I found out on TikTok that you can bring your newborn in to make a sweet memory plate with their little footprints, so I decided to stop by while I was eating next door. Abigail made the whole experience such a beautiful and special moment! She was so kind, patient, and genuinely made us feel so welcomed. She took amazing care of us and made the entire experience so memorable. I absolutely love coming here, and thanks to the amazing customer service, I'll definitely continue coming back! Thank you so much, Abigail, for making this such a special memory for us! read more

My kids love coming here with their friends! The staff are always friendly and helpful. I recommend making a reservation, but I have seen people just walk in. They also have a private party room in the back for birthday parties. Some of the kids in our party took longer to paint. I asked permission to grab a pizza next door and was able to keep other kids that finished early busy. Overall, we love this place and the kids are always looking forward to our next visit. read more

Super fun and cute! Kinda expensive but they have pieces in different price ranges. My 3 year old came with us and did the $5 add on pieces.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday here for the first time and it was the best experience! Our party host was incredibly friendly and amazing with both the kids and adults, which made the whole party run smoothly and fun for everyone. The manager was also very accommodating when we asked about putting a rush on our pick-up day. The staff truly went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this place for a fun outing or a private party! read more

As You Wish Pottery is amazing for birthday parties! We had my daughter's 11th surprise birthday party in the private party room. The girls loved choosing which items to paint and decorate. Riley, our party host, was assisting the entire party from handing out pizza to painting techniques. I hardly recommend this location for parties!! read more

We had a really great time and I have a very pretty platter. We received a great breakdown of how it works and what to do from Finn. He was really pleasant and I felt we had a lot of time to create and enjoy what we were doing. It was a great experience and I would do this again. read more

My daughter and her friend was finally able to enjoy the gift card she received for her birthday. Went on a Saturday morning and was able to get right in. The staff was amazing and helped the girls throughout the process. They both did 3 pieces each and they had a blast. After they were done, we paid and was given a receipt to pick up the following Wed. I received a call a couple days later saying that 2 pieces that the girls did chipped because of a puff paint they used. They said when we'd go in they could give us a credit which they did do when I picked up. Now the girls are planning their next date to paint more pottery. My daughter is also already planning to have her next birthday party here. Check it out if you haven't been. Lots of pottery to choose from. All different sizes and great prices for the experience! read more

So expensive and so poring I paid about 90 dollars for two small pieces of pottery. This is unbelievable. They are scams

Quick firing turn around and awesome selection of pieces and colors. My only negative is that the service wasn't great. No one greeted us or gave us any sort of instruction on how their shop works. It took someone an hour and a half to come up and introduce themselves and ask for our names. we just kind of made ourselves at home. Overall though, would recommend! read more

When I was told we were going to a pottery place i thought we would be making pottery with the clay and wheel and all that. This is just a place where you paint pre made pottery. They kids all had fun. They glaze it and put it in the kiln for you as well so you are literally just painting it. It's a nice place. It's in a great complex with lots of kid friendly resultants so you could make a day out of coming over here. Just disappointed it was just painting. read more

Honestly, the staff was some of the nicest people I have ever met. They were so sweet and understanding about my obliviousness (I'm 17 lol) and went around the place to check in on not only me and my sister, but everyone there. It was such a friendly environment and I never felt like I was being judged for my terrible strawberry themed bowl. During checkout SB (her initials, I'm not sure if I can just put her name on here lol) was so sweet to my sister and I about how our ceramic bowls turned out, sure it's her job to be supportive but she seemed genuinely about her love for our bowls. For my sister's first time at a Make A Wish, she had such a wonderful time and now has been asking me every hour if we'll ever go again. What a wonderful location with the nicest staff ever, they are amazing and I hope they get all the credit they deserve! read more

Had a lovely time today with my mom. Brought her here to celebrate Mother's Day little early while she's visiting from out of town. $8 per person entry fee, good for the whole day. Plus cost of ceramics. I think the ceramics were slightly overpriced by $5-10, in China pieces. My only other complaint is that the brushes and letter paint need to be better. I don't mind the slight over pricing of items IF everything else is awesome and makes it all worth it. I still believe this was a lovely experience, especially since the staff was so friendly and helpful. I'll be bringing my moon back every time she visits to create more memories, because at the webs of the day that's all it's really about... and that's priceless. read more

Fun date. $8 per person cover and you pick and paint a ceramic of your choice. They glaze and fire it for you.

My daughter and I had so much fun together here. Some of the items are a little pricy but it's worth it. Perfect little date activity.

They were very helpful and courteous, will definitely be back.. very relaxing atmosphere

Kids really enjoyed themselves! A variety of stoneware to choose from and then it comes to life when they glaze it in the oven. Pretty cool and fun day with kids or even a date stop before dinner. read more

We went there for an adult birthday party. It was only three of us but we were given lots of wonderful attention from the staff. Painting pottery was exceptionally fun it is a little pricey but for a special occasion it was wonderful! read more

I'm a fan of the company and have visited numerous locations since I was a little girl. I have to give tremendous kudos for how they have handled business through these unprecedented times. I called and made a reservation for three of us and was able to get in. They make the customers wash their hands immediately before touching anything and you have to wear a mask when in all areas other than your table while painting as well as practice social distancing. The associates were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and wore masks at all times as well. Thank you for providing a safe environment for my family to decompress during these stressful times. I take my daughter every year and I'm thankful I didn't have to skip this year. read more

What a fun place to spend a couple hours being creative. I've come here alone to clear my head or with friends for a little girl time. The staff is fun and helpful. If you see a display piece and wonder how it's done they will be happy to answer your questions. Even better they will let you know when the next class is to master that technique. I recommend getting on their email listing to find out about classes and sales! read more

We had our 10year olds birthday party at As You Wish. The party coordinator was great, she interacted with the kids and was very helpful.

SO FUN! I've been here dozens of times and I always bring friends! It's an easy date idea! It's also an easy girl date idea! Budget out 3 hours to go do this! You'll be surprised how long it takes to get everything perfect on your piece of pottery! There's lots of fun dessert places around for an after pottery treat! read more

Very good place, easy and very quiet here! Highly recommend. I suggest dog bowls for easy and beginners read more

My daughter likes this place very much. I went there again today. When we finished it, I said to pay the bill. The two staff did not respond to me in front of me. One pretended not to hear it and just looked at the computer, and the other was busy drawing her things. I said again to pay the bill. They were still doing their own things, which made me feel They are rude, unprofessional and lack customer service experience. My daughter and I waited there for a while. One of them finished drawing her cup before serving us. Is there a customer going to pay the bill? Shouldn't you greet the guest first?? read more

Upon entering the studio around 445 Pm on a friday afternoon I waited my turn in line to ask if i was able to take a table , by surprise there were 9+ open tables, when my mother called 10 minutes prior she was told that there were no openings, they were busy, and that she would not be able to come in and paint until 7pm that night. Happy I was able to get a table I let my mother know and she is on her way. I did let the girl at the desk , Leah , know that I would be waiting for my mother to paint and asked Payton for the wifi password as I had my laptop and needed to submit an assignment. Around 10 minutes go by and im sitting at the table with my headphones on doing the assignment, I then to my surprise look up to whom I find out is Payton at the table next to me wiping it down, lookin across the studio to Leah, the one at the front desk rolling her eyes and whispering something to one another as if i would not see. I take my headphones off to hear Payton ask " do you need help with anything?" I respond and say : im waiting for my mother as I stated previously who has an item on hold to paint. I dont appreciate you talkling as if i can not hear you and rolling your eyes at me". They both look surprised that I heard and saw both. Stammering over themselves to their surprise payton looks to leah and says " im sorry you have an item on hold today we didnt get any calls". I repeated myself and said no im sorry my mother has had an item on hold she asked me to get it for her". Another girl assists and drops the item on the table for me, i was unable to ask her for her name but she was very helpful along with Rylie at the studio who was more than happy to help and assist my mother with her questions. Lastly as my mother entered the studio she had passed payton and another girl leaving as their shift ended to now we know as payton stating " i dont know she looked at us and was a complete bitch". Im not sure how these teenagets think businesses are run but it is not though being rude and bad work ethic. Will not be returning and I suggest others dont as well. read more

While I wish AYW was a little cheaper, they are a fun place for the kiddos to express their creativity. The staff is, for the most part, friendly and helpful. A few times, the younger female staff have been more preoccupied with chatting among themselves, but that doesn't appear to be the norm. Turn around time on the pieces is quick, just a few days, which is nice. read more

This place is great for individuals, dates, and group parties. There's a sitting fee plus the cost of the item that you choose. Some days there are deals that waive the sitting fee. They have great pottery selection for kids and adults and many colors and textures to choose from. My kids love it here as they are free to express their creativity. It is a bit pricey so try to line up your time with a good deal. read more

Came for a birthday party. My daughter is pretty young to for this type of activity but I thought it might be fun since she adores the Birthday celebrant. But I was wrong and was soon to find out she is sort of frightened of big crowds. She bawls and cries and literally storms out of the room. The staff members were super accommodating and allowed us to sit at our own table and even checked on us and my little daughter. I applaud them for their service and accommodating my family and I. read more

After the application process to work here I did a group interview and was hired! Receiving a call to schedule training. I was excited to work at a place I loved! There manager Jacci wasn't even professional enough to call and let me know they weren't going to use me! It's been over a month! If I would have known I needed to keep looking I would have! She is obviously not concerned with the social blast there small company is going to get! Being treated this way they just lost a lot of business! As my family and several other are now on a boycotting mission! As you wish I'm sorry for your absolutely unfair way you treated potential employees! As she had given me a training schedule then pushed it out, and never bothered to call back! Obviously hoping I would forget she hired me? Still a bit confused. I in all my years have never been treated so poorly! Thank you Jacci keep up the great work? Not to mention a week after posting they have an ad up on Indeed! Looking for the same position I was hired for! Then never called about! I'm usually a very positive individual! But treating someone in this manner? It's completely unprofessional the small " AS YOU WISH " company can be severely damaged by the way they treat internal customers as much as customers! Fun place to go! But maybe not to go to work! I do thank you for helping me avoid working there though! read more

Had to leave and go to a store 20 minutes away because they wouldn't let us paint piggy banks literally on a cart intended to be stocked. Said I had to wait until tomorrow. Speaking to another store, I was told the was only if it was a new item, which it wasn't. Poor customer service, lack of understanding policies, and unavailable product should not be In the view of the consumer. read more

Had an awesome afternoon with my granddaughter! Plan on returning as much as possible.

This place is most excellent and pretty rad. The staff are always super cool and nice. I made a cup.

Grossly overpriced!! They have all these pretty designs in the window to entice you to schedule a time to come in but when you want to duplicate a piece....GOOD LUCK! Paid $49.50 for a Christmas cookie plater. Got the run around for over 39 mins as to how to pick your design. Finally traced the the plate I wanted to duplicate. The supplies are pretty limited and brushes look like they should have been thrown out years ago!! It's super frustrating when you go there and want to make a nice pics of pottery only to have tools like look like I was ready for a preschool project!! Place is mostly run by much younger folks who don't seem to know the answer to anything. Spend your money elsewhere! read more

First time here. Walked in on a Friday around 1. We were asked if we had a reservation. I said no, I didn't know we needed one. Girl says no problem, take a look at the wall & have a seat. So not really knowing what to do, we each choose a little item from the wall and sit down and wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. Finally I go back to the counter and tell them we are ready to paint. She says hang on someone will be right with you. And we wait. Again. So then someone finally comes to explain the paint which is all basically self serve. Once we got the hang of things it was fun, but if you don't know what is going on here it's very confusing. When we were ready to leave, once again we did not know what to do. I think they need a better system of explaining things to beginners. Overall I think the kids had fun. We had a coupon for studio fees and spent around $40 for 4 painting the smallest items. The staff was not very helpful though, unfortunately. read more

Been coming here for a long time and can honestly say that it is one of the better pottery places out there. It is great for kids and adults alike. I had my young daughters birthday party at this location and they took very good care of us. Although it is on the pricey side, their customer service is great and offer a variety of helpful tips and tricks on being a true artist. Note: BYOB would be a nice option even during specific times. read more

Good place for a date or time with your kids, but very expensive. There is a sitting fee and then you have to pay per piece size, the bigger the more expensive. I got a small lantern the size of an orange for $15 + sitting fee. For my son and I - $60 total. I would go back, but only special occasions where it's ok to spend that kind of money on a night out. read more

I like the place, it's fun to do. First trip was for Valentine's day. We did go back to do plate and bowl later on. My only issue is, it's quite expensive. For my husband and i to do a mug each (first trip), it was 48$. They charged almost 15 dollars for a mug. When i looked up the same mug online it was 6$. For second visit it was almost 70$ for 2 plate and two small bowls. Back home in Oregon they do not charge a sitting fee (the one by my house doesn't) so i was a little disappointed that they do here. Although It is fun, it's just expensive. We will go back some day but not for a while. read more

We always enjoy our time here and the staff is usually very friendly and helpful. We had a birthday party for my 9 year old recently. It was a crowded day and the party host stayed close by and helped out. However, a few days later when we picked up the finished pottery for the party guests, an extra piece was in the bag that belonged to someone else. When I called the studio I was told to "bring it back". The studio is quite far away and it will be difficult to run another errand to that part of town anytime soon. read more

As You Wish Pottery - Paint-Your-Own Pottery Near Me - Chandler, Arizona

Jan2017 - The majority of our creativity time in 2016 was spent with a competitor after a number of disappointing occurrences at the beginning of the year (see prior review). In December we decided to give them another try and have been here three times in a month and have had positive experiences each time. Mousy guy is gone and the team working here now seems to really be on their game. We did have an issue with a piece being damaged in the glazing process but a young lady did a great job fixing the piece for my daughter and even asked us about it on our next visit. So I can't take them up to a 5 at this point but they've been removed from the 'don't ever go there' list. PRIOR REVIEW - Jan2016 So I really do love As You Wish but have had a less than stellar experience the last few times at this location. First off, I called and made a reservation. We arrived right on time to a full house and no table available. But I have a reservation so how can that be? Well your reservation wasn't put out said the mousy young man helping me...the same one that took my reservation! Grrrr....so there's a table leaving and he secures it for us in the back corner...great! Then pulls out a card table and squeezes it into the small space near us to make room for another family. Now neither of us can squeeze in and out without disturbing the other...not great! Fast forward a few days. I'm back to pick up our masterpieces just to find the doors locked. I look at the time posted on the window. It says 6pm on Sunday's. It is indeed Sunday and it's only 5:30. I check my watch AND my phone just to be sure. There are people inside so I knock on the door. My favorite (note sarcasm) mousy employee comes to the door after rolling his eyes and explains that they 'technically' closed early today. So until this location pulls it's collective head out of its @$$ I'll sadly need to stick with a low rating. read more
