I got a "matcha chill" and it was gritty and tasted like heavy cream and the matcha was completely flavorless despite ordering it with oat milk and my sister got a half sweet vanilla latte and they didn't make it half sweet (unless their half is our regular) and it was bad as far as lattes go. We didn't order food but they food others ordered looked pretty good. Would not return but might be an ok lunch spot. read more

Tried this place for the first time today and my husband and I loved it! Fresh baked desserts - so many choices! We had the cherry crumble and it was perfect! One of my favorite coffee shops! Their menu is huge and there is something for everyone. SO many sweet treats to choose from as well! Drinks: My favorite is the iced lavender latte. It's the best in town! The prices are pretty good for the size of the drink you get. Food: the ABLT truly is the "best in phoenix"! The portion was huge and the mayonnaise on it made the sandwich! I ordered it with the side of potato salad. Delicious. Will be getting it again. My main piece of feedback is consistency in the service. Sometimes I go and have great service and my order is exactly what I want. The last two times I went, my drink was wrong OR it took over 35 minutes to get my drink (not an exaggeration). Once I got my drink I had already finished my food, but my order was correct and good. This coffee should would be top tier if they figured out their service hiccups. Every time I'm in Arizona I have to go to Cortado BC coffee shop! I spend time searching out the best espresso drinks and food and I've found it plus the customer service is amazing! Anayeli is a fantastic barista, extremely hard-working, knowledgeable with a positive attitude! If you're looking for something decadent, they have wonderful pastries and if you want protein, there's great burritos and my favorite is the avocado toast the honey chili with a fried egg on top! read more

The restaurant is too small and their menu is too busy. The chai tea tastes like cream and not enough chai in it.. the crème brulle wasn't as creamy .. it was more of a flan texture. Wow, wow, wow. Coffee, food, and treats galore!!!!! They have a MASSIVE holiday drink menu, tons of food options, and several sweet treats. This menu is massive, there's an option for everyone! We got the green chile burrito and a bacon egg and cheese bagel and it was amazing!!!! The service was great and quick despite being super busy. It is so cute and cozy inside. I wish I had taken pictures of my visit here, because it was fantastic! This is such a nice, cozy coffee and lunch spot. I got the Tasty Turkey sandwich on an everything bagel and it was soooo good. The pesto spread was my favorite. I also got an iced black tea that was really good and I brought home a couple of brownies for my family to try. We especially loved the Caramel Cookie Dough Brownie, yum! All of the employees were very friendly and took great care of us. I also loved how clean and modern it felt. I've been to this place a few times, so happy every time! Highly recommend the French dip sandwich and the matcha latte with honey Lavendar! My fiancé loved the Ruben sandwich as well. They also have the most dreamy salmon salad but frequently sell out before I make it in love the new seating they added...They also have fresh juice and so many baked goods and desserts. SBL and I wanted to try a coffee shop on the way home. Cortado BC was close and we thought why not give this a whirl. First feels: A warm hug. I instantly loved it and felt right at home. The owner, Monica had a vision and executed it very well. There were so many desserts and baked goods, it was a fabulous thing to see. Honestly there wasn't a thing in there that I wouldn't try either. The sweets looked stupid picturesque, like exactly how all tasties should. (From experience when things are made with overflowing love this is how they look and taste) I got the s'mores brownie and SBL got the magic bar. I also got an iced Lucky Charms latte 24ozer When people who serve coffee in life sized containers they get it. Also is it disturbing I've worked my way up to life sized coffee amounts? I'm thinking no, not really. I'm just living my best life here drinking all the coffee. The desserts were ridiculously wonderful. Soft, moist, sweet, but not too sweet. They were giant and bulky and thick and chewy and melty in your mouth and so off the charts good. Top tier I say, top tier! The latte was delicious as well. I had myself a fantastic experience, from enjoying the ambience and local art posted up on the walls, to sipping on my tasty matcha while sitting window-side, being kissed by the sun, and typing away on my laptop. The baristas were kind and had such a welcoming and warm energy; impeccable vibes, especially if you're looking for that "chill, lo-fi coffee shop" experience. I ordered a blueberry bagel with peanut butter and a hot matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla. Both were fresh, tasty, and fulfilling. this is one of my new favorite coffee shops! shout out to my gf for finding it! they have such good seasonal flavors, such a variety in both drinks and food. i got a bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich and it was amazing. i really want to go back here soon to try all of the other sandwiches they have. the pastries look really good as well. the last two times I have been here, I was working on different projects of mine. The atmosphere was a really good working environment with plenty of seating. Sometimes the music is a little too loud for my liking but it's not too bad. read more

Came here to get some work done! There are two places in the store to charge your devices. I was here for about 4 hours and had a peaceful time eating and finishing up work. I first ordered a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso (they have this at Starbucks) and definitely liked this one here way better since the brown sugar flavor was more prominent AND they give you a bigger cup size. After a couple hours I ordered a Turkey pesto sandwich and the pesto and cheese were especially delicious! I also got a cookies and cream brownie since it was in the field of vision near the register haha it was also equally delicious with big chunks of Oreo cookies in it! Very huge portion too! The service was quick and the atmosphere was very quiet here so I got a lot of work done! I will definitely be back! read more

I came to this establishment before it changed hands and really enjoyed it. Now after becoming Cortado Coffee the coffee is not good and the environment is not inviting. It was very hot inside and the dining room appeared to be redone with the refrigerator sitting in the rear of the dining room. This is a perfect example of, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I enjoyed my time there in the past under the prior owners but won't be going back. read more

Not the most trendy coffee shop I've been to, but if I were to taste Cortado Coffee in a blind taste test, it would rank near the top. The dude behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable. He educated me about their roasting process which is done in house (always a bonus). They roast beans from 3 different counties in house- two from Central America and one from Africa. I'm not sure which roast I had, but I found it to be ultra rich and smooth. Bonus they gave me a free refill. I will definitely come back soon read more

When asked if the granola was gluten-free, waitress stuck up her nose and said she "didn't even know what gluten was." train your staff better. celiac is no joke. it was not what she said (although you should know what common allergens are if you dare to serve food), but the snotty way she said it. read more

This place is an absolute Sh**sh** 3 times in a row they have gotten my order wrong They never iced tea brewed in the am when they open.You need to get there 30-45 min after they open for that. If they do screw up, they wont take ownership over it, as they will act very surprised and say "this never happens" All of the above makes it a very inconvenient place to go. Its a shame because the food is usually solid, but the management and execution is really really poor. I would be surprised if they remain open much longer based on the service and a pretty bad location. read more

My husband and I live around the corner from this coffee shop and just noticed it the other day when we were driving by so we decided to stop by today for some breakfast and coffees, and it is so good!! When we walked in the place was packed, no empty seats, so that was a good sign! We got the tiramisu cold brew and we ordered another iced coffee with peanut butter flavoring and oat milk. We also got two bagel sandwiches. The egg + cheese please bagel sandwich is drool worthy, sweet and spicy, and something you won't find anywhere else. This place is a JOKE. This is NOT what it appears to be. 3 weeks ago when we drove through town we stopped here. Our drinks were way too hot, the woman that took our order seemed confused and messed up our order. We didn't complain because that's not our style and figured we could let it slide. Today we went again passing back through town. The barista served me a luke warm latte and my wife's drink was the same. The food looks great and well presented but my muffin was tasteless. Oh my gosh such a beautiful place and the service was really great for my family. Got the mango bowl, lumber jack burrito and usually when we go to places like this, it's just a standard tasting bowl/burrito. But this place? WAS SO GOOD. Impeccable. The bowl was So fresh, perfect portions of the toppings and tasted amazing. My husband said his burrito was really good he didn't even want to put the salsa on it. Used to go to this place when it was Breadcrafters in Paradise Valley. I was in town from Cottonwood and was looking forward to a good experience as before,. Sadly, this was not what happened. Its small, cramped with LOUD Hispanic music - so there's no chance to have a conversation in there. Had a very good sandwich, but service was SLOW and person behind the counter didn't speak very good ENGLISH. Pastries still look amazing but didn't opt for that because I just wanted to get out of there! Such a disappointment!
