I had a roasted veggie sandwich delivered to my office, which was supposed to have portobello mushroom. The sandwich didn't have mushrooms but they added corn and black beans. Corn is an allergen food so I'm not sure why they felt it was okay to add that without asking first. Time and time again.. I tell myself to not spend my money here. They are rude. Not customer driven. Always mess up an order... never correct the errors. Today just was the sugar on the cereal. I asked for 2 dressings. The cashier says sure. My salad comes up. A lady im guessing the owner....(cause the attitude matches what all other employee have mentions) puts one in there. I advise i was to get another one.... she looks at the receipt and says this shows one. I run out to get the girl whom helped me. She told the lady, she said that is not what it says here. Girl looks at receipt and says oh... and leaves. Not even as a courtesy did the lady say im sorry for the misunderstandings. These so cost extra, but ill give this to you for thw confusion. Delicious food, large portions and friendly staff are the primary reasons PHX eats is still at the top of my list of favorites, and it has been since I discovered it more than a year ago. There's a cafe in the building where I work but I walk the short distance across the street to eat here most days, even though they deliver. Out of more than a hundred orders (no joke), I've received a couple incorrect orders but was offered a reasonable solution. Like any restaurant/cafe that prepares your food fresh, after you order it, mistakes can happen. I do love the Cobb salad and a "half salad" is more than enough for me. read more

We just had a breakfast at Phoenix Eats Cafe. This cafe was very close to Hilton Garden Inn on Van Buren by the Phoenix Airport. The cafe is hidden in the office building but was not hard to find. They have great selection of breakfast/lunch food and drinks. We ordered caprese panini and cold Turkey sandwich with smoothies. Food was made fast and everything was tasty and very fresh. Smoothies (four berries and mango) were refreshing and delicious. The staff was doing an amazing job, very friendly and professional. Will come back there when I have a chance. read more

I work nearby and have relied on Phx Eats for breakfast and lunch many times - always good (love the One Egg Wonder sandwich), but today, today was awesome. Their special was grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was like homemade, exactly what you expect. Creamy tomato soup, excellent spices and a crispy, cheesy grilled cheese sandwich. I only order the eats lite sandwich. Last few times i ordered for pickup there wasn't any feta cheese on them as it usually does. This time i walked in to order asked to make sure there is cheese. All right, I must admit I was a bit weary of a cafe with a kitchen in a corporate building. This often means half-decent food that is barely above what you can get in a vending machine. But PHX Eats is different. FOOD: Food is fresh and made to order. They do have premade sandwich options for those who are in a hurry, and quite a bit of a selection of snacks, pastries, candy, etc. I had one of the sandwiches before and it was yummy. By now (nearly 4 months after my first order) I have tried multiple menu items, and I had at least one thing out of each menu category throughout the course of the past few months. The food is good and very well made. The ingredients are fresh. The salad ingredients are not soggy or wilted and you get a ginormous topping-full salad (which is important because no one likes to just pay for a bowl of lettuce). The full salad is huge. I've been known to order a full salad and a pizza before and break it up into 3 small-ish but satisfying meals or 2 nice dinners (add a glass of wine). SERVICE: I like how easy it is to make modifications in the online ordering. There are options for add-ons, and the options that are an extra charge are clearly marked, so you're not surprised. I have recently started eating vegan, so for the past couple of weeks the poor folks at PHX Eats had to put up with my crazy modifications, and they have gone above and beyond to make it right. I had my order made wrong just once (and those of you getting your panties in a bunch over the wrong orders - it happens - we all make mistakes at work occasionally - it is all about how you address it and make it right), so I notified the cafe, and they immediately made it right and redelivered to my office. And you can't beat the $1 delivery charge! One word: YES!! I've finally found an amazing food place that delivers to my work! Underline & emphasize, 'delivers to my work' because it's a bigger deal than you even know! After having continued issues with the only other non pizza place that will come to me, discovering this gem has been a life saver! I ordered for the first time today, the Three Cheese Pizza & a side of their House Chips. With tip it was only $10. I've paid way more for way less. & this was anything but less. The pizza was huge! I ended up giving half away. It was also super delicious! I've never had a pizza with so much melted cheese & sauce! They did not skimp! The chips were everything they should be & the perfect afternoon snack for this pregnant lady. Another perk, they have an extensive menu for both breakfast & lunch! Patrons mostly those who work in the surrounding corporate offices. This place also does quite a bit lot of take out and delivery for the surrounding corporate offices. Food: An impressive breakfast and lunch menu. For lunch, all your standard deli options with a variety of meats, bread and cheese options. I definitely wouldn't call this place a artisan sandwich shop but their options are a cut above the standard deli. Also with a solid salad menu. Portions sizes were excellent for price. I could not resist sharing how wonderful I think this place was. We recently started using foodsby here at work and today me and my co worker ordered the Southwest chopped salad, the Cobb salad and a cup of Chicken poblano soup. Not only did they arrive early with our food, the salads are huge! I was shocked at how great they looked. The salad was green and crisp and everything in the salad was good portions. They had our order correct to the T! I asked for extra dressing and they gave me plenty...we even got a mint which I though was a cute sentiment, don't ask me why. When I went online to post a review I was surprised to see that they are not close to our office at all because my soup was still hot and everything looked as if it were just made. Worst place in town. Went with a co worker over lunch and found it to be virtually empty and I soon found out why. The food was ok. I've had better. My friend had an Italian sub and although it looked good, he said it was very bland. I had a Cobb that I thought could not be messed up. I was charged for extra croutons and dressing!? I used to work in the vicinity of where PHXeats was, and going there was a daily routine. Either I would order and have it delivered, or mosey on down to the building. Either way, I was never disappointed. The food here is fantastic, the fruit is fresh, the baked goods delicious (Especially the lemon bars!) and the service was phenomenal. There are weekly specials, both breakfast and lunch, that are not on the regular menu (and believe me, I have tried almost everything on the original menu) and they never disappoint. Love this cafe! Not only is the taste of everything we have tried been superb, but the quality, portion size and price are excellent. The best part? I went to order toast and they told me they stop serving breakfast at 10am. All i wanted was 2 slices of bread toasted. Giving a 2 star review based on the fact that there is no consistency with the food here. I usually order breakfast here and get it delivered to my office. The staff does not know how to accommodate order modifications. This morning I ordered the "eats best breakfast sandwich" sub cheddar for the American "cheese" add avocado and mayo. The sandwich gets delivered with American cheese and avocado spread, essentially guacamole. On top of the sandwich not being correct, the girl who delivered it shorted me on my change. I've been ordering at PHX eats for quite awhile now and it seems their customer service has just gone down past few months, I order at 9am today I called after 1.5 hrs wondering were my food was, keep in mind they already had charged me, the lady on their side phone apologized said they were behind but would have it out asap, well I though you know what at least she apologized mistakes happen, but several hrs nothing showed up I could not leave work because of a meeting, well right after my meeting I drove over and told them I never received my order and the lady simply responded "sorry the ticket got lost and we thought you called earlier to canceled" we'll that really pissed me off, whoever the manager is needs to manage their team better!!!! read more

I work literally across the street and almost all my coworkers hate this place, solely because of their service. I've always given them a fair chance but this is where I have to draw the line! I ordered my breakfast as usual, 2eggs plus. Comes with eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns and toast. I ordered around 9:40 am (BREAKFAST TIME), and due to my work schedule i picked it up at 10:30am. I also allowed them time because they say 10-15 minutes but it's always longer than that, but hey i get it. As I'm paying I'm looking at my food to make sure everything is there because somehow there's always something MISSING. As usual, my hash browns are missing. So, i say "hey my hash browns are missing". The owner's wife (I think) comes and SEEMS like she wants to help, she brings back a small container of hash browns from the kitchen and walks away, says NOTHING. I open up the container because the "hash browns" she gave me literally look like CHARDS. Looked like she scrapped the pan that was used and gave me the remains. In my head I'm like WTF IS THIS ! Another employee sees that I'm dissatisfied with food, she offers to have them make new hash browns, I accepted. The wife comes back and says we don't have any more hash browns breakfast is over. It is now 10:38am ( their website says breakfast is over at 10:30 ) So I'm asking her if she can please make me hash browns but sticks to "breakfast is over" We go back and forth because they lack customer service, especially her! She tells me there is nothing she can do. And at this point i don't want to support their business. I ask for a refund and say "I don't understand why you guys can't just complete my order and make the hash browns" She rudely replies "of course you wouldn't understand you're not in this industry" * All of their "solution replies" on yelp/google are EXCUSES. I'm sure they'll reply to this with some long paragraph blaming me, THE PAYING CONSUMER. There is seriously something wrong here. And I'll just leave it there and you can decide. It's RARE that you even get a smile from this woman. I will be contacting the better business bureau. I'm done making excuses for them. read more

I have recently stoped ordering due to multiple mistakes on my order and missing food on delivery. The other day I ordered breakfast where my coffee was missing from the order. I called and he stated would be back shortly 1 hour and 15 minutes later my coffee arrived. This place used to be OK but the wife of the owner has an extremely bad attitude, the order is rarely ever right and the biggest no no of all. My coworker had BLOOD on a cube of pepper jack cheese from one of their cheese, nuts, grapes and crackers pack. The owner Brad tried to say it was a piece of a pepper that was smeared but didn't want to pick up the piece of cheese. I have been a long-time customer since before the current owners took over, eating there several times a week. In the last six months or so it seems like they cannot keep any of their good staff, every time they hire a girl who actually learns how to do the job she ends up quitting because of issues with the owners. It takes an extremely long time to get your order and often times the order is incorrect. This week was the final straw, I placed an online order and received the email confirmation that it would be ready in 15 minutes, I walked over only to find that it was not ready so I waited an additional 12 minutes and asked them to check on my food. It had been 27 minutes and they had not even started making my order so I asked for a refund. I was told that I would have to wait until the owner returned and they took my name and phone number and said that he would contact me. Today was the third day with no contact so I went back over to talk to the owner about getting my refund, he looked me in the face and simply said he had already processed it, no apology for the fact that I wasted almost 30 minutes waiting for food. I explained to him that I was expecting a phone call to at least let me know the refund was in the works, again he just stated that he had already processed it... Still no apology and no acknowledgment of any wrongdoing on their part. I don't know what changed because the owner used to be a nice friendly guy but not anymore... They act like they are doing us a favor by being there, the customer service is nonexistent. When he processed my refund three days ago he had my phone number and could've picked up the phone to let me know the refund was in process and to at least acknowledge or apologize for the mixup earlier that day. I have spent money in there consistently every week for years and he could care less, he had no interest in even trying to keep a loyal customer. I am just one of many people in my office who have had experiences like this and who will never patronize that business again. read more
