Major plus for being the closest place to Tempe Mission Palms to sell beer to go. Literally a half a block away! I also tried their Chicago Dog - fresh tomatoes, sport peppers, relish, pickle, mustard, and celery salt. All for $4.00. A+

I really don't understand how they are 4 star ...I think its just a high priced hor dog nothing exciting or different..

Great beer selection and awesome hot dogs. The dogs are made from quality ingredients and the specialty dogs are very filling. Its a great place to pop in to when you are short on time or simply craving a delicious hot dog!

Thirsty Dog is decent deal for the Mill Ave wanderer looking for a quick bite to eat. They have a wide array of dogs and brats to satisfy just about any carnivorous taste bud. The food overall is decent, and about what you would expect. We happened across this joint while looking to kill some time during the summer. Pretty dead during the day, so we notably have no complaints in service, quality, or atmosphere. If I were a college freshman, I'd imagine it to be difficult to stop here without loading in their impressive range of convenient store foods and candy. Overall decent.

OMGOODNESS, This Hot Dog spot is amazing. My family of seven pulled up some chairs and we ate like it was the last supper. Veggie Dog for my vegetarian daughter, Chili cheese dog for my cheese loving children, spicy Italian dog for my daughter that loves a little kick in her food. Customer service being greeted at the door, not rushed when we were eating and welcomed back. This "Thristy Dog 2 Go" small business will always have my support.

Circle K and QT make better hot dogs. I ordered via DoorDash and this is what I got. Cold, overcooked, garbage quality hot dogs.

And those fries are excellent on their own: thin-cut, crisped just right, with bits of potato skin mixed in for texture. The dog lineup is solid, with plenty of variety, but I usually stick with the all-beef frank. Everything's made to order, so there's typically a bit of a wait, but you get a buzzer so you can mind your own business while waiting. The space is a plus too, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. On my latest visit, a large group of bicyclists rolled in--some in full hot dog costumes, others in hot dog-print gear. They were all super friendly and cleaned up after themselves and it added to the whole experience. Consistently great food, a peaceful or fun atmosphere, and attention to the little things that matter.

We've been coming here for about five years now, and it's one of those places that just stays consistent. You'll usually see a line, but don't let that scare you off--everything is made fresh right in front of you, so the short wait is part of the experience. What really sets this place apart is the grill. You can watch them cook your hot dog or sausage to order, getting that perfect snap on the casing with nice grill marks. The texture alone makes a big difference--it's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. They've got a ton of topping options too--probably a dozen or more. Whether you're into sauerkraut, sautéed peppers and onions, chili, or keeping it classic, you can build it exactly how you like it. The sides are solid. The fries are good, and the onion rings are a little different--thinner and softer than most--but still tasty. This isn't necessarily a place we go every week, but when the craving for a really good hot dog hits, this is where we go. It's definitely a local favorite, and you can tell by how many regulars have been coming here for decades. We've also heard they might be opening a location in Gilbert soon, which would be awesome. Overall, great food, fresh off the grill, and always hits the spot.

I decied to try out their borracho burrito which has 3 eggs, bacon, chili, cheese, and tater tots in it. I couldn't really taste the tater tots at all. The chili was a bit too salty for my liking. However, it's a big enough burrito to make you feeling satisfied. Something I really liked was their selection of drinks. They have a specialty section of Tractor beverages which I haven't seen in other places: these drinks were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the strawberry dragonfruit. My meal cost me $11.59 after discounts; this is because you can buy discounted InKind gift cards at Costco. If you don't have a Costco membership, then the InKind app gives you a 20% off discount here. I was one of 5 customers here and got attentive service due to it.

It has been around for DECADES and there is no question as to why it is still there. When visiting the Chuck Box know that it is cash only (ATM on-site), and super popular. There WILL be a line. The line does move extremely fast, due to the fact that the line cooks are definitely not waiting until you get to the counter to take your order. They will call out to anyone in line (regardless of where in line you are) and take your order, yelling it out if needed. It is such a unique and fun experience. The burgers are not overpriced and are phenomenal! It is self serve toppings, after you pay for your order you can go to the topping bar and add as much to your burger as your heart desires. They additionally have other food on the menu such as veggie burger, chicken sandwhiches, chicken tenders, onion rings, fries, fried zuchinni, fried mushrooms, and more. I have had both the fried zuchinni and mushrooms and I would definitely recommend both options! Since it really popular, be aware that there is limited seating and it is crowded. It is additionally extremely warm (especially during the summer) inside the building due to the grill. If you have not already checked out the Chuck Box, I would definitelly recommend that you check it out as soon as possible!!!

To start, my burger tasted pretty good. The cheese was good. Bun was a little dry and stale. The lettuce was yellow and chopped and looked several days old and slightly rotten. Two of my tomatoes had active mold growing on them. It was too dark inside to see it but we ate in the car and saw the moldy spot then. The fries are good but way too salty. We really liked the fried mushrooms. But we made our own dipping sauce which was better than the ranch they give you: mix 2/3 mustard and 1/3 Mayo. Tangy and delicious. We get these at "The Windmill" when we go to the jersey shore and the sauce that comes with the fried mushrooms is a horseradish sauce which is amazing (hint hint, Chuck Box). I would eat here again but bring a flashlight to inspect the produce and lower my expectations. It was good, not great. It smelled kind of off in here also. The AC and vents probably need to be cleaned.
