We absolutely love Window At The Royale. It has become a staple in our Sunday routine. My fiancé always gets the Marshmallow Latte (a fun little secret menu gem if you know to ask for it ) and I rotate between the Chaga Mushroom Latte and my new obsession, the Protein Collagen Latte. ***This is now my Sunday morning go-to coffee shop*** The coffee is so smooth, well-made and sumptuous. I always get an Americano, but there is just so much variety in coffee and teas available that there's something for everyone. My prior review irked ever so slightly at the food price point, but in all sincerity, it's every penny well spent IMO. I tried both of the avocado on toasts and the Nutella and pistachio on toast, AND the fresh jalapeño and cheese bagel. The bread and bagels are so fresh and delicious. There's love in that there food. That's the difference between this exemplary business and the large coffee chains of the City. Also a word on the service. It's ALWAYS friendly, engaging, welcoming and on-point. I love the art work on the walls, and even the awesomely designed tray protector paper. (I want to take a batch home and color them in lolz). Every little detail has been considered and executed to help create a vibe that just resonates peeefectly. Thgis is why the Window Coffee Bar deserves to be in the top 100 coffee shops in America on Yelp. It deserves your patronage. Just be sure to leave a seat for me in your rush to go get it. read more

I love Window Coffee Bar! The staff here is so awesome, and so is the service. It's got a cool chic vibe inside, perfect for catching up on some work, or to hang with friends. I purchased a Lavender Vanilla Latte and a Raspberry Prickly Pear Pop Tart because I had to support this small local business, plus sis had a craving, lol. The items paired well together, and I like that they have an array of menu items to choose from. They even have a drive-thru if you're in a rush. What I gathered from other reviews is that this used to be a bank. I can definitely see it. There is parking around the building, but the few spots in front are a bit awkward. The prices are fair, and the staff will happily accommodate your requests to the best of their abilities. I will come back for sure, and you should stop in if you haven't already. I was actually on my way to a different place altogether, realized that I had not yet caffeinated for the day, and spotted the word COFFEE on their sign - so figured I'd give it a try. SO GLAD I DID. The cashier, Fernando(?), or Ferdinand(? I feel bad I didn't remember his name ) was/is so welcoming and helpful- and patient when I got overwhelmed with all the GOOD drink/food choices! I ended up with a Burnt Crème oat milk latte and Avocado Toast with Micro Greens, Tomatoes, and Chili Flakes. On Point! The patio has 3 tables with chairs and bar seating. There seems to be plenty space inside for study, work, doom scrolling, or conversation. I live in Mesa, but will definitely come back here when I'm the area! read more

Walking in takes you into a different more laid back vibe with cozy couches, workspace, fun art and more. Of course h theirs a drive thru, but it's so much more fun if you have the time to go inside. I ordered quite a few drinks since I had three others with me. We'd just ate so no food unfortunately, but we're already planning for next time. We ordered a vanilla matcha sweetened , strawberry lemonade, ube taro and an iced chai. I of course had to pick up a few of their cute stickers. Service was very friendly, efficient and fast! I could not believe how quick they had everything out considering they were pretty busy. Walked in, good vibes and good music. People talking or working on their laptops. Groups from 1 up to 4 scattered around the shop. Two tables outside so not much outdoor seating. The staff was really nice!! Very welcoming! I got the decaf Burnt Crème latte . It was okay (but TAKE MY COFFEE REVIEW WITH A GRAIN OF SALT), I don't normally drink coffee and I've never had decaf. Outside of the flavor, it taste like they built the drink AND THEN added ice (so only liquid at top is cold) but when I worked in the shop, we built it over the ice (however I know the expresso makes the ice melt which can make drink more watery) so who knows. I've been here twice now! The first time I got the burnt cream latte and it was very subtle and not super sweet - it surprised me so it was okay at first, especially because everyone raves about this flavor and I think I expected an immediate WOW. But the drink grew on me the more I had it. I do appreciate less sweet drinks because I need less sugary drink. My sister had the lucky charms latte and thought it was just alright, it didn't really remind her of lucky charms except for the few lucky charms topping the drink. My mom really liked her marshmallow latte! We all got oat milk. We also got the gf blueberry lime pop tart... this was heaven. Thank you for having a gluten free baked good option! There was so much filling and it was fresh blueberries. Would have even loved it more if I toasted it slightly first, omg. Came a second time for the year opening anniversary where they had 2 drink limit per person and they had $1 drinks... insane. My friend and I both got the cookie macchiato latte and ube latte with oat milk. Once again I was surprised at how the drinks weren't overpowering with sweetness. I'm not sure it's my all time favorite but I think I'm used to too sweet drinks so this is a nice option! And they don't charge extra for alternate milk, that's so nice and I'm so here for it. This is one of my favorite local spots close to work. They have some of the nicest people in the city working there, and it's always super pleasant to visit. I like the selection of drinks they have. There are a bunch of flavored sweet drinks for most people, but they have a few options that are not terribly sweet. I usually go for the chaga drink, which has a nice, earthy flavor with minimal sweetness, but seeing on my last visit they have ceremonial matcha, I went with that. I love a matcha that is barely sweet, just taking the sweetness from the milk. They did a great job with this match. I do wish they would not charge extra for non-dairy milk, but I get that is still the standard at most coffee shops still. read more

Their Camelback location is bright and welcoming in both decor and staff. I was greeted with smiles, and the smiles continued through the ordering and again as they brought my order out to me. On the food menu, there are pastries, avo toast, salads, and sandwiches. It's a fun spot to sit and read, study, or meet a friend. I love a place with plenty of seating but also close enough to chat with strangers. I met a fellow reader, and we chatted about book recommendations before each turning back to our own books. Lots of good options here! It can get kind of pricey if you want to order food and coffee but that's any cafe now. I really love the bagels! If you like a crunchy bagel, this is the place for you. I order the jalapeño cheddar bagel with cream cheese and I love that it has salt encrusted in it. The prickly pear tart was also super good. The fan favorite coffee in our household is the burnt cream. The place itself is really nicely decorated and a great place to sit with friends or just go chill. Service is really friendly even through drive thru. They'll do events every now and then too. We enjoyed the $2 coffee day for their second anniversary semi-recently and I've seen them do art markets. read more

YUMMM!! I've been to window once prior, and it was at their other location and years ago. Todays experience was incredible! Upon entry I was personally greeted with kindness and a smile. I went for the mushroom latte which was delicious!! (Minimal sweetness) I also got the prickly pear pop tart - another Oh wow, this is good. My husband came along and he got the lavender vanilla latte and the fruit danish. Okay y'all. DO NOT SLEEP on that fruit danish. We both had a few bites and it was absolutely incredible. I could see us driving over just for the danish. All the employees were friendly, kind and extremely helpful! Service was SPEEDY! They had a few tables outside, a nice long high top bar for those who want to work or do homework, a long table, some smaller tables and then a nice seating area to just chat with a friend or two. Ube latte with almond milk- not too sweet, not a lot of Ube flavor. I do love Ube, but my drink was lacking in flavor. Kinda like just a purple milk. Probably would not get it again. Biggest had an iced green tea, thought the flavor was too strong. I thought it had a nice flavor to it, it was a little more earthy in flavor than she was probably used to. Mini loved her raspberry lemonade, and would definitely get it again. It was pretty good. It's a little sweet for me, but I also don't drink much lemonade so the sugar level was probably just fine. The cinnamon rolls. Omg. If you're wondering if you should get them? Yassss. When I pulled it out of the paper, I was like, this is either gonna be really good or really bad. No in between. The frosting wasn't thick and fluffy, but more like a little glaze. However, both of them loved the cinnamon rolls. They had the right amount of cinnamon, great texture. The inside was soft and fluffy, and they are a perfect breakfast treat. The jalapeno cheddar bagel has less jalapeno flavor than I anticipated, so if you're worried about spice levels, it mostly tastes like cheddar. It was a great bagel. The outside had a nice crust, the dough has a great chew to it. If I lived closer I'd get more bagels there and I wished I got more than one. So good. The prickly pear tart was cute. Did I love it? Nah. Would I get it again? Also no. The dough was okay. The filling was mediocre imo. It needed something to brighten it up. Like maybe a hint of lime, or a bit of lemon. If I was going to make those, I'd make a "prickly pear lime" and include lime curd. So would I be back? Yeah if I was in the area. read more

the selling point of window coffee bar is for SURE their service! of the few times i have come here, the staff is so accommodating and kind, always going the extra mile to ask if i need anything extra. the interior of this location is very modern and bright, it feels clean and breezy. the avocado toast is always yummy, and the coffee has been great! today i got the matcha latte, and i don't think it was personally my favorite - i paid a little extra for the ceremonial grade (making the drink $9, so definitely on the pricier side) and after mixing the drink it was kind of pale and tasted mostly of milk and sweetener. i will stick to the coffee next time, just because it wasn't my preference for a matcha latte. otherwise, a lovely visit and i will definitely be coming back! read more

Unreasonable hospitality. EVERYONE working there went above & beyond. Even though there was about 10 other customers in the shop, it felt like it was just my wife & our son. I walked out of there wanting to give these hard working folks a 5 star review, because they earned it. My wife bought the turkey sandwich, which I thought would be some little 6 bite sammy. Nope, it was a full sized sandwich that I luckily ate the second half to because she couldn't :) I got the collagen coffee and it was my first time ordering it. The barista told me how he likes it, then another barista suggested I get it mixed with the Chaga mushroom. I took they're suggestions and they made a BOMB coffee drink that wasn't too sweet and exactly what I was looking for. They were crazy fast. Our drinks were delivered to our table within 2 minutes after ordering them and the sandwich within 5. They offered us water as we left, because it's hotter than hell out there. read more

Let me preface this by saying, I am not a coffee drinker, it is never my first choice of beverage, it isn't even my top five! Now, this morning I had an unexpected invite to this "window coffee place" and since I had the open availability in my schedule and was needing to continue my meeting with my client, it was only a five minute drive, so sure why not. Thinking no biggie I can grab something small, and if I don't like it no sweat off my back its a "work" meeting. So I enter this small coffee establishment, the lighting was bright, the decor was pleasing, and the smell was delicious. I look at the menu and immediately see "cookie machiatto" and so I figure sure why not, grabbed a small (again not a coffee drinker) I let the wonderful gentleman behind the counter know "I like all the Carmel drinks". So he lets me know if I need it sweeter to just let them know they can add more. So I sit down, but started chatting for a good 10 minutes before I take my first sip! Let me tell you, my eyes were huge I immediately said loud enough for the two gentlemen behind the counter to hear, "oh my god this is delicious and I hate coffee". Seriously, I cannot sing the praises of this place loud enough. The flavor was smooth, sweet, with only the slight "bitter" coffee taste. It was fresh, creamy, the only negative I can say is I wish I would have gotten a large!!! I drank the entire thing, did not leave a drop! This is the perfect place for experienced coffee drinkers, the occasional coffee drinker, and the newbie!!! I will definitely be back, will get a large, and maybe try one of their other treats that sell. This place just might make a coffee drinker out of me yet!!! I got a black tea with strawberry, my husband got an iced latte of some sort, and then we got the avocado toast & a pastry to share. I had to go ask for additional syrup because my black tea didn't taste like it had any sweetener; even after they added more, it wasn't good. I only had a couple sips total. The avocado toast was good, but it's a bit difficult to mess that up. The danish was also good, it had some citrus in the middle. My husband said his coffee was just ok. Overall, if you're looking for a place to hang out, this seems like a good spot. Lots of people meeting with friends & hanging out on the weekend. They were pretty quick in getting orders out but did forget about our danish, so I had to go back to ask for it. I'm probably not likely to come back. read more

It was just average. The raspberry prickly pear poptart was the star of the show! The crust was flaky, not too hard or soft, not too buttery, just PERFECT. And the amount of filling was great.
