What a cute connivence store. I love Turtle chips and they had a great selection of flavors. Clean and well maintained. The customer service was excellent. Lots of nice things to look at. I will definitely come back to stock up on some of my snacks.

Super cute k- pop mart nestled in the apartment complex neighborhood. Great selection of instant ramen , complete with quick cook induction machines. A variety of hot to hot food like goyoza , musabi, and eggrolls . As well as a small take out menu. Food was ok for something quick , the bagged drinks with ice were fun , the selection of chips were tasty. They also had the novelty peach and mango ice cream in a case by the door . Overall very kawaii- like environment , good selection , clean and worth stopping in if your in the shopping area , but I don't know that for the hassle of the traffic and parking I would go out of my way to shop there

Cute little pit stop for a cup of noodles and a cold fountain drink. Super kawaii!!!! A taste of Korea when entering. The service and staff were incredibly nice.

I would describe Busan Mart as a convenience store with a coffee shop, with a happy vibe! Not only were there various eats and drinks to choose from, there was also opportunity to indulge in your purchases at the tables provided. With microwaves to warm up your food and available "gumball-like machines" to buy cool trinkets, it's a store worth returning to! Cute little place. Convenience store with a Korean flair. Lots of choices of ramen. I would have loved to investigate the frozen section more (I saw ice cream) but I wasn't going home right after so I couldn't. Big beverage selection as well. Service was good. H llo when I entered, and kind and knowledgeable when I was checking out. If you are close check it out!

This place is so cute, clean, and fun! It's not that big of a location, but they do have a lot of goodies. Huge cold drink section with every flavor under the sun of anything you could think of. Several aisles of ramen and other snack bags of chips, cookies, you name it. They even have bigger bottles of Korean/Japanese alcoholic drinks on the back wall. They don't just have food, but like actual convenience stores, they even sell travel-size products to quickly pick up. The prices aren't the best (what convenience stores are nowadays?) but they have a great selection and if you and your friends came here wanting to make and eat some ramen, this is definitely the place to do so. They also had pre-made kimbap for I think a reasonable price for how fresh it looks. Speaking of fresh, this store is so clean - very much appreciated that. I will definitely be back to try out their ramen making station; I shouldn't have come right after eating (dang!)

If you're in the mood to try something new or even get some Korean beauty this is the spot for you. Located right by the beautiful Culdesac Tempe Apartment complex its adorned by beautiful string lights around it and lots of other cute local shops The store is full of unique snacks, food and trinkets you would only find at an Asian grocery store My main reason for coming was the hyped up Buldak ramen that has gone viral everywhere. I was sooooo excited to give it a try when I saw it here!! They had literally every flavor you can think of The staff was sweet and polite. The store was clean and decorated adorably! I'll be back for more ramen As for a convenience store 10/10 on pricing as well!

Took my son here because he enjoys trying Korean snacks and I also do them post that they had spam masubi, which is one of my favs. We went in on Labor Day shortly after they opened. The girl at the front greeted us and was nice. She chatted with me a bit. The store is big and very clean. We got a few different items. We were mostly intrigued by their drinks. We were also looking for the Korean version of some of the snacks like Kit Kats and stuff but they didn't have any. We'll definitely be stopping in again.

Love that this convenience store opens til 11pm!! Everything I bought was fire considering it was all prepackaged goodies! Highly recommend getting the Oden and tuna mayo kimbap, squid salad, and spam musubi!!! Such a great, cute little store if u're wanting a quick variety of grab n go Asian fix!! All kimbap rolls are 50% off from 9pm til close, or until they're sold out daily!!

Out of all places, I definitely was not expecting to find a Korean convenience store in Arizona. This place is so cute and lives up to the kdramas. They have lots of ramen, snacks, drinks, hot food items, and kimbap. It was so fun to cook the ramen in the bowl on the self serve station. You know I had to get the best drink ever, banana milk! @cravingswithcat

Btw avid Gen go-er at the Tempe location from 2021 and been going to Gens from California Cerritos location since 2016. My to-go experience: I ordered uber eats pickup for a bogo 4 meat special. As soon as I walk in the app is telling me the food is ready, however I notice it's busy so no worries on an extra wait I can go walk around the marketplace. I'm waiting as the hostess is attending to people there, again no worries. She acknowledges me and I tell her I have the pickup, she instantly says I don't know about your order, they usually bring it up (to the front desk) or we have to grab it from the back. So I ask if she knows how much longer the order will be, and she almost cuts me off saying as you can see we're really busy so I don't know. I then ask if there's any system or way to check how much longer and she gives me a disgusted look and says again "we're busy so I don't know 10 minutes? I can't say, so yeah" and looks away mad. I don't mind if a place is busy, but if it's gonna be 30 minutes vs 3 minutes I would appreciate knowing so I can know when to be there to pickup. It took approx another 8 minutes till the food was ready. I don't mind the wait, however asking how long the food will be and having the ability to walk 1 minute into the kitchen and asking is not a crazy expectation, let alone being rude about it. She literally sat there looking at the table sheet after the interaction. I would get if there was a line of people but when I talked to her I was the only person in the front! My dine in experience: All I have to say about this one was my friend and I arrived around 11:05am for the lunch special and there were 4 groups ready to eat. We were the second ones in line and got seated 5th (another couple walked in and they sat them first). We were attended to 4 times after the initial introduction, 3 of them I had to wave them down because they kept forgetting to bring stuff and would ignore us. They had three servers plus the manager on duty. All in all this place had gone downhill the past three years and has not been the same. I usually go to mana but sometimes I like to check back in to see if it returns to it's former glory like the Chandler location, however I don't think management hires enough waiters and they have poor communication within the facility, as well as a RUDE FRONT DESK lady (only one of them, the other I didn't talk to). Take my advice as you will, but there are other options that absolutely take the cake over this place.

Any waiter that hears the bell comes to your table to assist. The response never took longer than 20 seconds most of the time. To start the appetizer tray at the beginning is an awesome touch that I'm not used to in other places I have tried. It kind of took the guess work out of ordering in my opinion so I only had to focus on what meat or dish I wanted since my sides were already selected and refillable for free through the course of the meal. We ordered the seafood sundubu, beef bulgogi, and sweat and spicy korean fried chicken wings. The portion size was very generous on the wings and on the crispier side which my wife prefers. The seafood sundubu was delicious and was pleasantly surprised to see a decent amount of tofu and seafood types in the dish. The beef bulgogi was also tasty and as I said before just scratched that korean food craving that we had. This has been added to our rotation of date night locations for us! On the table there is a button to call the waiter for ordering or for any other needs. Each Korean restaurant seems to offer a bit of variety in their dishes, and sometimes a specialty dish that the others Korean restaurants do not. We started off with seafood pancake and it had shrimp, octopus and large green onion. I would have appreciated a bit more seafood, but it was cooked crispy on the outside and nice and thick. The dipping sauce was very good. We ordered beef bulgogi ssam-bap (serves 2) which traditionally can be eaten with a lettuce wrap, garlic and ssamjang (non-spicy red paste). It arrived with a diverse tray of greens, perilla leaves and carrots, samjang and garlic. The greens were enough to feed kennel of at least four rabbits. The beef was a fair amount however it was overcooked. It also arrived with a soup and ban chan of 8 items. These provide a variety of the traditional side dishes, or ban chan of Korean food. We also ordered a cold namyeong soup with a side of kalbi. The soup had daikon radish and is traditionally eaten in the summer. The kalbi had the tender soft meat that is its highlight. Overall, we had a great experience and while Korean food is traditionally a meal that runs about $20 a person, it has an aesthetic presentation, it is flavorful, especially with umami, and it is fairly healthy. I would definitely return again and it is a great place to enjoy the meal with other others.

They have the best cucumber kimchi I've ever had, and fantastic kimchi soup that's not too spicy. The beef belly and bulgogi were our favorite meats. I didn't feel waited on, I felt like I was just generally seen. There's a doorbell if you need something quickly. Otherwise all staff were super friendly and anticipated our needs with grill changes which was nice. The atmosphere is great. It's small and casual but very comfortable and upscale at the same time. It feels very relaxed while maintaining a high standard. The music is great (for us), all kinds of EDM at a good volume. And no TVs, which is actually nice - it let us focus on the vibes, the food, and each other. Many other parties were laughing and having a good time. We spent about 130 between the two of us, having ordered an XL combo and an extra side (chicken buldak - I couldn't eat the noodles but the chicken was bomb). We were able to snag happy hour deals for the chili edamame and the Las Vegas and spicy yellowtail rolls. The rolls were very tasty and came out in less than 5mins. The edamame.... THE BEST edamame I've had to date. These are a required must-try for anyone going here. We decided to try a hot pot for the first time and went with a fan favorite spicy seafood pot. I was scared it would be fishy, which I don't like. But it was in a tonkotsu broth (pork bone broth) so the seafood flavor was just in the seafood itself, which was perfect for me. It was so good. Not very spicy though, and I think that would level it up a bit. Off happy hour, it is a bit pricey. There were only a couple of tables being served, yet our drinks were never refilled, our table wasn't bused, and our rice never arrived with our hot pot soups even after our server asked if we wanted it. It seemed to be forgotten. What really stood out was that we ended up eating dessert with a table full of dirty dishes still sitting in front of us and empty drinks that had not been refilled. I also noticed that the table next to us appeared to receive much more attentive service. Their drinks were refilled, their dishes were cleared promptly, and staff regularly checked on them to see if they needed anything. In comparison, our table received very little attention. I don't know why there was such a difference in service. It left me wondering whether we were being treated differently, though I can't say for certain. The tuna and salmon pieces were a little fishy, maybe not the freshest, but it was also quite late (~10pm) so I wasn't expecting too much. Beautifully presented, and the cuts were quite large which was nice! The food came out pretty fast, and the service was pleasant. The restaurant vibes are pretty dark, and moody. The bathroom was kind of scary personally, super dark and a little messy, so I decided to wait till I got home. Overall, a solid experience, and definitely a good choice if I am in the area.
