The other 8 were tied to a shipping label and never given to UPS. I reached out through their customer service email (x2), online customer support form (x1), customer phone (x2), and to the retail store (x1). Despite claiming they would respond in one business day, it has been 11 days and NOBODY has given me an update. Maybe it's backordered or there was confusion, but the lack of communication and refusal to address $130 in missing order is inexcusable. I had to file a credit card dispute to get my money back.

Hello Yelp friends!…read more We went to Lakeshore this time, in Arizona, to help our daughter get supplies for her summer camp. They had all the paint and paper she needed. She needed the big gallon jugs. She also opted for the huge roll of white paper and saved a bunch of money. The girls working were not only super friendly, but they were so knowledgeable and helpful. I shop at Lakeshore in Nevada a few times a year. When they have sales, specials, coupons, and when I'm prepping my room for the new school year. I love the variety and quality of the items they carry. I was excited for the deals we got with the 50% off coupon code online on the website. It is a buy one, get one 50% off. You can use it in store, too. I broke up the purchases so we could use it multiple times for more savings. Check it out!

Shelves are arranged by suggested age to make shopping easier. We went in for three gifts for varying ages and found some unique items, which is why we were avoiding big box stores and online shopping. My favorites were found actually by my 7 year old for a 1 year old friend and a 2 year old friend. @slumberkins has a line of stuffies, with matching books, that guides through emotional intelligence. Although we picked them by which stuffies were our favorites, they each had a great lesson: building connections and a growth mindset. I also grabbed a matching set of positive affirmation cards for kids. Great find! To top it off, the team member asked if these were each gifts and then put them each in a nice gift bag with matching tissue paper. What a wonderful and unexpected surprise! Wildlings Toy Boutique is located near Bethany Home and 16th st and is right next to Cafe Mollie, and across the street from Luci's Market (so stop by for some caffeine and a treat).

Imagine my delight to realize that the Changing Hands Tempe location was mere minutes away from our previous stop! Of course, we had to visit. I was immediately engrossed by the assortment of non-cheesy and extremely cool gift items that were at the front of the store, but also sprinkled throughout the location. I also really enjoyed that they had both new and used books. I try to limit myself to purchasing used books for environmental concerns, but it's tricky to find new titles pre-owned, so I justified a splurge and purchased two new books. The prices for both new and used books were extremely fair. In addition to the copious amounts of books, gift items, indie bookstore merch, and everything else wonderful, they also have a photo booth! My sister and I have an agreement to indulge in every photo booth we stumble upon, so we were super excited to happen upon one here. I can't say enough good things about this spot. I'm already excited to return.

You get to choose your color from a list and note it when you register on their website. It was $85 before tax and came with 5 skeins of yarn, with the option to add more (I think for an additional $15). I also put in the notes on my registration the names of my friends so that we could sit together. The workshop was at 6pm on a Friday and lasted about two hours. There was my group of three and three others, plus the owner/instructor Lauren. Her instructions were easy to follow, and she would jump in if we needed help. I made a few errors, and she was able to fix them for me. I ended up making my loops too loose on the outside and too tight on the inside, so my blanket came out a bit small. But I think it was decent for my first attempt. It's so soft. I keep it on my couch to use as a lap blanket. We all had a great time and would definitely come back to try other workshops. My coworker had tried one of the resin workshops and really liked it too.
