My daughter and her friend was finally able to enjoy the gift card she received for her birthday. Went on a Saturday morning and was able to get right in. The staff was amazing and helped the girls throughout the process. They both did 3 pieces each and they had a blast. After they were done, we paid and was given a receipt to pick up the following Wed. I received a call a couple days later saying that 2 pieces that the girls did chipped because of a puff paint they used. They said when we'd go in they could give us a credit which they did do when I picked up. Now the girls are planning their next date to paint more pottery. My daughter is also already planning to have her next birthday party here. Check it out if you haven't been. Lots of pottery to choose from. Quick firing turn around and awesome selection of pieces and colors. My only negative is that the service wasn't great. No one greeted us or gave us any sort of instruction on how their shop works. When I was told we were going to a pottery place i thought we would be making pottery with the clay and wheel and all that. This is just a place where you paint pre made pottery. They kids all had fun. They glaze it and put it in the kiln for you as well so you are literally just painting it. It's a nice place. It's in a great complex with lots of kid friendly resultants so you could make a day out of coming over here. Just disappointed it was just painting. read more

Honestly, the staff was some of the nicest people I have ever met. They were so sweet and understanding about my obliviousness (I'm 17 lol) and went around the place to check in on not only me and my sister, but everyone there. It was such a friendly environment and I never felt like I was being judged for my terrible strawberry themed bowl. During checkout SB (her initials, I'm not sure if I can just put her name on here lol) was so sweet to my sister and I about how our ceramic bowls turned out, sure it's her job to be supportive but she seemed genuinely about her love for our bowls. For my sister's first time at a Make A Wish, she had such a wonderful time and now has been asking me every hour if we'll ever go again. Had a lovely time today with my mom. Brought her here to celebrate Mother's Day little early while she's visiting from out of town. $8 per person entry fee, good for the whole day. Plus cost of ceramics. I think the ceramics were slightly overpriced by $5-10, in China pieces. My only other complaint is that the brushes and letter paint need to be better. I don't mind the slight over pricing of items IF everything else is awesome and makes it all worth it. I still believe this was a lovely experience, especially since the staff was so friendly and helpful. I'll be bringing my moon back every time she visits to create more memories, because at the webs of the day that's all it's really about... and that's priceless. read more

I'm a fan of the company and have visited numerous locations since I was a little girl. I have to give tremendous kudos for how they have handled business through these unprecedented times. I called and made a reservation for three of us and was able to get in. They make the customers wash their hands immediately before touching anything and you have to wear a mask when in all areas other than your table while painting as well as practice social distancing. The associates were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and wore masks at all times as well. Thank you for providing a safe environment for my family to decompress during these stressful times. One pretended not to hear it and just looked at the computer, and the other was busy drawing her things. I said again to pay the bill. Upon entering the studio around 445 Pm on a friday afternoon I waited my turn in line to ask if i was able to take a table , by surprise there were 9+ open tables, when my mother called 10 minutes prior she was told that there were no openings, they were busy, and that she would not be able to come in and paint until 7pm that night. Happy I was able to get a table I let my mother know and she is on her way. I did let the girl at the desk , Leah , know that I would be waiting for my mother to paint and asked Payton for the wifi password as I had my laptop and needed to submit an assignment. Around 10 minutes go by and im sitting at the table with my headphones on doing the assignment, I then to my surprise look up to whom I find out is Payton at the table next to me wiping it down, lookin across the studio to Leah, the one at the front desk rolling her eyes and whispering something to one another as if i would not see. I take my headphones off to hear Payton ask " do you need help with anything?" I respond and say : im waiting for my mother as I stated previously who has an item on hold to paint. I dont appreciate you talkling as if i can not hear you and rolling your eyes at me". They both look surprised that I heard and saw both. Stammering over themselves to their surprise payton looks to leah and says " im sorry you have an item on hold today we didnt get any calls". I repeated myself and said no im sorry my mother has had an item on hold she asked me to get it for her". Another girl assists and drops the item on the table for me, i was unable to ask her for her name but she was very helpful along with Rylie at the studio who was more than happy to help and assist my mother with her questions. Lastly as my mother entered the studio she had passed payton and another girl leaving as their shift ended to now we know as payton stating " i dont know she looked at us and was a complete bitch". Im not sure how these teenagets think businesses are run but it is not though being rude and bad work ethic. Will not be returning and I suggest others dont as well. read more

This place is great for individuals, dates, and group parties. There's a sitting fee plus the cost of the item that you choose. Some days there are deals that waive the sitting fee. They have great pottery selection for kids and adults and many colors and textures to choose from. My kids love it here as they are free to express their creativity. Had to leave and go to a store 20 minutes away because they wouldn't let us paint piggy banks literally on a cart intended to be stocked. Said I had to wait until tomorrow. Speaking to another store, I was told the was only if it was a new item, which it wasn't. Grossly overpriced!! They have all these pretty designs in the window to entice you to schedule a time to come in but when you want to duplicate a piece....GOOD LUCK! Paid $49.50 for a Christmas cookie plater. Got the run around for over 39 mins as to how to pick your design. Finally traced the the plate I wanted to duplicate. The supplies are pretty limited and brushes look like they should have been thrown out years ago!! It's super frustrating when you go there and want to make a nice pics of pottery only to have tools like look like I was ready for a preschool project!! Place is mostly run by much younger folks who don't seem to know the answer to anything. Spend your money elsewhere! read more

I had my young daughters birthday party at this location and they took very good care of us. Although it is on the pricey side, their customer service is great and offer a variety of helpful tips and tricks on being a true artist. Good place for a date or time with your kids, but very expensive. There is a sitting fee and then you have to pay per piece size, the bigger the more expensive. I got a small lantern the size of an orange for $15 + sitting fee. For my son and I - $60 total. First time here. Walked in on a Friday around 1. We were asked if we had a reservation. I said no, I didn't know we needed one. Girl says no problem, take a look at the wall & have a seat. So not really knowing what to do, we each choose a little item from the wall and sit down and wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. Finally I go back to the counter and tell them we are ready to paint. She says hang on someone will be right with you. And we wait. Again. So then someone finally comes to explain the paint which is all basically self serve. Once we got the hang of things it was fun, but if you don't know what is going on here it's very confusing. When we were ready to leave, once again we did not know what to do. I think they need a better system of explaining things to beginners. Overall I think the kids had fun. We had a coupon for studio fees and spent around $40 for 4 painting the smallest items. Jan2017 - The majority of our creativity time in 2016 was spent with a competitor after a number of disappointing occurrences at the beginning of the year (see prior review). In December we decided to give them another try and have been here three times in a month and have had positive experiences each time. Mousy guy is gone and the team working here now seems to really be on their game. We did have an issue with a piece being damaged in the glazing process but a young lady did a great job fixing the piece for my daughter and even asked us about it on our next visit. So I can't take them up to a 5 at this point but they've been removed from the 'don't ever go there' list. PRIOR REVIEW - Jan2016 So I really do love As You Wish but have had a less than stellar experience the last few times at this location. First off, I called and made a reservation. We arrived right on time to a full house and no table available. But I have a reservation so how can that be? Well your reservation wasn't put out said the mousy young man helping me...the same one that took my reservation! Grrrr....so there's a table leaving and he secures it for us in the back corner...great! Then pulls out a card table and squeezes it into the small space near us to make room for another family. Now neither of us can squeeze in and out without disturbing the other...not great! Fast forward a few days. I'm back to pick up our masterpieces just to find the doors locked. I look at the time posted on the window. It says 6pm on Sunday's. It is indeed Sunday and it's only 5:30. I check my watch AND my phone just to be sure. There are people inside so I knock on the door. My favorite (note sarcasm) mousy employee comes to the door after rolling his eyes and explains that they 'technically' closed early today. So until this location pulls it's collective head out of its @$$ I'll sadly need to stick with a low rating. read more

It was a crowded day and the party host stayed close by and helped out. However, a few days later when we picked up the finished pottery for the party guests, an extra piece was in the bag that belonged to someone else. When I called the studio I was told to "bring it back". The studio is quite far away and it will be difficult to run another errand to that part of town anytime soon. read more

I like the place, it's fun to do. First trip was for Valentine's day. We did go back to do plate and bowl later on. My only issue is, it's quite expensive. For my husband and i to do a mug each (first trip), it was 48$. They charged almost 15 dollars for a mug. When i looked up the same mug online it was 6$. For second visit it was almost 70$ for 2 plate and two small bowls. Back home in Oregon they do not charge a sitting fee (the one by my house doesn't) so i was a little disappointed that they do here. Although It is fun, it's just expensive. We will go back some day but not for a while. read more

Like the environment and staff is very helpful and friendly. Tables are automatically cleaned after every sit in. And paint brushes, water bowls, sponges, paint plates are constantly being cleaned. Utensils and paint are easy to access and if there isn't the paint you need or if that color was out staff was accommodating. I only give four stars due to the price of the pottery which is expensive over what you could get at a pottery store. $50 for a cookie jar....I expected a detailed pot like a mermaid or owls would be more or around. But ig your paying for the pottery, to paint, glazed and fired oh yeah and $8 for adults and $6 for kids to paint. So as a business owner I could see the profit in keeping the business opened. So ig it's reasonable I would attend again! read more

Place is a bigger wreck than ever. It's as though they fight business. Ten or so tables you have to reserve or not bother coming even tho tables are open. Why not just fill the tables until the next reservation arrives....some of the reservations marked on the tables were and hour and a half out. Then around Xmas time, when people are buying gifts and don't want others to see the charge on a debit card....they refuse cash over $20 when every piece in the place is $30 or higher???? Just post a sign that says we don't except real money, we don't like it.... read more
