we came on a Thursday for lunch. Arrived around 12p and only waited about 25 minutes in line and about 20 minutes after ordering our lunch! Vibes were chill and space was clean and modern. For a Thursday-this place was poppin' and I was really hoping that would be indicate we chose right for lunch! Lemonade 2/5: it was expensive for a really mid drink. :( tasted really watered down. Rochelle Rochelle 4/5: was the standout of the two sandwiches we ordered! The flavors were so intense in a good way! A decadent balance of meat and cheese. My only gripe was even with the thick focaccia bread; it became soggy AND ZERO crunchy/friend onions. lol I wasn't sure if it was because they forgot them OR because it was too juicy/saucy lol. Little Jerry 2.5/5 - it was okay nothing special at all in my book except for presentation! It was a massive; thick piece of breaded chicken breast but it lacked flavor? Maybe it needed more sauce and cheese or something to make it pop. The bread again was excellent. We wondered if they sell just the bread to take home?! Overall 3/5. You don't have to be a fan of Seinfeld to make this a must stop location, but it doesn't hurt either. I couldn't decide if I was picking my sandwich for the name or for what was in it. We settled on 3, "Crazy Joe Davola", think meatball sub gourmet, "Little Jerry" chicken parm gourmet, and the "Maestro" spicy, which honestly transported us back to Rome. All three were incredible. Decided to go on the bartenders advice and got the fall special, forgive me I forgot the name (meatball sandwich with Calabrian agradolce). May be the best meatballs I've ever had. Saw this on TikTok and knew I had to try it. First go I ordered a Little Jerry for takeout. It was amazing! The portion was huge and I had enough leftover to feed a hungry belly when I got home. The sandwich held up and was just as good that night. The second go, I tried the Rochelle Rochelle. It was delicious as well but I feel like it's better suited for in-person dining. It was hard to judge service as the takeout order is just placed on a stand, but it was convenient not to have to wait on someone to give it to me. Love the location, but parking is hit or miss. Thankfully I work close by so I know how to navigate my way around, but could see how it could be troublesome for others. I will be back and look forward to trying some other items. read more

Both were very delicious & filling. Delicious sandwiches! We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and there was a long line. Took an hour from the start of getting in line to getting our food around 12-1 on Saturday. We got our sandwich to go, but there are a number of tables inside and out to eat at. It is relatively small, but they have a little upstairs area with additional tables. We got the Little Jerry and Rochelle Rochelle, and both were delicious. The focaccia bread is amazing, and the sandwiches are full of flavor. I would love to come back to get another sandwich, but will be getting there earlier if possible to avoid a long line and wait. read more

Everything about this spot is a breath of fresh air, unlike so many of the other upscale, pretentious, overpriced restaurants in the valley. Love the ambiance which somehow manages to be elevated yet down to earth and welcoming to all. The patrons are diverse, the music is soulful, and the service is always on point. When I saw their new crab in butter appetizer offering on Instagram I knew we had to have it! In fact my husband and I actually switched our date night reservation from another spot to here just so we could try it! It did not disappoint. I mean how can you go wrong with crab, butter, garlic, and fresh focaccia bread! I appreciate that they don't charge for reservations like so many other restaurants do nowadays. I have seen a ton of videos and pictures of First & Last sandwiches at lunch time after they went viral, and have also heard that they have a great dinner selection. We decided this would be a great spot for a Valentine's Day dinner date. Inside the restaurant there was a speakeasy that we checked out after our meal and loved the intimate vibe. For starters, the Albacore Tuna Tartare Toast was incredible. The Tuna was light, and not super fatty which was perfect for a starter, and had a delicious olive tapenade mixed in with it. The Roasted Chanterelles & Pappardelle had a light creamy sauce that let the mushroom flavor come through in the dish. We also loved the Veal Parmesan and the bucatini pasta that it was paired with. Once we ordered, our food came out super fast as well! The service is so awesome and friendly! The food isn't the best tasting, I got a pasta this time, and it had very few pieces of sausage and I actually got sick from eating it and I never feel sick after eating. This is my second time giving them a chance, the first time we came I got a Pork Chop that was good but costed $42 which to come with one side of creamed spinach was just simply overpriced. We also had a Jalapeño Focaccia that they had the audacity to call "Cornbread" but nothing was cornbread about it except for the fact that they basically opened a can of corn and put it inside of the bread because the corn didn't even look cooked or anything. If you are going to spend a lot of money, you should get your money's worth and with lackluster service as well, I wouldn't recommend it. read more

We waited about 35 minutes and arrived at 11:30am and it only took about 10 minutes for our food to come out. The restaurant is quite loud with people seated close together and the music but it is a good ambience for a hangout with friends. We ordered the Little Jerry sandwich and thought the basil pesto on it was super tasty but was maybe lacking a component like balsamic glaze to balance out the saltiness. Must order for me, this was in the top 3 dishes I've tried during this week. For sure. Pan Roasted Carrots - This is what I love about Chefs. How you can take such a simple ingredient and elevate it Mars. Yoooo. On a bed of Chermola (Morrocan/African Sauce) with Roasted Shallots and a Toasted Parmigiano Reggiano topping of heaven, best Roasted Carrots I've had so far. Hands down. I also ordered the Creme Caramel which was a Vanilla Custard topped with a housemade Caramel, it was sooo good I forgot to snap a pic. But trust me, put it in your pie hole, you'll love it. Luckily, I got there exactly when they opened, but there was still a long line of about 30 people ahead of me. There is a good amount of seating, both downstairs and upstairs! We got the Rochelle Rochelle, and Maestro gosh they were delicious a little messy but worth it! I would also grab the Torres chips what a great compliment to the focaccia bread! I finally got the time drive to First & Last to try their popular "LITTLE JERRY" which is a chicken cutlet, spicy vodka sauce mozzarella, basil pesto, parmesan reggiano. This sandwich was not only delicious but large enough to share or to take home for later. The fresh house made Focaccia bread was so soft and airy it's chef's kiss! Washed it all done with a crisp and refreshing Green Apple Spritzer! Yummy, yummy yummy all around! It was also nice to see that they had upstairs seating as well for they can fill up really fast. I ordered the Rochelle Rochelle, which was advertised as "thinly sliced steak," but it was really just plain shaved roast beef with almost no seasoning. For appetizers we had the barrata with sweet potato, apple, walnuts, and pork (I believe). I wasn't sure what to think of the flavors but it was very good. The oysters were small but absolutely delicious. My husband got the bolognese and I got the mushroom pasta (it has a much fancier name in the menu) and we both really liked them. They were simple but perfect after our appetizers. I do think we may have been disappointed if all we got was pasta but with the whole experience and other flavors of apps we enjoyed it. The only negative that we had was not being able to really customize your meal (I would've loved to have had chicken added to my mushroom pasta but that's not an option). Also it would be hard to eat here if you aren't into pork... so many of their dishes include it. Last suggestion... check out the quaint little speakeasy in the basement. They have seasonal menu changes and their food tastes so unique and delicious!! Their drinks are very creative and tasty, we ended up getting the verde de la vida and the heat wave. Also, on Sunday they were doing a sunday supper deal where you could get 3 courses for $45 per person which is a really great deal of your wanting to try many things (which you must)!!! You really can't go wrong getting anything here. The cast iron focaccia was not on the Sunday supper menu, but we ordered it anyways & it actually changed my life in the best way and I would highly recommend getting it!! Very cute inside, plenty of tables. I am a vegetarian and unfortunately did not enjoy my meal. I first wanted to get the Caesar salad with a different dressing and they said they couldn't modify. Then the soup of the day was a cold soup which didn't sound tasty for a cooler day, and the pizza of the day had meat. So I went for one of their two vegetarian sandwiches and it tasted like a wood fire goopy with tangy cheese. I wasted 16 dollars on something I didn't eat and walked away kind of sad since I had been looking forward to this lunch. My companion got a chicken sandwich and he loved it!
