Every time I order, my food is incorrect. I spend at least $10 a day here. One time the pre-made sandwich was labeled wrong and when I told the owner he didn't even apologize. He just said "yeah they were labeled wrong" so in short not worth it too me. read more

I have ordered from this business consistently for nearly a year and the service continues to decline. I waited over a hour for my food and to receive barely cooked eggs (which only required brown edges as it was over easy), microwave bacon and bread that's suppose to be toasted instead was sliced and buttered right out the loaf. I called to expressed my disappointment, placed on hold and then told would called back. I have not touched this disaster as I just rather give back and get a refund. I literally asked my company to include this place to our Foodsby roster and now completely regret it. This is not an isolated incident. I LOVE Phx Eats Cafe. We order delivery to our office every day and sometimes twice a day. I'm from NY so the microwaved eggs trend in Phoenix disgusts me but this place actually uses a grill and cooks their eggs right. Their breakfast burritos and egg sandwiches are the best around. Eats lite sandwich + Bacon is amazing. Socal Panini is amazing. Chicken ranch wrap....wait for it.... amazing. read more

I've eaten here a lot because I can walk from my workplace. The owners are surly and the service is terrible. They routinely lose or forget orders. They act like they're doing you a favor for letting you be their customer, even when they screw up your order and have to fix it. A few of their menu items taste OK or good but most of their food is mediocre at best. I'm happy they opened The Original Marketplace nearby. The menu is better, the food is excellent, the general presentation is superior and the employees are nice. read more

This is the 4th time I used these guys for catering. They are great. We've had several company meetings and trainings in the office over the past year and have been looking for a company with quality food, a good price and delivers throughout the valley. Every time their food has been large portions always quality ingredients and a nice variety. I can't recommend this small business enough the owner Brad is easy to work with and is helpful recommending menu and quantities. They always deliver on time. I encourage customers to take their business elsewhere and not support a business that treats their staff horribly. I was an employee here for a year and it was absolutely dreadful. Because I am younger, I was not treated as poorly as my fellow coworkers were but watching how Brad and Kristine treated everybody was absolutely horrifying. When the littlest thing would go wrong (even if it was his fault), Brad would throw tantrums like a 5 year old. I mean screaming, throwing things, pacing back and forth and yelling profanities at everybody, the whole deal. Nothing was ever his fault and both him and his wife would degrade their employees on the daily. All of this was bluntly obvious to anybody that works in this building. Kristine was actually worse, some customers won't even come into the cafe if they knew she was there. She would constantly call her employees names (both to them and behind their backs) to the point where I have seen every employee here that I have worked with cry. . I have worked with some amazing older ladies here that have wonderful personalities and are genuinely great people. I have also watched those same ladies get the life drained out of them, cry every day, being forced to walk out the back and not allowed to walk out the front door if they were "being bad", etc. And they wonder why they go through staff like water?? My previous coworkers and I never saw a penny of the overtime we worked, sometimes we were there before 4 AM without pay beyond the other 40 hours worked. They also refused to pay me for my last 2 paychecks after I was fed up and forced to quit, I'm a struggling college student and can't afford to work 2 weeks for free. They take a percentage of all of the tips after making their employees work on their feet for 8+ hours in this hostile environment. I have sincerely never met people as 2-faced as these two are. They seem really nice but the stuff that goes on behind that counter is horrible. They get off on belittling people and breaking them down for minimum wage. We were not even allowed to have water for free. (Not to mention that health inspectors were in the restaurant monthly and Brad would freak out!)The cook (not sure if he still works there) would always say really pervy things to me and the other females that worked there. When I was working there at 17, he would tell me I looked sexy, take videos of me, ask me out all the time, etc. Brad did absolutely nothing about it and even let him come back after he quit. If you are a regular customer here, I know you know exactly what I am talking about. You've seen Brad throw fits, Kristine belittle people and be extremely rude to customers, and employees cry and eventually quit all the time. I did not realize how mentally draining this place was until after I got another job where employees are treated with respect. I know this location is convenient if you work in the building, but entitled people that treat their employees like dogs and act so much better than them have no place running a business. read more

I used to order here almost every day. The food - breakfast and lunch were good and they were quick. That has changed drastically for some reason. The first time they upset me is when they charged me at the time of delivery for a side of ranch. I had to literally get $2 before he would give me my food. Not one time previous had this happened and there is nothing on the online ordering that specifies this, however there is a place to put in special requests. Then they forget part of my order. So I decide to give them one more chance. My order shows up almost 2 hours after I orders, COLD and incomplete. That will be my last time. read more

I work in a 24 hour call center and this place really sucks, if you go to the website to order you can order a sandwich at 9 AM but not over the phone only online and the online ordering is not available right now, they are often late delivering and mess up our orders alot. i ordered a tuna sandwich I got a BLT. I ordered the breakfast it was 1 hour before I got it and then it was stone cold. No refund no apology just a so sorry we are really busy and short staffed. Tired of excuses and lame food. I work near Phoenix Eats and it is a reprieve to have such a great place to have lunch among the hum drum of the typical fast food. I can run down and eat there if I have time to step out of my office but can call and order breakfast or lunch if I'm swamped at work. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I have tried a variety of items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Their burgers are fantastic, especially if you add a fried egg. If you really want a treat try the everything cookie or a cheesecake brownie. I have also placed catering orders for our company's training department from Phoenix Eats. Again, it is always a pleasure to work with the staff and Brad, the owner. Great care is taken to be sure each detail is attended to. read more

Their entire menu has gluten-free options!! Love it!! They have the breads, sauces and deserts. This place is a real gem. There few delis and cafes in the Phoenix area that offer great food AND so many gluten-free options. I appreciate that the staff know exactly which ingredients are GF; I'm not Celiac but I certainly know when I've had it. I diligently avoid it to optimize my racing training... and for better overall health. read more

Great breakfast and lunch menu!! Friendly staff and freshly prepared food with a diverse menu selection. I had the turkey avocado sandwich on a croissant and the bread was nice and fresh. I highly recommend the mini-cakes for dessert. read more

I hate to complain but the first time I ordered from here, the food was so good. Ordered the Teriyaki Burger and it was amazing! Worth the $1.50 up charge because it had the lettuce, tomato, and onion. Today was disappointing because it was just bread, a broken burger, 4 pieces of pineapples, cheese, and teriyaki sauce all wrapped up in brown paper (spent $10.75 for the meal and $1 for delivery). Called to confirm that burgers come with lettuce tomato and onion. She states yes they do and offered to give me a side of it. I am NOT waiting for sides that SHOULD be on the burger. There was no offer to make a new burger and expects me to wait so I can enjoy my cold burger that is no longer appealing. Thanks for the motivation to bring my own lunch. read more

I have ordered from PE for over 6mo now, putting up with the daily order mess ups. Today was the last straw, Turkey, Bacon Club Wrap, missing bacon. Called back to let them know about the order being wrong and Brad could care less. Let alone how often you order from him, or how much you spend. All i wanted was what i ordered and PAID for. I had food from Phx Eats delivered through Foodsby (an awesome service!). I had the Cobb salad and it was amazing. I substituted edamame for the bacon. The salad is a great size, bigger than I expected. The chicken had great flavor and the rest of the ingredients were incredibly fresh. What a difference that makes! The bleu cheese crumbles were delicious and more flavor than what I typically find. It came with a red wine vinaigrette, but I didn't even use it much. It wasn't needed. I will definitely order from them again! read more
