If I could give a zero I would the female door greeter who wears a cap all the time is rude and snippy.. Also they Never have any working handicap riding carts and only have 2 that work so the people who actually need them can't shop at this location because of the shortage..I have to drive out of my way to go to a Walmart that has access to the scooters. One day they're going to get sued because people who have heart conditions and are unable to walk alot will faint or even worse..Better your customer service and think about the disabled people. read more

It's surprising but Walmart has a lot of sauces used at fast food places. Subway, famous Dave's, BWW, etc (see photos) The chicken finger sauce is the Raising Canes sauce. It's very hard to get because they sell out quickly but it is legit. The chicken dipping sauce is Chick fil A. The chicken finger sauce is often sold out so read the labels. Terrible experience here at this Walmart. They changed the self check out to 15 items ONLY but they only employ 3 people to run the registers for everyone else so the lines are ridiculously long and the employees are rude because they're so busy and overwhelmed. Something I don't really understand, you might say, that part of town is rough, be cautious going there, or try to go in the daylight hours because it's safer. Why let your store going down to that level too? I see this at numerous stores that could stand out and be really clean or safe day or night, but some stores just don't live up to their own standards. When all else fails it's time to go to Walmart. It's the one place when you can get it all done in one store. Groceries, clothing, regular car maintenance, outdoor equipment, furniture, office supplies, bath supplies, over the counter medicines, pharmacy (limited hours), pet supplies, bicycles, and even electronics. The only bad part about going at night is that sometimes you catch them restocking the store. Unfortunately most of the time there are long lines for checkout, but there's always self- checkout if you think you can go faster. Overall my visit was good, I was able to find everything I needed and staff was great. read more

This is a tough review to write. It's Walmart so expectations are already pretty low, but should they be? I feel like they can do better but there are some positives. This particular store really is huge and has a lot of merchandise. Of course the prices are reasonable as one would expect from Walmart. I hate Wal Mart. Every single time I decide 'maybe I'll give it another shot' I am reminded about how horrible this place is. Can I get my beloved 32 oz pepperoncinis for $3? Yes, I can. Is it worth it? Currently that is a resounding NOT AT ALL. There is literally ONE human manning the checkout at the lightning fast speed of molasses while at least 20 other employees are milling around doing nothing as I have stood here for 25 minutes. You know you are in a bad section of town when the greeter at the Walmart doesn't even smile back at you or say "Welcome to Walmart!" when you walk in. I mean, they get PAID to do that! Was subjected to what appears to be homophobic abuse from a store associate in September 2020. My boyfriend and I were walking out of the store, holding hands, when a store associate saw us, crossed herself and said, quite audibly from where we stood, "Lord help me." Store management, as well as Walmart Corporate, were alerted to what happened as I have filed a complaint, and they said an investigation was underway. While I appreciate them investigating, it was the least they can do in terms of a potential employee misconduct, and does not absolve or other lessen the fact that I, along with my boyfriend, suffered from what appears to be an act of discrimination from a forward-facing member of Walmart. While I await the results of the investigation, I will refrain from shopping at this Walmart for the foreseeable future. read more

Huge Walmart with all kinds of security and a Cop on site. Looks clean inside and organized for such a big store. I think that's pretty awesome. Not as much help on the floor, but there's plenty or employees stockings and cashiers so I'm pretty sure it'll be easy to ask for help if needed be. There are Parking Lots for pick up when you order online and the inside have a section for Walmart pick up right when you enter on the left side. This Walmart is like a warehouse. They have Regal Nails, Subway and a First Convenience Bank inside. You can literally get your 15 mins walk a day here just by shopping, lol why not shop while you work out! Its should be a new thing because everyone is busy and sometimes a gym is overwhelming, well at least for me :p. Overall, I like this Walmart because even if it gets busy I know it'll be safe with all the security. read more

This Wal-Mart is one that is in my neighborhood and much better than the Baseline and Country Club location I reviewed recently. I know my way around this Wal-Mart, for one thing, plus everything is arranged in an easier order than the other place. I shop not just for clothes and music items here, but also for some of my grocery needs, as the prices here are cheaper on certain items than at Fry's, Albertson's, Safeway, & Basha's. This store is clean and well organized and every time I've been in there, the store associates have been really kind, friendly, and have even showed their humorous side a time or two. I mean, really, you'd have to have a sense of humor to work at Wal-Mart, because they have gotten so much negative publicity for their lack of benefits for their employees and for other reasons as well. I recommend this location because of its friendly, helpful employees & well put-together store. The ONLY drawback I have is the fact you can't turn into their parking lot from Priest/Grove Parkway. If you're coming down from that direction, you have to turn left onto Elliot Road & then take another left to get into the shopping center or go clear to the light and take a left there to get in at the other end of the complex. read more

Neva who works at customer service is extremely rude and makes up her own policies! I came in to exchange a car battery that has a 3 year warranty. They used a car battery tester and didn't understand the results. Then Neva told that employee to tell me that I needed to take it to "Auto Zone", make them test it and tell them to CHARGE it and then come back to Walmart with a yellow sticker. Which sounded absolutely ridiculous! I told that employee that I wanted to speak to a manager, the employee spoke to one of the managers. The manager told that employee to just exchange the battery. So I went to get a new battery and come back to Customer Service with a new battery but this time Neva was helping me. Neva did NOT want to exchange the battery because she wanted me to take my car battery to Auto Zone first! I told her that the manager said that I can exchange the battery. Neva was upset and didn't like this. She then went to speak to that manager, and the manger obviously said yes to the exchange. Then she comes back to me with a NEW excuse and told me that the THREE YEAR warranty on my battery already expired. I bought the battery on June, 27th 2019 and I have proof. I told her it's NOT past three years and I still had another year left on my warranty. I told her it expires on 2022, NOT 2021. She REFUSED to exchange the battery and told me to BUY a NEW battery and I'll save $15.00 if I buy it right then and there. She was extremely RUDE. I was tired from arguing with her and her lies so I left. I went to another Walmart and EASEILY exchanged the car battery with no problem at all. read more

Actually is probably zero stars for the pharmacy. They say walk-ins accepted for covid vaccines but then I get there today and see a sign that says no walk-ins allowed today. So I told the lady at the pharmacy that I'm an existing customer of the pharmacy and I would like to schedule an appointment for the booster. While there is a Walmart closer to me than this one, I prefer this one because it doesn't seem as cramped, congested or unorganized. Sometimes there are deals that a closer Target or other closer stores just can't beat, so Walmart here I come! I just needed basic household items on this run, and a few unique items that I found this store had in stock (through the Walmart app). The aisles and inventory aren't bad at all, but the hold up absolutely comes when it's time to checkout. On several occasions this store seems to always be short on cashiers, and the cashiers that they do have working tend to take their time even with visibly long lines. Self-checkout doesn't always solve the issue either, as those lines can be just as long. I haven't needed to receive any assistance on the sales floor by any associates yet, but for the convenience of being in and out, and having what I need, they get the job done. read more

This is what I say to myself anytime I choose to torture and self-flagellate by coming to this Walmart for ANYTHING. The things I have seen at this location cannot be unseen, from aggressive homeless people, near death car accidents due to horrible traffic patterns, screaming children, parents not taking care of said children, I avoid this Walmart at all costs. My SO and I call this the "ghetto Walmart" when we speak of it, and if having to choose we always go out of our way to frequent another one. The only good thing I have to say about this Walmart is that they have fantastic stock, if there is something you cannot find at another Walmart they will certainly have it at this one. Be aware that Walmart at the Tempe, AZ location (Priest road and Elliot ) charge you over posted sticker price (which is stealing from customers!). I bought yesterday some bag chicken that had a yellow sticker indicating that I could save $1.19 for a final price of $4.78. I bought it along with other items and did not realized that wgat I paid for that bag of chicken was $5.97 instead of the posted price. I came back later with my receipt and the chicken bag and the Manager on dut, Michael along with her partner and the cashier at the "Customer Service" window were VERY rud, and just decided to refund $1.02 because they decided that what it should be in their opinion. Walmart NEEDS to train employees better, not only on how to perform their job, but also on how to uphold the values of the company and treat customers with respect and honesty. read more

Run away! Go to any Walmart but this one...unless you are only going to people watch, I guess. I went here on occasion when I used to work down the street and when our car broke down here the other day, I unwisely decided to venture in for a few items while waiting for the mechanic to arrive. Overly crowded, odd layout in food section, the rudest and most inconsiderate clientele of any Walmart I have ever been in. Over the years at this store, I have mistakenly bought expired items, been hit in the head with a ball by a child old enough to know better (mother laughed instead of correcting him), witnessed a fight and stood in lines (even self checkout) for 25-30 minutes. There are carts everywhere in the lot and the store is dirty and unkept. I know what you're thinking..."but, Linds, it's Walmart...." No...this is the devil's spawn of Walmarts. Lol.
