When you walk into a coffee shop for the first time, so many different things can happen, but this morning when we walked into the Window Coffee Bar we were greeted with the most friendly staff who were legitimately happy we were there. They walked us through the menu, provided us with several different recommendations, and immediately offered pup cups for our two dogs, what could be better?!? Well, that the actual coffee and food was incredible. We each ordered an iced Chaga Latte, and it was so unexpected and delicious. Without the super helpful and friendly staff, I would never have thought to try the Chaga mushroom latte. But it was great!! We also ordered a bagel with cream cheese and an avocado toast. I've been here twice now! The first time I got the burnt cream latte and it was very subtle and not super sweet - it surprised me so it was okay at first, especially because everyone raves about this flavor and I think I expected an immediate WOW. But the drink grew on me the more I had it. I do appreciate less sweet drinks because I need less sugary drink. My sister had the lucky charms latte and thought it was just alright, it didn't really remind her of lucky charms except for the few lucky charms topping the drink. My mom really liked her marshmallow latte! We all got oat milk. We also got the gf blueberry lime pop tart... this was heaven. Thank you for having a gluten free baked good option! There was so much filling and it was fresh blueberries. Would have even loved it more if I toasted it slightly first, omg. Came a second time for the year opening anniversary where they had 2 drink limit per person and they had $1 drinks... insane. My friend and I both got the cookie macchiato latte and ube latte with oat milk. Once again I was surprised at how the drinks weren't overpowering with sweetness. I'm not sure it's my all time favorite but I think I'm used to too sweet drinks so this is a nice option! And they don't charge extra for alternate milk, that's so nice and I'm so here for it. Whoever the Tom Selleck/Omni man mustache guy working the counter was rude as hell. My friend ordered a coffee, black, medium. He must get asked for a medium alot. Cause right off the bat with attitude. He said with a tone "We only have small or large!" Went with the small. I ordered and Americano. Usually when i go to a place the first time. I always tell the people behind the counter to make it how it was intended for here. Because if this place is #1 in the valley for coffee, i want to try it before i start telling them to add this or that. So I'm assuming if i asked for an Americano, it'll just be made. He gives me look and says with a tone "hot or iced?" I said "oh my bad. Iced please." Then after I pick my size cup. He looks at me asking me how would I like it. I tell him just how it's supposed to be, no modifications. Just your basic Americano. Now he gives me a look with his arms out and he says all snarky "you want 2% in it?" I said "that's fine." I paid for the drinks. And when I said "thank you." He didn't even bother to look up from whatever he was cleaning to barely say "you're welcome." The look of the place and the music they were playing was cool. I tried to sit an enjoy my coffee. But I was irritated with the service so I left. Maybe I will go try that place another day. Service is super friendly. Good vibes. People seemed pretty chill. The inside is cute. We wanted to try a bunch of stuff. 3 drinks, 4 pastries is about $40. Ube latte with almond milk- not too sweet, not a lot of Ube flavor. I do love Ube, but my drink was lacking in flavor. Kinda like just a purple milk. Probably would not get it again. Biggest had an iced green tea, thought the flavor was too strong. I thought it had a nice flavor to it, it was a little more earthy in flavor than she was probably used to. Mini loved her raspberry lemonade, and would definitely get it again. It was pretty good. It's a little sweet for me, but I also don't drink much lemonade so the sugar level was probably just fine. The cinnamon rolls. Omg. If you're wondering if you should get them? Yassss. When I pulled it out of the paper, I was like, this is either gonna be really good or really bad. No in between. The frosting wasn't thick and fluffy, but more like a little glaze. However, both of them loved the cinnamon rolls. They had the right amount of cinnamon, great texture. The inside was soft and fluffy, and they are a perfect breakfast treat. The jalapeno cheddar bagel has less jalapeno flavor than I anticipated, so if you're worried about spice levels, it mostly tastes like cheddar. It was a great bagel. The outside had a nice crust, the dough has a great chew to it. If I lived closer I'd get more bagels there and I wished I got more than one. So good. The prickly pear tart was cute. Did I love it? Nah. Would I get it again? Also no. The dough was okay. The filling was mediocre imo. It needed something to brighten it up. Like maybe a hint of lime, or a bit of lemon. If I was going to make those, I'd make a "prickly pear lime" and include lime curd. So would I be back? Yeah if I was in the area. read more

It's easy to see why Window Coffee bar is a favorite. They not only won our local Best-of-the-Valley for coffee drive-thru, but they also rank #6 on Yelp's best coffee in the nation! Their Camelback location is bright and welcoming in both decor and staff. I was greeted with smiles, and the smiles continued through the ordering and again as they brought my order out to me. On the food menu, there are pastries, avo toast, salads, and sandwiches. It's a fun spot to sit and read, study, or meet a friend. I love a place with plenty of seating but also close enough to chat with strangers. I met a fellow reader, and we chatted about book recommendations before each turning back to our own books. YUMMM!! I've been to window once prior, and it was at their other location and years ago. Todays experience was incredible! Upon entry I was personally greeted with kindness and a smile. I went for the mushroom latte which was delicious!! (Minimal sweetness) I also got the prickly pear pop tart - another Oh wow, this is good. My husband came along and he got the lavender vanilla latte and the fruit danish. Okay y'all. DO NOT SLEEP on that fruit danish. We both had a few bites and it was absolutely incredible. I could see us driving over just for the danish. All the employees were friendly, kind and extremely helpful! Service was SPEEDY! They had a few tables outside, a nice long high top bar for those who want to work or do homework, a long table, some smaller tables and then a nice seating area to just chat with a friend or two. Not sure I understand all the hype about this coffee shop. We stopped by Window Coffee Bar while we were in Phoenix for a couple other things. I got a black tea with strawberry, my husband got an iced latte of some sort, and then we got the avocado toast & a pastry to share. I had to go ask for additional syrup because my black tea didn't taste like it had any sweetener; even after they added more, it wasn't good. I only had a couple sips total. The avocado toast was good, but it's a bit difficult to mess that up. The danish was also good, it had some citrus in the middle. My husband said his coffee was just ok. Overall, if you're looking for a place to hang out, this seems like a good spot. Lots of people meeting with friends & hanging out on the weekend. They were pretty quick in getting orders out but did forget about our danish, so I had to go back to ask for it. I'm probably not likely to come back. read more

I was actually on my way to a different place altogether, realized that I had not yet caffeinated for the day, and spotted the word COFFEE on their sign - so figured I'd give it a try. SO GLAD I DID. The cashier, Fernando(?), or Ferdinand(? I feel bad I didn't remember his name ) was/is so welcoming and helpful- and patient when I got overwhelmed with all the GOOD drink/food choices! I ended up with a Burnt Crème oat milk latte and Avocado Toast with Micro Greens, Tomatoes, and Chili Flakes. On Point! The patio has 3 tables with chairs and bar seating. Ube, Matcha, Chai oh my! @windowcoffeebar is most definitely a love language! I'm typically a go to Cold Brew lover, but with this amazing menu I had to try something different for sure. Walking in takes you into a different more laid back vibe with cozy couches, workspace, fun art and more. Of course h theirs a drive thru, but it's so much more fun if you have the time to go inside. I ordered quite a few drinks since I had three others with me. We'd just ate so no food unfortunately, but we're already planning for next time. We ordered a vanilla matcha sweetened , strawberry lemonade, ube taro and an iced chai. I of course had to pick up a few of their cute stickers. Service was very friendly, efficient and fast! I could not believe how quick they had everything out considering they were pretty busy. The staff was really nice!! Very welcoming! I got the decaf Burnt Crème latte . It was okay (but TAKE MY COFFEE REVIEW WITH A GRAIN OF SALT), I don't normally drink coffee and I've never had decaf. Outside of the flavor, it taste like they built the drink AND THEN added ice (so only liquid at top is cold) but when I worked in the shop, we built it over the ice (however I know the expresso makes the ice melt which can make drink more watery) so who knows. This is one of my favorite local spots close to work. They have some of the nicest people in the city working there, and it's always super pleasant to visit. I like the selection of drinks they have. There are a bunch of flavored sweet drinks for most people, but they have a few options that are not terribly sweet. I usually go for the chaga drink, which has a nice, earthy flavor with minimal sweetness, but seeing on my last visit they have ceremonial matcha, I went with that. I love a matcha that is barely sweet, just taking the sweetness from the milk. They did a great job with this match. I do wish they would not charge extra for non-dairy milk, but I get that is still the standard at most coffee shops still. read more

This coffee shop is sooo cute and everything on their menu sounds amazing. The cute décor / aesthetic is what drew me in after I came across their social media page. We arrived in the evening time and they had a pretty busy lobby. There was no one in line though so we were helped right away. The cashier was very friendly and she told us what their top ordered drinks were. I decided on a small iced burnt crème latte and was recommended that I get it with Almond milk. I also ordered a brown sugar pop tart to snack on. My sister had a small iced cinnamon vanilla late and a rasberry pop tart. We paid about $14 each. The drinks were made speedy fast and the barista who made them was very friendly. He even walked my sisters drink over to where I was sitting, thank you. The rasberry pop tart was sooo good and not too sweet. The brown sugar one though, was super sweet and I didn't like it. The lattes were nothing special. My brunt crème latte tasted very watered down and it didn't taste any different than just a plain black coffee. My sisters complain about her drink was that it just tasted like water with a ton of cinnamon. She couldn't find the coffee taste nor vanilla flavoring. I will definitely give them another try but I will for sure not be back for the burnt crème latte. They have plenty of other drinks that sound good. We got home and didn't even finish our drinks... Trendy little coffee spot with unique signature drinks and treats! They have some inside and outside sitting areas so you can chill while you enjoy your drinks. I tried the burnt creme latte (their take on a creme brulee) and it was yummy! Balanced, flavorful and the right level of sweetness. They must use an oat milk that's thinner than other spots I'm used to..no big deal. I had them bookmarked for a while and saw they recently made #6 on the Yelp top 25 coffee spots in the US list..so had to make my way in! The vibe of the space is retro and fun and its such a pleasure when I get to pop in! They also offer Lotus energy drinks if you are looking for something a tad bit more refreshing. They have rotating flavors and the energy drinks are easy to customize. I also LOVE their lavender lemonade, especially on those toastier desert days. Next, the food! Their pastries are AMAZING. the selling point of window coffee bar is for SURE their service! of the few times i have come here, the staff is so accommodating and kind, always going the extra mile to ask if i need anything extra. the interior of this location is very modern and bright, it feels clean and breezy. the avocado toast is always yummy, and the coffee has been great! today i got the matcha latte, and i don't think it was personally my favorite - i paid a little extra for the ceremonial grade (making the drink $9, so definitely on the pricier side) and after mixing the drink it was kind of pale and tasted mostly of milk and sweetener. i will stick to the coffee next time, just because it wasn't my preference for a matcha latte. otherwise, a lovely visit and i will definitely be coming back! read more
