I'm really looking forward to going back to brush up on my pottery throwing! Spent about $80 for 2 small things to paint, then I called with pictures and they offered me a free studio fee which is only $12-$15 or whatever and that quote on quote "sometimes the kiln hates us". To me, thats not a guarantee and should be stated to the customers, why would I want to pay that much again for it to be ruined? It took the manager 3-5 business days to call back but I was busy at 1-2pm on a business day. I have to work so I can afford that negative $80, and cant even use my items because there's ruined with shards. Did not fix the customers satisfaction, and I have already been so negatively communicating about this place.

As a complete novice, I was totally lost. I tried multiple times on my own but no luck. I asked for help multiple times and got general advice. I was the ONLY one that couldn't make anything, yet the instructor didn't seem to either notice or to care. I eventually looked up my own video on how to do this and still wasn't able to. The instructor said she would be happy to help one on one, yet I was the was one who clearly needed help, she was and just made her own pottery. I feel demoralized and humiliated. I left this experience in tears.

Truly hands-on, patient, and made sure everyone left with a piece they were proud of, whether they chose to keep it or not. One thing to note: I wouldn't recommend this specific class for out-of-towners. If you want to keep your piece, the process takes about a month. First firing, then returning to paint, then a second firing. You also pay separately for any pieces you choose to keep and paint. Our class was $35 per person, and it's $20 per piece for firing if you plan to come back and paint it. It's a commitment, but also two fun experiences if you're local or don't mind returning. Overall, I'm taking off one star due to our specific experience with their wheel throwing activity, but I still think the concept of this place is great, and I look forward to coming back to paint my piece as well as to try a different activity!
