While I have CVS Pharmacy locations closer to where I live, I drive by this particular location at…read moreleast once a week when heading to work. It is one of the two locations located at the Arizona State University Tempe Campus. Every now and then, when I need something on the way home from work or to work, I will stop by here out of convenience. I have interacted with the staff, purchased various products, and browsed the shelves for other items over the years. The store is sometimes a bit messy and sometimes very clean. It really depends on the day I stop by. For the most part, the store is easy to navigate. The staff is very friendly and helpful though sometimes it is difficult to find the staff in the store as the front of the store can be considered the back of the store, and the back of the store can be considered the front of the store due to registers on both sides. They also have products like ASU spirit items and clothing, which you won't find at all CVS stores. I have rarely ever waited to check out at this store. I encourage everyone to sign up for ExtraCare, which is a free membership and includes sales prices, deals for you, 2% back in ExtraBucks rewards, a $3 birthday reward, and up to $50 in ExtraBucks rewards at the pharmacy. Then, for $60 per year ($5 per month), you can purchase membership in the ExtraCare+ program, which includes $10 in ExtraBucks rewards per month, free same-day delivery, free shipping, free same-day Rx delivery, 20% off CVS Health brand products, and 24/7 pharmacist help line. Occasionally, there is a $48 discounted annual rate for ExtraCare+ or another promotion. I have heavily used the ExtraCare+ program over the past many years. Also, while the Black Friday CVS deals were incredible a number of years ago, now you can only get good deals but not incredible deals with free items. While I'm a huge fan of CVS in general and the ExtraCare+ program, the stores are hit or miss. I will gladly still come back to this store as need be in the future as it is certainly convenient, and I can get what I need here.

If they don't have it in stock they'll point you to the next closest CVS that does have it in stock. Downfalls: 1. Getting through the phone tree to talk to them is impossible and only leads to leaving them a voicemail. 2. Not sure about all medications, but for me they're regularly out of stock of at least one of my medications each time I pick up. 3. They have several manufacturers they alternate restocking medications with, and if you're sensitive to your meds like I am you'll be able to notice a difference in overall quality of the same medication from one manufacturer to another.

Student pharmacist retorted with attitude "no, you got here 1 minute before lunch time". Um... no I didn't. You were wrong. You made me wait for the pharmacist to fix YOUR error, not to mention why in 4 days have you not filled a Rx that was ready for refill, which I can't confirm when you don't answer the phone 12 times over 4 days. And the prices you see online are not always what's in the actual store. One could be way cheaper than the other, so hold on to those receipts or if you have the app, returns/exchanges are no problem! While you're here, there's a Starbies inside if you need anything lil pick-me-up while you shop. Employees are pretty helpful and friendly. This is one of the closer locations to my office, so it's great for drive-up orders too!

I went to get a money order to pay rent, considering that's what they have for services. I get coins and bills as tips. I use my own time and buy paper rolls for easier counting due to the fact that covid shut most banks down in the time being. So I had 7 rolls of $10 in quarters and maybe 5 in Dimes and nickels, and maybe 4 rolls of pennies. They literally denied me service and told me they wouldn't take my money. I tried to politely ask if I could talk to a manager and the gal at the desk didn't want to get a manager involved. One thing I want to mention is that I MYSELF worked as a front end manager of Albertsons, same company and I never denied a single customer of wanting to use change - because we have change counters!!:) takes about 3 mins to run change - if needed!! Most of the time you can tell if change is all there. The store manager proceeded to tell us to leave and as we were walking OUT of the store, and we were' tin the store, the manager proceeded to yell at us to get out of here when the security guard was talking and being civil with us! He was asking what was going on and told him what happen and the security guard agreed why they wouldn't take the change and was making us leave! (At this point we were out side and I was in tears because of how embarrassing this situation was.) The grocery manager at this point still proceeded to follow us outside, staring us down. I will never send any friends or spend a single penny back into this terrible company.
