    I placed an online order for 3 pairs of Christmas earrings that were showing in stock and requested…read morepick-up for all 3 items (I needed these for several holiday parties/outfits that evening and this weekend). When I went to pick-up, they only fulfilled 2 pairs of the earrings. I asked why the 3rd pair was missing and the associate working in the pick up area said it's probably out of stock. I told her it was still showing in stock at their store and I was not notified that it was not in stock. I walked over to the Christmas earrings where the other two styles that were included in my pick-up order and there were 5 pairs of the earrings that they excluded. I ended up going to the checkout line and pulled up my app/order and asked the associate if she could release the fulfillment pending order and this should show it was fulfilled within the store/I picked up and charge my credit card that I placed the order or cancel the fulfillment pending and I can pay now. She told me she cannot do either and that they are going to ship the earrings to me. I told her I need them now for parties that is why I chose to pick up in person, She told me I'm going to have to call kohls.com and see if they can cancel the order. I asked her why did they do this when they were in stock on the shelf and imspecificsllynrequested to pick-up and she said well sometimes if they think it's a popular item and there are 1-5 left, they will leave on the shelf for the customers coming in the store, not customers ordering for pick-up ... WTH??? I do not recommend that you ever do a pick-up order at this store as this store as the sales associates are not trained or make any effort to provide assistance or find out the correct answers ... go into the store and find it yourself. I called Kohls.com and they said that they can only cancel orders in less than 10 minutes from when order was placed because AI automatically puts it in fulfillment status and once it's in that status, they cannot do anything and if I want to send back, I will have to pay the ship back cost. So the local Kohls store did not follow the customer order request, they did what they wanted to do and now I have to use my time/gas to go back to the store to return? By the way, it's prime Christmas shopping time and they only had one associate working the register at 5pm ... line was so long and I waited in line over 20 minutes because this issue could not go through the self checkout. I also went to the Sephora area when I was there and asked for assistance with a lip gloss I could not find and the girl acted like I was asking her to do the impossible. She said, if you don't see it we probably don't have it. I asked her if she could check the drawer where the brand/products were displayed and she gave me attitude because I asked her to look. I explained to her that I did not want to have to go to another location if they had it in stock because I have a party to go to soon. She then told me to go up the street to the stand alone Sephora store. I did go to the stand alone Sephora store and was immediately greeted when I walked in the door, asked if they could help and they found exactly what I needed. I told her that Kohl's associate sent me because she did not want to help me and the associate at the Sephora store told me that that is not the first time she's heard this and wonders why the Sephora still exists in Kohls ... my thoughts exactly. It's the lack of training of Kohls associates because the associates at the Sephora store are nice, knowledgeable and helpful.
