable seating. Nothing inside that works and outside is just okay

Fast friendly service. Clean. Good prices. Organic tasting. Tried the matcha latte and iced matcha. If you like the drinks sweet, you have to sweeten yourself with sugar packets, unlike the big coffee chains. The establishment is connected to the Civic Center.

The theme is (as one might suspect) songbirds and the entire Cafe is decorated with small songbird items. As a detail oriented person, I was in heaven noticing all the cute decorations. I ordered the matcha latte and it did not disappoint. My friend ordered an iced americano. Both are classic items and they delivered well. There is plenty of seating inside and outside (weather permitting) and it seems like it would be a peaceful place to study or work. The baristas were sweet and patient and helpful with the menu.

Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

Futuro currently takes the cake for my favorite coffee shop in Phoenix currently…read more I've tried their matcha two ways: 1. as an iced latte, unsweetened. The first time I ordered it unsweetened was accidental, but trying it without sweetener or flavor was what made me realize that their matcha may be the best I've ever had. I've also had their Mas matcha latte and it is also absolutely delicious and simple and still allows me to taste the matcha through the vanilla and sweetness. I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. For working from home, they do have wifi but limited outlets. Their pastries served from a local bakery are also delicious.

I'm currently hooked on the Cafe de Olla, a gorgeous blend of sugar and spice that's topped with a star anise pod that enhances the aroma with every sip. But virtually every menu item -- honorable mention to the Cajeta -- is balanced and well crafted. The baristas are all very knowledgeable about their teas, as well. I've recently been SO hooked by their semi-new weekend pastry artist, Ghita, who crafts such unique desserts. Most recently, I tried their absolutely FIRE black sesame craquelin with a mildly sweet tahini cream. The rhubarb cream pastry was also gorgeous and creative. Futuro as a space is intentionally designed as well, with plenty of seating on both sides, boutique goods for sale, and great reads. It's the perfect place to read a book and chill on weekends. And the staff, even when busy, seem to always perfectly serve each order and efficiently clear out plates. Officially my favorite coffee shop 1000% now.

The ambiance, drinks, and service were all great! There is an entrance to Lola Coffee from Roosevelt and another from the back near parking spaces. There is a restroom near the back entrance, and the start to the line to place an order is right near the front entrance. I saw in one of the comfy chairs while I waited for my former student to arrive. At that point, we moved to a regular table and then went and ordered drinks. She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a lemonade. We both enjoyed our drinks which were ready very quickly. There were smaller and larger tables, and there were also countertops along with business cards and marketing items at the back of the room on a thin table. Lola Coffee began with humble beginnings going back to 1992 with a cart, then Lux Coffee, and eventually Lola Coffee downtown. Now, there is even a second Lola Coffee location in Arcadia near 40th Street and Indian School. Today, they serve coffee, pastries, and breakfast. The Downtown Phoenix location hours are weekdays from 6:30 AM to 7 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM. You can see their menu, history, photos, and more on their website (https://lolacoffeebarphx.com). While I had trouble choosing between a lemonade for a cold beverage or hot chocolate for a warm beverage, it's great they have so many options. Again, try them for drinks, breakfast, or pastries. Their staff is so helpful and the actual restaurant is quite welcoming to everyone.
