a sandwich and dip

These guys came for our Christmas party in our community. They have a lot of different options -- there really is something for everybody! I ordered the Buffalo chicken and it was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and ranch (I believe) and enjoyed it. The bread was nicely toasted and had a decent amount of Buffalo chicken. For my sandwich, you have a choice between ranch or blue cheese for dipping. Overall, great experience and great food!

A good name and an attention getting one at that. To start off, it's grilled cheese with different combos and variations. But at the end of the day, it's still a grilled cheese sandwich. I'm sure it's a lot of peoples comfort food but this one did not blow me away. The sandwich-Buffalo Bill, okay. Their ranch was tasty. Their drinks are canned soda and chips are of the snack size.

I was lucky enough to finally try this food truck at an Easter Egg Hunt and celebration this past weekend in Vistancia. My husband has had this truck numerous times and loved it each time. I can totally see why. Not only were the guys running the truck friendly and nice, but the food was amazing. I opted to try the Cuban, my husband got the Polish and we got the traditional for my girls. I made a point to try all three and they were all amazing. My favorite was the Cuban though hands down. I would totally eat from them again. Great food!

King of clubs

I have to admit this really was the best grilled cheese of my life (don't tell my mom). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to the price. My work in Tempe does food trucks every Thursday and this was the first time I've tried 2 Fat Guys. I had my eye on "the king of clubs" and I must say it's delicious. Cheddar cheese, ham, bacon, and sliced pickles. With a side choice of: chips, macaroni salad, or potato salad. I chose macaroni salad. The food itself is great; a greasy grilled cheese the way it should be. And the service was great, the guys running the truck were engaging and funny. My grilled cheese and macaroni salad ran me $10. Good thing my office has drinks. Overall, I would recommend this truck if you get the opportunity. And I hope they come back.

Grilled Cheese/bacon @ First Friday
R H.

I found this gem of a truck at First Friday. The grilled cheese with bacon was so perfectly cheesey and well toasted, not too dark, not too light and perfectly crispy yet soft! The cheese oozed out and it was ohhhh so good! I wish the bacon was a little crispier but it didn't take away from the flavor. Highly recommend!

Good food. Poor service. These guys are rude. I don't know how they get return customers.

Over priced grill cheese sandwiches. Id recommend going somewhere else as you'll get more for your money both in flavor and filling you up.

As I got older, I eventually started coming to this location, and honestly, I feel like the tacos here are even better. The meat has an amazing flavor, the quality of the tacos is always on point, the service is great, and I really enjoy the overall vibe of the area. My usual order is 6 tacos de asada and 3 de tripa, along with a Coca-Cola en botella or an horchata. The food is consistently delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is especially enjoyable on weekend nights. It's one of those places where people come after a night of partying or just because they're looking for somewhere open late to get some seriously good tacos. This place also has a special meaning to me personally. I brought my wife here on our first date, and I hope that one day I can bring my son here when he's old enough to enjoy the food. I've shared so many memories here with friends and family over the years, and I plan to keep coming back for as long as this place is open and I'm around. For me, this isn't just another taco spot--it's a place with a real connection to my life and a lot of great memories attached to it. I truly hope it continues to be around for many more years.

The table and chair entire reminds me of some spot back home in Oakland, CA. Plenty of seats and tables at each truck to enjoy your food and let traffic disappear while you enjoy your food and relaxed environment.

I love their taco tripas so much! The tacos are priced between $3-$3.50, which is pretty standard,…read morebut the flavor definitely stands out. Make sure to ask for the tripas crispy! It makes a huge difference and adds the perfect crunch. Their cabeza and lengua are also incredibly flavorful, moist, and well-balanced. Nothing is overly salty which I really appreciate. My friend tried the pork belly taco, and it was crispy and packed with flavor so that's definitely on my list for my next visit. A quick tip: bring cash. They do take credit cards, but there's a 3% fee. There's no free water fountain, but bottled water is available for purchase, along with some classic homemade drinks you can try. The staff here are friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor seating is clean and comfortable. There's even a handwashing station with soap and paper towels provided which is a nice touch. Overall, such a great spot! I can't wait to come back again!

I wish there was more limones and cucumbers on the plate. The salsas were really good, and the perfect balance of spice and taste. For a food truck, the area is clean and big enough for 2+. We used to visit and push tables together and just enjoy the night. Which is what I felt visiting. The meat is still so juicy, and food is just hot to touch. Definitely a good place to visit after a game or concert!

These guys are AWESOME!!! I work at PIMC and these guys usually come by for an hour or two. They…read moreonly stay for an hour or two because they sell out that quick. We have people working in the hospital that will look out for this truck and then run down to it as soon as it arrives. When I told people I wanted to try this place for a Navajo Taco, they told me I need to be ready to run out there when they're spotted because lines form real quick. I got a Navajo Taco which, for those that don't know, is a fry bread (fried bread that's soft and chewy) base with taco ingredients on top consisting of ground beef, kidney beans, lettuce, tomato, and onions. The taco is huge! It was my first time with this behemoth and I spend a good few minutes trying to figure out how to eat it. The plasticware wasn't strong enough to cut it, so I ended up just picking it up like a huge taco and eating it. This thing is very big! It takes up the entire container they put it in. I also got a prickly pear lemonade and it was AMAZING!!! Very satisfying and refreshing on a hot Phoenix day. I paid $10 for the taco and $7 for the lemonade. It was a little pricier than I was hoping to pay, but a nice little treat to break up my usual tuna and rice lunch while at the hospital. These guys look like a little family that runs this food truck, so support small business and give these guys a go if you see them in your part of town!

We got a cinnamon sugar frybread and a mutton sandwich. Both didn't take too long to make and both looked delectable. We settled down on one of the tables on the museum patio and dug in! The mutton sandwich was packed with thinly sliced, grilled meat and very fresh veggies. I loved the combo of meat and veg with the frybread and it was easy to eat by folding it up like a soft taco. I liked the taste of the mutton (No gamey taste whatsoever) but it was a bit chewy. The cinnamon sugar frybread was a winner for my daughter who gave it a thumbs up. Service was friendly and welcoming. I'd try more from Emerson.
