I came into the Scottsdale location on Wednesday, and I believe the girl's name was Zoey. She was so helpful! She even helped me carry all of my drinks to my car and gave me a free sticker for my birthday. Also said they are having a competition for most reviews so my vote goes to her! read more

Better Buzz is located in the Scottsdale Towne Center. A very busy shop selling smoothies, hot and cold beverages and some food options. It's bright and buzzy in this coffee house. All age groups visit this casual and comfortable place. There's a sofa and easy chairs, tables with chairs and a bar area to enjoy your choice of the day. Service is pleasant although they could benefit from an express line when busy. I ran into a friend so we ordered our beverages and found a nice spot on the sofa and soft chair. Despite the busy activity going on, it was fairly quiet in there making it good for conversation. Tasty drinks. I have tried their açaí bowls in the past and they are very filling and good. Drive thru available. Plenty of parking and WiFi in the building. read more

First, let's start it off with the coffee is fantastic. Food is great. Service is on point. Now for the bad, you all are constantly understaffed. Please, for the love of God management. There is ZERO REASON, that you have one drive thru employee and one barista/cashier on a MONDAY MORNING RUSH. This is the norm every day. I'm sitting now at 15 minutes to wait for my drink. Management needs to stop being stingy and schedule more people. read more

Better Buzz Coffee was a fantastic stop! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. I tried the Coconut Macadamia Matcha, the Cinnamon Pistachio Latte, and the Feta Avocado Sandwich--each one was divine, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the drinks and the food. What truly made our visit memorable was Nasiah. Her kindness, genuine hospitality, and thoughtful recommendations really shined through. She took the time to understand what we liked and suggested drinks that were spot on. Exceptional customer service like that makes all the difference. If you're in Arizona and looking for an outstanding coffee shop, Better Buzz Coffee is absolutely worth the visit. Great food, amazing drinks, and even better service. We'll definitely be back! read more

I've been wanting to try Better Buzz for the longest time, so I was so excited when they opened a location near me! I downloaded the app to make ordering easier, and I highly recommend using mobile pickup during peak hours because the drive-thru can get pretty busy (speaking from experience). They always have fun seasonal coffee flavors, and every one I've tried has been delicious. I've never actually hung out inside, but I did go in once to pick up an order when the drive-thru line was super long. The space is cute and has plenty of tables and seating, making it a great spot to catch up with friends or get a little work done. The coffee is definitely on the pricier side (around $7+), but honestly, sometimes you just deserve a little treat-yourself moment. My go-to order is the "Best Drink Ever" - their iced Americano. I'm usually a simple coffee girl, but I did try one of their coconut-flavored drinks and it was amazing. It was so pretty that I almost didn't want to drink it! read more

I remember having Better Buzz at their first SD location so it's really crazy they've grown and are in Arizona now! the best drink ever is really the best - but I also enjoy the hazelnut divinity. Their sandwhich, and croissants are pretty tasty but I do find them to be pricey ($20 for a drink and croissant) other than that I find myself at this location often before or after a workout so it's a great spot to wind down or catch up with a friend! They've got decent amount of inside seating and a patio. read more

Q: Why did the banana go to the doctor? A: Because he wasn't peeling well. Okay, stop. The Banana Pudding Best Drink Ever with the banana cold foam has no business being so good but it is! Their Instagram ad had me popping by Better Buzz for a midday pick-me-up. Did it wreck my sleep schedule? Of course. Do I regret it? No! At 3/4 sweetness and with oat milk, it was an amazing sweet treat. I'm a fan of their "Best Drink Ever" so any time they release a fun cold foam to go on top, I'm down. I have a soft spot for Better Buzz because the first time we had it was in San Diego long before it came to AZ. I needed some caffeine by my office that was open early and put in a mobile order for pickup at the Scottsdale location. The employees were welcoming and friendly and my drink was ready when I arrived. The drinks are sweet so I ask for half sweet and they are perfect. Drinks are consistent and this location is convenient. I'll be back again! read more

I've driven through here twice now and both times the coffee was great. A coworker recommended this coffee place to me since I am new to the area and we popped over at lunch! The drive-through line went very quickly and the menu is clear and concise to make it easy to order. I didn't see that there was a large size, but the employee kindly offered and I accepted! This better buzz only gets 4 stars.... Better buzz has such wonderful service and delicious drinks. I usually go through the drive thru when I come to this plaza. I always need a pick me up drink before hitting the stores. Their coconut matcha is soo good. I just wish the matcha was ceremonial grade but it's okay. I've tried their coffees too but haven't found my go to drink *yet*. Yesterday Dimitri aka Tri was assisting at the window and he was so fun to chat with! His energy was awesome. read more

My sister had been hunting for a good matcha since she got to phoenix to visit. On her last day we were at tj maxx and we decided to look for a spot close by and better buzz showed up on the map literally across the way from tj maxx so we decided to check it out. We didn't park to go in as the parking lot looked busy and it was hot so we decided on the drive through which was also busy but it was going by pretty quickly. I got the hazelnut divinity and added vanilla cold foam (they have 5 different cold foams) and my sister got the coconut matcha with added cold foam as well. Let me tell you... these drinks were absolutely amazing! My sis yet was so thrilled to finally found a spot to get matcha while she comes to visit me! Love that they have a drive thru, it's super convenient when you have a toddler. I was excited to try the matcha with coconut cold foam after it being recommended. Coffee is good but man they are slow. Placed an online order and it was ready 15 min after it was noted to be ready. They need to staff up to keep up with the demand. I found another location in Scottsdale which I did not know existed. Yay! One of my favorite coffee spots. We walked in on a Wednesday morning and were greeted by Kate. I decided to try their new coconut matcha drink with coconut milk. At first I thought did I over do it by using coconut milk on top of coconut? Nope! It was a most delicious drink. My husband had a mocha drink and was very satisfied. We shared the Better Breakfast. The service from all the staff especially Kate was probably the best I have ever experienced from a Better Buzz Coffee anywhere. Their power had gone off and just come back on and you could see that their computer system had just come up. Although I am sure they were frazzled by the power outage, none of them showed it. They were all smiles and happy faces. What a great team! The interior is roomy with plenty of space to work or study and I always enjoy the Better Buzz merchandise and decor. Happy to find this location for the next time I am in Scottsdale. read more

I first heard of this coffee chain last year when I'd pass by the Phoenix location, but I only got to try it recently at this newer Scottsdale location. It's large with ample parking and seating and has a drive-thru, which is convenient. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy at the time. I ordered their large caramel blended iced coffee and waited at the bar seating for my drink to be made. It was a nice presentation with caramel syrup along the sides and bottom. Coffee flavor was lacking though, tasted more like a milkshake and was very sweet. I got to try their coconut matcha and their turkey pesto sandwich, both of which were okay. I'd be down to try other drinks or food items, of which they have a variety. Service was friendly. read more

"What's a good name?" Is the first thing you'll be asked. Not "how is your day" or even "what's your name?" Just... that. Anyway, the cold greeting aside, they are pompous, waaaaay overpriced ($20 for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee???) and the best part is - I didn't even get my sandwich. They told me to pull forward to wait for my single sandwich and ghosted me for 10+ minutes. Tried to call the location and got only a voicemail. I would've went inside, but I didn't have any shoes on because I thought I was just going to grab a quick bite for breakfast You can absolutely get a better breakfast and coffee virtually anywhere else because you'll actually receive it. I don't appreciate the pompous nature of this place, the terrible customer service, or the price. On the Venn diagram of places that should be providing at least one of those, this falls short on every single one. Price, customer service, quality are all absolutely trash. Not interested in ever returning read more

Met my son there Friday for birthday coffee- never been to this location - just a little surprised that tables were not cleaned off , cups on the floor and 2 trash cans overflowing - owner management needs to teach how to provide a clean environment - no tip because of long wait ( and it wasn't busy except for there phones ) so gal behind bar was snippy - doubt we gonna back or recommend- moving forward read more

Went again on a Saturday morning at peak busy time 10-11 AM and they have got it together. The line was 10 people long but they moved through everyone efficiently and there was no back up of people waiting at the counter. Very impressed with how they handle the high demand of a Saturday morning now. Keep it up! This Saturday I met the sweetest 80 year old who was sitting at the long table writing "nothing but love notes" to service men (police officers, veterans) they have an instagram page. I find myself here in the morning and the evening, their Better breakfast sandwich is served all day, they close at 8pm, and its one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast or dinner. The warm pretzel bun, the fried egg patty and chopped bacon is the perfect savory meal. I alternate with the avocado toast with fried egg patty. Usually I will get their sweet drinks half sweet as they do run on the sweet side. read more

Stopped in to Better Buzz today (Saturday) around 11:30 AM. The decor is really cute. I love the wallpaper. The inside is quite bright and cheery and they have a good number of tables to sit at. They offer outdoor seating as well as a drive-through. There were two people in front of us in line which gave us time to review the menu. They offer teas, coffees, smoothies, bowls and some toasts and sandwiches. They don't list lavender lattes on their menu, but they have lavender tea so they did make me a lavender latte. I also ordered the feta avocado toast. Prices are average for the area. Neither one of us loved our coffees. I don't think it was the lavender, I really think the coffee they use just isn't powerful enough. We were staying to eat our lunch and although they did not ask us if it was to go, they did put them in plastic to go containers instead of plates . We might have just caught them at a bad time, but the napkin container was empty and we did not see anyone cleaning any tables the whole time we were there. Although it is a really nice spot to coffee and visit, I won't be rushing back for the coffee, but maybe I will try a tea next time. read more

This coffee shop was perfect for working virtually responding to emails and messages on Friday morning. Music was a little loud, so taking calls would be a little difficult, but overall the atmosphere was awesome with multiple people working via laptops and few work meetings and meetups happening here. I ordered the honey latte and chocolate croissant, which were both so good. I recommend getting the croissant warmed up. The honey latte was the perfect taste of honey, not too overwhelming. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking to switch your work environment for the day. They do have a selection of food items as well. read more

I've been coming to this Better Buzz a couple of times a week, and I've always had a great experience. But today really showed me what kind of people work here. While I was in the drive-thru this morning, my truck suddenly died and became completely immobile. Instead of treating me like an inconvenience, every member of the team jumped in to help. They helped get my truck moved, checked on me several times, and even offered me water and anything else I might need while I waited. I felt terrible because my truck had shut down their drive-thru, but they repeatedly reassured me that it was okay and made me feel completely at ease. Their kindness, patience, and willingness to help during a stressful situation meant more than they probably realize. Customer service like this is rare these days. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond. You've earned a customer for life, and I can't recommend this location enough. read more

In the San Diego area, Better Buzz is something of an institution, so it was fun to see them expand into Arizona. This new location, housed in a former Boston Market building not far from where I work, was an easy place to try again, since I had only been to a Better Buzz coffeehouse once before, in Coronado, California. The positives are that they have a unique menu with drinks you've probably never had anywhere else, so there's much to choose from. The service seems friendly enough. And the seating area is light and bright with plenty of places to sit, plug in, do some work, etc. They have a good outdoor seating area, too, with some decent space. And they have an app that gives you a free drink after your first purchase and allows you to accumulate points for rewards. The negatives start with the pretty high prices. They are definitely a bit more expensive than other options. I'm not sure if the drinks are quite worth what you are paying, but I withhold judgment on that for now, since I've only had two different drinks there so far. And while the ambience is great, it's probably not the best place if you want a quieter environment. Both times I came in, it was quite noisy, but it was also really busy. I don't think I'd have a problem working here on my laptop, but my wife came here with a friend to have a coffee and chat, and she had a hard time concentrating on the conversation and hearing her more softspoken friend over all the ambient noise. My wife and I have both tried the Best Drink Ever, which is the name of what is essentially their vanilla latte. Our conclusion was that it was good, a bit too sweet, and uses a vanilla powder that isn't our favorite in terms of its taste. That said, I still enjoyed mine. I don't recommend getting it at full sweetness. Most of their sweet drinks are over-the-top sweet (kind of like Dutch Bros and Black Rock in that regard), so you're better off asking for reduced sweetness. Fortunately, they are proactive about this and actually had signs when I was in that pointed out that you can order their drinks at 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2 sweet. The other drink I tried was a cold brew, and it was good. Not the best or the worst I've ever had. Overall, I recommend that you give it a try and determine if Better Buzz is a better coffeehouse for you. :) read more

A generic coffee chain from southern California and San Diego that doesn't differentiate itself except by the bee wallpaper. The interior and seating doesn't feel like the sort of place you want to hang out and I wonder if a wealthy investor had more money than love of great coffee. It is similar to Starbucks, and if you like that you might find Better Buzz Coffee to be a good option. However, there are many better and already established coffee shops so it will be hard to compete. I had the hot latte and while it's okay it's nothing great and I would suggest one of the many local coffee shops or Press Coffee, Cartel, or even Black Rock. read more

I had heard great things about this place and they did not disappoint! This new addition to the Scottsdale neighborhood is perfect. Came here to tryout their horchata iced coffee and it was delicious! I am dairy free and having something that is automatically DF was so nice. It was creamy and the shot of espresso was just the right pick me up. I ordered the avocado toast and the islander açaí bowl. The sourdough bread was thick and fluffy. They added sprouts and a lemon wedge which added a nice touch of freshness and acid. The islander bowl was very filling and the granola with the coconut shreds were great! Then for dessert I got the waffle bites and they were heaven! Nice crispy outside and fluffy on the inside. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and attentive. Since the shop had just opened up and the staff still figuring out their flow the tables and floor were a bit dirty with the amount of people that came. But I think this will improve over time. Overall, this place has a great vibe, friendly staff, and amazing menu items. I can't wait to go back! read more
