Good, simple food made by nice people. I got the italian chicken panini and enjoyed it. The sandwich was a good size and filled me up without leaving me stuffed. I liked that they served it with a pickle. I will replace the sun dried tomatoes with fresh tomatoes if I remember to next time I go. Just personal preference. read more

Lunch Break has to be one of my favorites for lunch when I "forget" to pack something. It's close by my work so easy to get to and easy for delivery. I've had almost everything on this menu since I've been ordering for the last three years. (That should say something). My personal favorites are the French dip, Italian panini and the egg salade sandwich. All chefs kiss. It's not over the top or "fancy" but it's easy and kind of nice for a fast food change. It's located just off the beaten path, but near enough to my office that I'm hardly missed when I have take a quick break. It had Cajun seasoning on part of my sandwich, maybe half because the first half tasted like a plain, hot turkey sandwich. My honey got the super club, he really enjoyed it. Had loads of meat on it. This place isn't too pricey and you have the option to purchase the sandwich either by itself or make it a meal. I ordered an Italian chicken melt panini for takeout and it was average at best. Seems I'm in the minority here but the chicken seems really cheap. It was chewy and stringy which threw the entire sandwich off and made it pretty unappetizing. Just some feedback. I ordered a salad on your mobile site and wrote in the note section, "no onions." When I got back to my office and sat down to eat the salad, it was full of chopped red onions. I called and the woman who answered was rather stand-offish and told me that the salad comes with onions and if I did not want them I would need to note that in the notes section. I advised her I did and she seemed not to believe me. I went back to swap the salad and when there, I showed her their own order form that said clearly "no onions." Mistakes happen, I totally get it. But she never apologized, rather seemed annoyed by my bringing the salad back. I followed your process correctly, she made the error, I had to get up from lunch get in my car, go back and deal with her condescending attitude just to get what the order should have been originally. Maybe own it if you mess up and make a customer have to come back? Kind of an entitled mindset. I own my own business and would not treat a customer that way, especially if the error was mine. Secondly, red onions are not something 99% of people like. You chop them so small, its not easy to pick them off. Maybe dont make them standard on a salad and make them something people add? Think about it, if you make a mistake and put them on the salad, you waste a salad and that erodes margins. However if you forget to add them, and the customer comes back for them, you can just add them to the same salad and dont have to waste one. Same with mayo, olives, dijonase, sour cream, etc. Make those items an add, not standard. Then if you forget or mess an order up, you dont have to replace the item, just add to it. Most items come back because something came on it that people dont like. Perhaps taking these items off and making them additions, you will lower the returned items and eliminate the wasted foods which erode your margins. I probably wont be back, will give you 5 stars because I support small business. But that woman was pretty rude. Oh, I forgot...one time while on a low carb diet, I was in there and saw the Meat Bowl breakfast. Ok, thats perfect, so I ask the same lady, can I get the Meat Bowl but no potatoes. "You cant do that because then you would not get anything" she replied. So....should that maybe be called the potato bowl then? read more

1st time trying Lunch Break. Ordered online, a southwest chicken panini & a bowl of chili. A bit pricey, the panini was excellent. Great spice & heat. The chili was a shrug. It was more like soup, but not bad. Definitely needed more seasoning. Wouldn't order it again. I will go back to try some other sandwiches. read more

I work in the area and found in Yelps food near me search (Thanks Yelp) I've ordered the Cobb salad 3x and each time my order is consistent when it comes to quality and taste. Upon walking in, neither myself or a customer behind me were greeted for at least five minutes. The cashier was running around passing by, giving people their orders, but didn't make an attempt to quickly greet us during this time. I ordered wheat bread for my sandwich and my order came with white bread.. not the biggest deal, but it wasn't what I ordered. Lastly, the tuna salad sandwich is full of onions. Very disappointed in the Customer service! My company orders here almost daily. Placed my order today and received a call from someone telling me the order would be an hour late due to delivery issues. I was told I could pick up my order..which clearly defeats the point for delivery in the first place. Mind you I'm at my office. When I asked for my order to be cancelled, I was told that they would NOT help me with that. I could either wait for another hour to get my food or pick up. No refunds! Seems very unprofessional to call mintues before the items are scheduled to deliver. Offer no assistance, other then wait! And not even discount or sincerely apologize. A nice little find Lunch Break is located in a business park in a part of town I was unfamiliar with and not having a lot of time to drive around looking for a lunch spot, I took the recommendation of a co-worker and stopped by "Lunch Break" for a bite. I have to admit, I have been told on more then one occassion that I can be like "Joey" from the show "Friends" when it comes to my sandwiches. So, I was a little apprehensive when we stopped at Lunch Break, however I'm so glad we stopped because I was pleasantly surprised. Lunch Break offers a large selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, drinks, and deserts. Lunch Break offers great lunch specials. You can get a sandwich and your choice of potato salad, pasta salad, cole slaw, or chips. Today, my lunch companion and I had the Chicken Parmesan on Panini Bread, and tuna salad on sourdough. Both our sandwiches were fantastic and the potato salad is some of the best I ever had. The price is right, the sandwiches are big and the staff are friendly. I'm not quite sure what most people are raving about. Lunch Break is somewhat inconvenient considering their location. They're tucked away in a strip of commercial buildings. It's a good place for a lunch break if you work around the area. The place is a small sandwich shop that can seat around 25-30 people. The text size on the menu is extremely small and difficult to read. It's very hard to read especially when you're lining up by the entrance. I ordered the panini thinking it's a simple sandwich to prepare. I was wrong. I watched the six customers behind me get their meals before I did. Not sure if they were using a luke warm panini press or a clothes iron but it did take a long time. My coworkers finished their meals when I finally received mine. Heat up the panini press guys. I'd rather eat with my coworkers rather than watching them eat and then having them watch me eat. read more
