Even though I stand and knock politely to get her attention, she continues to do non-urgent tasks, like clean the soda machine rack. This morning was the worst. She ignored me then made me wait at the window for about 3 minutes (I was the only customer present). I asked to buy spring water and another item, as I am parched from work. She went to take my card, then pretended the credit card machine was down. I said are you sure it's down. She said "yes". I looked her in the eye and said, "I don't believe you." Then I calmly turned on my heel and left. She did this with the full knowledge that I was in need of water. Five minutes later, I watched her complete a credit card transaction with another customer (a man in a white truck with an orange shirt on). She is making your company look bad. When I walked in, I was greeted, but when I politely asked the employees how they were doing, I was completely ignored--even though I was standing right next to them. At the register, one of the women gave me an unnecessary attitude for no apparent reason. There was no warmth, no conversation, and no sense that they cared about the customer experience. When I worked for this company, I made it a point to acknowledge every customer who walked through the door because that's what good customer service is about. It doesn't take much to be kind. I see employees behind the counter, but I don't see much humanity. Based on this experience, I won't be stopping at this location again. I hope management takes a closer look at the customer service here, because the staff leaves a lot to be desired.
