Small inside but PACKED with flavor. I am so happy this place was close by! We were craving flavor but didn't want a heavy meal. We were seated immediately followed by ice water we didn't have to ask for. Our waitress was a nice lady who was very helpful once she found out it was our first time. I ordered the well done brisket phǒ and my friend ordered the a spicy chicken dish (S10 on the menu) When I tell you the pho was AMAZING do not add anything in the broth. It's really good without the additional sauces. Maybe a squeeze of lime or Thai basil but it didn't need it. At the very end of my bowl I decided to hoisin sauce and Sriracha and I regretted it so leave the broth alone. Hahaha.

This is always a pleasant experience visiting Saigon Bowl. Staff are nice and efficient. The place is really clean with a nice atmosphere. The meals ordered were BM1,a grilled sausage Banh mi (sandwich) and P6, Chicken Pho (soup with noodles). A separate plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, limes and basil is given to add to the soup. Their food service is quick and fresh. Both meals were excellent. I asked for a take out container. Staff came by and packed my meal for me, how nice! Good to visit this place again! Shared parking.

Subpar at best. This is Pho for "the ppl" that live in scottsdale and never been to a real Vietnamese Pho restaurant. Apps were decent though

I met my friend here for an 11:30 AM Tuesday lunch. When you walk in the atmosphere has a little bit more of modern feel in decoration versus a typical Asian restaurant. The place seem clean except for the glass doors you enter from. Our server was OK, can't say he was overly friendly, in fact seemed very annoyed when my friend asked for water with no ice. We ordered the (P2) Pho with Slices of Eye Round Steak and an extra side of Tripe (for $3.00 extra) and a (P6) Pho with White Chicken Meat. I also ordered a Jasmine Ice Tea. Ordering was fast and delivery of orders were fast. The fresh side veggie topping were abundant. The Pho itself was good. Was it a Wow for the price a P2 with Tripe and an Ice Tea $20.29? So much competition out there. Atmosphere: nicely decorated. Service: could be friendlier. Food: good.

Lovely little cafe. Spring rolls were fresh (a lot of lettuce) but I prefer with carrots, mint and/or cilantro so not repeatable for us. Server never checked back on us. Other patrons had pho so maybe we just chose wrong.

4/23/25 We are back, on our way back to Mesa from Phx. Ambiance 5/5 Refer to previous reviews. Food 5/5 My Wife got her Sprinkles as we passed through Scottsdale so I chose the lunch stop. It was a tough choice (Not Really). It was easy, the Saigon Bowl is Scottsdales and likely the Valleys best Vietnamese restaurant! They serve authentic dishes with fresh ingredients. We ordered their Spring rolls starter, my wife picked the P4, Pho Chin (Brisket bowl) and Vietnamese Coffee . I never change, decades of the B4 Bun Doc Biet (Beef, Shrimp and mini egg roll Vermicelli Bowl). Served with a side of traditional fish sauce and I always paint it well with Siriacha Hot sauce Yummy! The food is always excellent and I ordered another B4 takeout for dinner. My wife loved her Brisket bowl (first time ordering) her Iced Coffee and she said she would get it again! Service 5/5 The servers are always prompt, and attentive throughout the meal. Our Tea refills always on time. $74.93 without tip for Starters, Coffee, endless Tea, and three entrees.

I had never heard of this place before, but was looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant in the area, so decided to check it out. I ordered a fresh spring roll with grilled tofu. So good! The tofu is crispy since is is grilled. I love the rice paper wrapped spring rolls and it was nice to see that this place had several different kinds to offer. I also ordered a vermicelli bowl with grilled shrimp, which was also excellent! It had rice noodles on top of salad greens and the grilled shrimp were perfectly cooked. My husband ordered a bowl of pho, which he also really enjoyed. Service was good and ambiance was clean and quiet.

When you think of Arizona, you may not think of Vietnamese food. But I was craving a banh mi and my friend had never had one, so we stopped by Saigon Bowl. The food was exactly what I needed. The boba was a really reasonable price (about $6), which is great and much lower than a boba-only place. The food came out quickly, and the server was very kind. It was a little quiet inside the restaurant (but we went at sort of an unconventional meal time). There was pleasant music playing that wasn't too overpowering or distracting. I would recommend this restaurant!

Definitely recommend this place!!! Food is fresh, so tasty, and the service was wonderful!! We can't wait to go back!!

Service was friendly and attentive but the overall taste was very bland unfortunately, I think mine was a ratio issue with the ingredients, more mixed green than anything else. Peanut sauce had an odd consistency of being gelatinous than smooth. Again I can't stress the server was very kind and polite.

It's close to the house, easy for a laid-back lunch, and one of those places you end up recommending without even thinking about it. I've worked my way through most of the menu at this point, and I honestly can't remember a single miss. The food is consistently fresh, full of flavor, and cooked the way it should be. No shortcuts, no off days. I usually land on the crispy rice clay pot, which has that perfect mix of texture and depth. My wife goes straight for the lemongrass rice plate every time and doesn't even consider switching it up. That alone tells you something. We almost always start with a couple orders of spring rolls. Mix it up depending on the mood. They're light, fresh, and a good way to ease into the meal without overthinking it. The place itself is on the smaller side, but that's part of the charm. It feels relaxed, not cramped. Clean every time we've been in, which is something I notice more than I probably should. Service hits that sweet spot too. Attentive, friendly, but they're not hovering over your shoulder while you're trying to eat. Prices are more than fair for what you're getting, especially considering how consistent everything is. If you're anywhere near Scottsdale and want Vietnamese that just gets it right without making a big show of it, this is an easy choice. We keep coming back, and that's about as honest a review as it gets.

The staff here are so kind it really made the experience of having to wait a bit so much better! The gentleman at the front door recommended a wine bar around the corner to wait at after we got on the list, which was a cute divey spot. The food was delicious, we loved the papaya salad so much, there were so many flavors of spicy and tangy, and the papaya itself was very refreshing. We had the Pad kee mao and Panang curry which were also delicious. For the chicken pad kee mao we requested it to be gluten free and they gave us the same rice noodles as the Pad Thai and a slightly different sauce which was so darn good! The chicken was very tender. When the Panang curry said it came with beef, I didn't know what to think but after a single bite I was a huge fan! So many flavors hit you at once and the beef was so incredible, it was falling part. I also ordered the savory cocktail option (I can't remember the name) which had cucumber vodka, fish sauce, mint, onion, and some other goodies, and wow! It changed my life. Highly highly recommend. Overall would definitely come back here, we were a walk in on a Saturday night and had an hour and a half wait to get in.

Protein fillings were not skimpy at all- the grilled pork was not overly salty, the pate was a nice thin creamy flavorful layer, and the fried egg was perfect and fluffy to top. An employee quickly cleared the table without hesitation, wiping it down and giving us a pleasant greeting. He was also clearing plates through the small space. It looked like there was just one person working the counter and he was also helping to cook. Everything was cooked to order. We ordered a BBQ pork banh mi, spring rolls, and a pork eggroll noodle bowl (which is my newest obsession). The vegetables on the sandwich were fresh and flavorful; we had some inconsistent knife cuts on the pork resulting in "a big 'ole hunk of meat" on one side of the sandwich, but no big deal. A few issues for me, which may not be a deterrent to you: The rice noodles were overcooked to my taste and my noodle bowl was missing the crunch of bean sprouts! Those same mushy noodles were in the spring rolls. We both didn't care for the addition of bacon in the spring roll and the peanut sauce was the consistency of peanut butter, but we mixed it with siracha and made our own little spicy sauce. All in all a friendly, clean, and inviting place!
