We booked this for 8 people well in advance. The person booking was friendly and helpful. I got a reminder a bit before and then a confirmation text the day before. We were helped by friendly staff at opening and had a table waiting for us. They offered to give us tips or help and just let us do our thing. Each interaction was great from asking for restroom to cleaning up at the end. They all smiled and helped- great staff! The place was clean. They had a good selection of pottery and something for each of the 8 people painting that day. They had tons of paint to choose from and were very organized. Highly recommended this place!

I went to this location for the first time for my friend's birthday. We had a great time painting pottery. Staff were helpful and provided instructions on painting on pottery. The place was cozy and inviting. Highly recommend the experience and making reservations in advance.

I love going to As You Wish and it's always a memorable time. I stopped by on New Years day with the family and we were told that they closed at 6pm that day. It was 4pm so we figured we had enough time. We picked our pottery, grabbed our paints, and sat down. The employee had already wiped down the table and had everything set up for us. We all chose something different. Our pottery included, one strawberry coaster, one heart coaster, one squared coaster, a vase, and a little mushroom. The hour and 45 minutes we had to paint went by sooooo fast and one of the workers went around reminding everyone of the early closing time when it was near. We cleaned up, put everything away, and checked out when it was time. Checking out was quick and the worker was friendly. We spent about $130 for all five of us, including the studio fee and it was fun.

A friend and I came here today on our day off. It was so fun! I've gone to other pottery places in the past and enjoyed my experience here very much. Other places I've gone have you raise your hand every time you need more paint which can be frustrating when it's crowded or understaffed. I love that you can get up and grab your own paint colors here. The employees here were so nice! They even wash your palettes for you- something I've had to do on my own at other places. I'm excited to get my dish back! I will 100% be back to this location- it's such a fun activity, especially during these hot summer months.

I never been here before until this past Wednesday with a couple of my friends. We entered when it open, so we were sat right away. The employee was super friendly and explained what to do and showed us where items would be at for our creations. This place is time consuming so plan accordingly. This place is great for all ages and engages in creativity. It was loads of fun and relaxing. I enjoy my experience here and would come again for sure.

    So many pottery options!

This was the first time, I, as an adult, went to As You Wish with another adult. Once I got over the fact that internally I am more of an artist than my actual abilities demonstrate, I was having fun! I messed up, a bunch. I think the lady said after it's fired they may still show up but I'm confident I did a good job on my 'redos'. I was expecting it to take an hour and a half to two hours... well, it took far longer and though I had a concept, I didn't have a plan. A plan would have involved stencils I may have wanted to use for very specific characters rather than attempting at free drawing. Perhaps a layout even, rather than again, an idea. They have daily deals and so be sure to find out what those are and know you can take more than one visit to finish your product you just have pay the painters fee for your next visit, though you won't have to pay for your pottery again (obviously). What a cool way to spend an evening!

Came on our Founder's day to celebrate the 100th year of our Sorority. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. We had a party around 25 people. They had the area all ready for your party. It was so cool. We were able to sit near each and have access to our goodies to snack on. I love how accomodating they were. Any questions were asked quickly. They also were able to wrap each completed gift for our group. My finished product was ready 3 days later. I picked up mine separately since I need my cup for a tea party that I am hosting. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that the prices for the items were on items. I still dont know how much I paid since I was running out of time and had my friend pay with my credit card. I guess, I could go check bill. Anyhoo, I understand the prices probably fluctuate. However, some were sticker shocked. I previously been and knew that the bigger pieces weren't cheap. Positive note is that they have prepay for multiple sessions and I thought that was cool. But, for my friend who does pottery I would probably get the prepay membership.

This was just a fantastic experience - great for ANY craft lover and kids/teens and good quality time for whomever you go with. It is good for beginners as well! Reserve a table on their website and there's really no time limit of how long you have the table for EXCEPT be mindful of their closing hours. There is bathroom on site as well YOU CANNOT TAKE PIECES HOME THE SAME DAY: the pieces need to bake in the kiln after you paint and turnaround time is about 5 days. You can do ACRYLIC painting that you can take home that day BUT (1) it can stain your clothes and (2) it is nonedible (so you can't use it on the plates and mugs) We decided to try them as a quality time activity for me, my husband and his sister and we were all pleasantly surprised. We booked the activity for 3:30pm and finished up just in time to walk over to dinner about 2 hours later. My husband and SIL were done wayy before me but as the crafter, I got a little artsy with mine TYPES OF THINGS TO PAINT: figurines of all kinds (cacti, planes, unicorns, owls), serving trays, plates, jewelry boxes, ring holders, mugs, etc COVID PRECAUTIONS: The staff are sanitizing the paint bottles in between customers and are all wearing masks. Masks are NOT required for customers

The nice lady took a pic of us!!

We had the best instructor Steve. He was so friendly and an amazing teacher. Most of my friends had never taken a class before so it was fun to see them work and be creative! There's a nice little cafe where you can order drinks and there's so many cute things you can purchase in the shop as well. Overall such a fun thing to do with friends and family if you like pottery. Also when I picked up all our ceramic pieces the barista was so nice in assisting me! All the pieces turned out beautiful. I love taking classes at pip definitely a must try if you haven't done wheel throwing yet (:

We took over one of the larger tables; the entire eating area is small but calming and cozy. They have art studios attached and it was interesting to walk back and see the different rooms; most with some sort of pottery (hence the "clay"). They have lots of finished clay products on display and some were so creative! I ordered a cold brew with some cream and it was so good. I love a strong, cold coffee and this was perfect! I also ordered avocado toast which I made modifications to and only wanted some of the crispy onions on top, which I then ended up taking off. Food isn't their priority, although they do offer a limited selection of breakfast burritos, toasts, etc. Everyone was nice and friendly and overall it was a nice morning!

This wasn't just us, several people in our class had the same issue, and they had to call the owner to sort everything out before we could start. They also mentioned that we could bring our own drinks, which sounded great, but I wouldn't recommend it for the wheel-throwing class. We didn't open our wine as no cups were provided but there was also no time during the class to drink it. That said, our instructor, Callum, was amazing! Truly hands-on, patient, and made sure everyone left with a piece they were proud of, whether they chose to keep it or not. One thing to note: I wouldn't recommend this specific class for out-of-towners. If you want to keep your piece, the process takes about a month. First firing, then returning to paint, then a second firing. You also pay separately for any pieces you choose to keep and paint. Our class was $35 per person, and it's $20 per piece for firing if you plan to come back and paint it. It's a commitment, but also two fun experiences if you're local or don't mind returning. Overall, I'm taking off one star due to our specific experience with their wheel throwing activity, but I still think the concept of this place is great, and I look forward to coming back to paint my piece as well as to try a different activity!
