I was visiting Arizona this week and was told by a friend that I had to visit this restaurant to try their sandwiches. I ordered the little jerry and my dad got the rochelle, rochelle. For starters, all of their sandwiches are made with housemade focaccia bread which was delicious and nicely toasted. For the little jerry, the chicken was tender, the pesto was very fresh and herby, and the spicy vodka sauce had a little kick to it. The fresh grated cheese was nice and light as well. For the rochelle, rochelle, the fried onions were nice and crispy and the roast beef was extremely tender and abundant. I loved their smoked gouda cheese wiz! A friend came into town (he knows his food) and I decided to take him here for lunch and we both enjoyed the experience. For lunch, there isn't full sit down service, you order at the register, take a number and then food is brought out to you. Service is great here! I can say both the sandwich and cocktail were amazing! The Maiden Voyage cocktail also has a special in that $2 of the proceeds go to St Mary's Food Bank. I appreciate that this business cares about the community. The few gripes are that parking is a situation around here. There is a covered lot right behind the restaurant but spaces can be limited there. My friend and I both also felt the prices were a bit high and can't seem to justify $19 for a sandwich. My total with tax and tip for lunch came to almost $50! And, the bathroom seemed to always be occupied, so that was a bit of an annoyance. So, I deducted one star for those concerns.
