Went for lunch and ordered the edamame and two sushi rolls. The place was pretty quiet with only 1 other table the whole hour and half we were there. The server was nice. The ambiance is mediocre nothing special. The food wasn't very impressive- the edamame came in with the main meal- which I wish it came sooner. The vegas roll which I ordered seemed like a bit thick on the outside and pieces were a bit thick, so bites were a bit harder. with the amount of sushi places in town, not sure this is one worth a second visit. read more

One of my favorite places to go dine it. You order on a kiosk and there are workers there who are happy to help if you have any questions. My personal favorites are the yellowtail nigiri and the white fish nigiri. My friend got a roll and miso soup and said they were both delicious. The sushi is always fresh and the service is very fast. I come here for takeout at least 3 times a month. The inside is very cute and chill. Highly recommend for dining in the happy hour menu is fantastic!! Will be coming back!! read more

Very generous slices of sushi, the happy hour whitefish and Escobar were very fresh. I enjoyed the salmon love add cream cheese to finish. Not too spicy which was great. The parking lot and surrounding area are not fancy and decor inside very simple but food was great. Lots of regulars and take out orders. And above all, Karla"s service was impeccable. What a doll! I'm a bit confused. Working in the food industry I know how rude and inconvenient it is to order close to the store closing. After debating with my fiancé. We finally ordered. However it was 29 minutes from closing and the store said they were closed. No worries online orders and such 30 min from close I understand. So we drove there and arrived at 9:36pm. Was told last call was at 9:30pm. Didn't know this was a bar. But from what I'm saw everything has been cleaned thoroughly. I appreciate the cleanliness of this spot but don't appreciate the store hours. I would recommend changing the store hours to be closed at 9:30pm. The quality went downhill drastically a few months ago. The last 3 times I've ordered from here the salmon wasn't cut properly, the fishy connective tissue is still attached making it taste disgusting. I also weigh my portions to track what I eat and servings are about 20-30 grams less than they were this fall. read more

Great option for to-go. They use toast for their online ordering platform which is super easy and you can get text updates. My order was ready within minutes. I live around the corner so very convenient to pick up. They have a huge menu with all kinds of sushi and sashimi options as well as other items. I had the seaweed salad and the seared tuna sashimi. You can pay at the screen or at the cashier, then wait for your name to be called. It's the takeout version of the full-service restaurant with the same name, offering quick service. The sushi is good--not great--but the price is very reasonable. Service can be hit or miss, depending on your server, and sometimes I'd prefer their robot server instead! However, the portions are incredible for the cost, and the location is clean and rarely too busy. The fish is fresh and the cuts are generous. The presentation is very good. I have a problem with the sushi rice, because it doesn't have enough flavor. I have eaten at Bei Restaurant and Bei Express, and the sushi rice at Bei Restaurant is much more flavorful. I have often wondered if I was actually getting sushi rice when I ate at Bei Express, because it did not have the flavor of sushi rice. I will definitely eat at Bei Restaurant instead of Bei Express. read more

We were very sceptical at first but the recommendation was spot on. We were seated right away and our server Bela approached immediately. She was very friendly and went down the menu telling us all about the specials and her recommendations. We needed no recommendations because we were there for one thing the Bei special. The special was an assortment of various rolls assembled beautifully making each piece stand out. The first bite was divine and as we worked around the ring of rolls they got better and better. The sauces brought perfect harmony and complemented the fish. The sushi was incredibly fresh not having the fishy order lingering. The rolls melted in your mouth like butter leaving you satisfied. It was so good we placed a second order. Bela stopped by frequently checking on us and also telling us about the restaurant and the area and provided a friendly atmosphere that you do not often get in northern Midwest. The Spider Roll was very good except for the sauce on top that did not suite our palate but after removing the sauce it was fantastic. The Hot Mama Roll was also amazing. The flavors went well with the Yuki Mango Nigori Sake. We also tried some of their beers and spent a while catching up. Belas service was second to none and made this reunion fabulous. The sushi at Bei was better than 95% of our sushi restaurants in my state and the price was very good. They also have a cute cat robot that delivers food! The special was an assortment of various rolls assembled beautifully making each piece stand out. The first bite was divine and as we worked around the ring of rolls they got better and better. The sauces brought perfect harmony and complemented the fish. The sushi was incredibly fresh not having the fishy order lingering. The rolls melted in your mouth like butter leaving you satisfied. It was so good we placed a second order. Bela stopped by frequently checking on us and also telling us about the restaurant and the area and provided a friendly atmosphere that you do not often get in northern Midwest. The Spider Roll was very good except for the sauce on top that did not suite our palate but after removing the sauce it was fantastic. The Hot Mama Roll was also amazing. The flavors went well with the Yuki Mango Nigori Sake. We also tried some of their beers and spent a while catching up. Belas service was second to none and made this reunion fabulous. The sushi at Bei was better than 95% of our sushi restaurants in my state and the price was very good. They also have a cute cat robot that delivers food!
