Pho restaurant little out of the way and I decided to give this place a try. Nice clean restaurant and friendly staff. Ordered special Pho with all the meat as I always do. Waitress told me since it's my first time I get a choice of free appetizer. I was like wow, that's nice.. So i orders Goi coun.. Well got my free appetizer which was one. I guess that's better then nothing. It was still nice gesture, and it tasted pretty good. Waitress also asked me if I wanted thin or thick noodle for my Pho which threw me off, since nobody ever gave me that option. Got my Pho and broth tasted pretty good. Little bit on the thicker side and pretty clean tasting. All the meat inside was also pretty good. Over all Pho tasted pretty good and it was better than some of other places. The price tag of almost $18 and bowl being little on the small side was little downer. Also surprised to see handling fee on my bill. I'm like what the heck is this? I mean it was only $. 54 but don't like surprised fees. Over all not too bad but I can't see myself driving out here to have Pho.

We walked over to our local Pho Dalat authentic Vietnamese restaurant for a little something special for Saturday. We have been here several times before, and the food and service does not disappoint. Casual atmosphere, a nice calming ambience, and the food is phenomenal. Clearly by the amount of people coming in for dinner, it does not disappoint.

This was a last-minute call as I was in need of some internal warming (hence some Pho). They were open later than others, which gave me time on a rainy evening. Upon arrival, the customer service was super friendly to help me choose 2 different types of Pho's and it only took about 10 minutes for the order to be ready. Everything was packaged nicely and when I got home, everything was still hot and ready to assemble. Overall, it was a good call. There was a good balance of ingredients that made the dish taste fresh, and it wasn't too heavy. It came packaged nicely to easily assemble with the rice noodles, sprouts, onions, fresh herbs, and brisket (the other was chicken). Once combined, it was hit. Only thing missing was some chopsticks, but I had plenty at home. Close to home, so I will return and will dine in for the full experience.

Service is pretty good. However, the food is truly awful. I got Mi Lakai today, and it was terribly dried and salty. Proteins (bbq meat, chicken meat, meatballs) were dried, the noodles were dried, like everything was just thrown in there without heating or blanching the meat and noodles. Please improve the food, it's getting worse and worse...

Walked in Saturday evening with my GF - no wait at all plenty of seating. Place has a clean modern look to it but I knew it was authentic with the Vietnamese event posters outside the restaurant. On the front page of the menu they showed the clams, and they looked good so we ordered that and of course some pho. The clams were very good - 9/10 for me strong ginger flavor in this savory sauce. There's also cilantro and onions soaked in that sauce that's tasty with the clams. You can choose your spice level 1-5, and I opted for 3 to play it safe. Not too much heat but can tell it was there. The pho was very interesting. I thought the broth was VERY fatty/oily, but it provided a strong beef flavor; however, I couldn't get over the lack of spices I note in the broth. You could taste the usual pho spices (star anise, cinnamon, etc.), but was overpowered by the fatty richness of the broth in my opinion. I think it fills you up as a result and also helps the noodles be slick. Not that much beef (like really only a few slices huge bummer), but overall I thought it was not bad pho at all. Service was good, made recommendations after I asked and was really good on checking up on us throughout the meal. However, there was no side plates on the table options to pour your sauce in and also no chopsticks - we had to ask for them. I'm glad that it's even closer to me than Pho Chandler and Khai Hoan so I was really hoping it was better, but honestly I'm not sure if it is. I think it comes down to if you like your broth to be fatty and richer beef flavor taste.

Pho Da Lat. Have had better pho, have had worse pho. This place still deserves five stars for their amazing customer service and attentiveness. Yelpers, Yelpees, and Yelperettes: Please heed notice. There are no more $8 dollar pho bowls in Phoenix. Wake up and smell the pho, everything costs a lot more now. From gasoline, to groceries, to a little bottle of store branded water. Minimum wages contribute to cheap culinary delights. Many would argue that minimum wages have nothing to do with cheap culinary delights, well, I beg to differ. Wherever the costs of doing business are higher, food costs are also higher. Pretty simple if you think about it. Anyways, bang for the buck you will not go wrong with this pho spot. Restaurant is nicely organized, background music (top 40) is noticeable but not obnoxious, restrooms are clean, service is quick and attentive. After sitting in for over an hour I could not think of any reason to not give this place their well deserved five stars. Good job. Jordan

The food, ambience & service is good. It's the only place closest to ahwatukee that has decent pho.

The ginger clams were good, refreshing from the ginger and cilantro. A little sweet and a little spicy. Got a few bites of sand (or shell?) but overall very good. I got a spice level of 3 but would probably get more spicy next time. The pho was pretty good, had a strong beef flavor. It was a bit oily and not too much meat inside, but overall pretty good. The broth didn't taste murky like some other pho spots I've been to.

The service is great here our waiter was so accommodating and helpful. They have honey, chili paste, siracha, hoisin sauce most condiments if you ask. The pho is out of this world delicious. And I highly recommend the spring rolls. This is my go to pho place it's so delicious every time.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect. I'm excited to see the future of this establishment,

I really wanted to like this spot, especially as a fan of a well-balanced bánh mì. The sandwich was generous and good value, loaded with meat, but the execution didn't quite come together. The vegetables were tucked toward the back of the bun, making it hard to enjoy that classic balance in each bite. The mayo was far too heavy and the meat leaned overly sweet, which threw off the overall flavor. It also could have used more jalapeños and cilantro to bring some freshness and contrast. The bread was crispy, which was nice, but it was much larger in size and shape than a traditional baguette, leaning more toward a big roll than that light, airy texture you'd expect. Overall, good value but missed the mark on balance and authenticity for me. Saluti.

My aunt was served a bowl that was dirty on the outside (yes... the bowl, not just the table -- see the photo I attached). Not exactly appetizing... and she didn't eat it at all, it was completely untouched. We told the staff immediately, and instead of, I don't know.. like maybe apologizing or replacing it like a normal restaurant?.. They basically said it was our fault and still charged us for the untouched dish. So just to confirm: you can serve dirty dishes and still get paid? That is a interesting business model, I've never seen anything like it! Then they hit us with a 20% service fee, which is honestly kind of iconic considering the service was: * ignoring customers * denying what we clearly told them * and charging us anyway Like... thank you for the experience I guess??? And to top it off, after I actually ate there, I had the worst stomach ache and diarrhea. So NOT only do you pay for food you don't eat, you might also leave with a free health issue! LOVE THAT!!! As someone who is Vietnamese, this was just embarrassing. You expect better standards, better hospitality, and at the very least... clean bowls??? Overall, if you enjoy paying for untouched food, being gaslit, and risking your stomach, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd look for somewhere else to eat.

The first time I had it, I actually couldn't stop thinking about it because I was genuinely surprised with how good it was. I also noticed that they are very consistent with the taste of the broth. Usually when I get pho, the broth doesn't always taste the same but here at Saigon it does. The broth is very rich and savory. I also noticed they add a lot of noodles which I love but I also wish they added more broth. The meat is also very tender, I always go with the brisket and it always tastes great. I personally like my soup to have extra green onion, unfortunately if you do ask for extra there is a charge of $2. I also recommend the egg rolls, they're packed with flavor and honestly it's just a good appetizer to have before your pho. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very spacious. Every time I've gone there's never any wait. The service has also been great, I've had maybe 1 time where it wasn't as great but it was still good. The food always comes out fresh and very hot. Overall, I love this restaurant so much and I will continue coming back!

The ambience is super comfortable, easy, casual. But, it's *super* loud, like really, really loud. The 4 of us had to literally scream, top of our lungs, to hear each other, and these aren't big tables, it's tight in there, so you're very close together. We left with sore throats from yelling. It felt like "a relief" when we stepped out front. After 2 hours sitting in the wooden seats, my butt was also relieved to be getting up. Parking is ridiculous, it's a very thin one way driveway with *no way to turn around* when you reach the end - back it up! Super tiny parking lot. Food: the food was very good. We ordered 6-8 things for the 4 of us because all items are pretty small. Top section of the menu are called smaller items. They were. Items on the bottom section are bigger, but not big. For perspective, when the 4 of us split an item from the bottom "entree section" we each got 2-3 bites/forks-full. So a full entree for one person is 8-12 bites. All items tasted very good, clearly high quality, well curated and definitely unique to this restaurant. The steamed white rice was hot, steamy, moist and sticky, really good. The Panang Chicken was really good, different, creamy, dark, rich and smokey. I added pictures of the menu, inside, patio, bar and a few food items so you can see for yourself. Would I go back? I would because the service was great, visual atmosphere was comfortable, and food was high quality, but turning the music volume down at least 1/2 way from what we had would go a long way,... a looooong way, seriously. Increasing the portion size of menu entrees would also be an improvement since they're about the same price as larger portions elsewhere. And throw some cushions on those inside wooden benches, our butts will thank you. Overall this was a good first visit and I'd try Glai Baan again, hoping for the same great service, quality food and updates to the other items.
