We heard of La Hamburguesa thru their social media fame. The food truck was just for show as all the food and service was inside the Mexican restaurant where we were greeted immediately. The staff were very friendly as we got there early before the crowd. This was noticed so we were the first to order. I got the bacon avocado burger and my gf ordered the signature burger. If you live smash burgers this your next stop. The Wagyu double patties were huge with some crisp on the edges and much larger than the bun. The Japanese milk was toasted perfectly. The shoestring fries were very crispy and hot! The special sauce went well with the fries and burger. The bacon strips were big and had a nice crisp as well. This a very casual low key restaurant still with the Mexican restaurant vibe. Paris nice with the friendly staff.
Met some friends here for dinner before we went to a movie. This is actually located in a building (brick & mortar) that was formerly called Tatemados Tacos Al Carbon and the signage still reflects that name. It's a small to medium size establishment with patio seating as well. They also have a bar that allows for several seats too. It's simply decorated and everything appears to be clean. You order with the front cashier and they give you a # and you seat yourself. I decided to try their signature burger (smash patties). From what I can tell, their menu which has like 4 different burgers are all served with 2 smashed patties with different fixings. They also order other side items like fries that are cooked in Beef tallow. The wagyu beef was seasoned will and my burger came with cheese, jalapeños, homemade pickles, grilled onions and sauce (their house sauce, which has a little kick). I tried some of my friend's fries and they were delish. While I am not a big burger person, I will definitely be back just to try some of their other burgers. The young lady that took my order was friendly & professional and the food runner was equally friendly, professional and accommodating.
I've been back 3x in 6 weeks! By far a top 3 burger in the valley! The fries are cooked in beef tallow and are amazing. Highly rec going when they are doing a collab with other local restaurants in the valley!
Excellent burger! They were located right outside where we did trivia night at the Theodore. My husband is on a burger mission to rank the best burger in az. This one did not disappoint! We loved the bun. The fries were just okay. They were super kind and I'd go again!!!

I was in between a 4 and 5 and went with a 5 It was an overall good experience and I'll definitely crave them again. Burgers and fries are fresh to order. You can taste the freshness. It is a bit heavy but it hits the spot when you're out on the weekend with a beer on the side. Even tho the quality is high, the price of the burger is a little steep especially bc it doesn't come with fries. But it is a GOOD sized burger. My bf and I split the fries and were pretty full. A few friends got the Viva burger, and they said it was SPICY. It's a food truck so it will move around, gotta find the location you want probably on IG. If you drive yourself and you're at Sana Sana, parking will not be easy. Parking is tight and you mostly have to pay. It's a typical food truck, ambiance would be created by location. So at Sana Sana, the outside patio with lights and a beer gives it a nice feel (during winter haha not sure how I would feel during summer) Service was friendly. The line grew out of control and scrambled. As the guy was organizing everyone to get in line he remembered I was in front and told the guy that jumped in front of me to get in line. I really appreciated that. They may have a dessert but since it wasn't listed I completely forgot or maybe they didn't have it that day but I've heard good things about that. Since I was part of the first orders, food came out quick. They let you know the food is made fresh to order so wait might be a little longer. So overall, bf and I enjoyed ourselves, and I know I'll crave that burger again.
La Hamburguesa has been on my radar for a long time now, and one of my friends went and could not say enough about it. My husband and I finally decided to make the drive, and it was well-worth it. Parking was a bear because it's in downtown phx, but that was expected. We didn't wait in line very long, and the employee taking orders was friendly. We waited maybe 15 min for our food, and you can see everything being made fresh in the truck. The burgers were full of flavor, hot, and juicy. The beef tallow fries were fried to perfection and had a perfectly crunchy exterior. The homemade ranch was delightful as well. There is ample seating at the Saturday location (Sana Sana Cerveceria) both inside and outside. It is quite loud there, which we don't mind, but just an fyi! We'll definitely be back!!
These are delicious smash burgers with high quality ingredients. They are made fresh to order. The double smashed patties make it fulfilling. The menu is short, sweet and to the point. It is a mobile food truck so you gotta find there schedule. I was lucky to find a short waiting line on a Thursday night. The staff is courteous and moves as quickly as possible to get orders out. Downtown phoenix is always a vibe. Will be back for more. Gracias.
Visited La Hamburguesa when they were at Tipsy Cactus in Mesa. I didn't realize how popular they were until we arrived! As soon as we got there you can hear everyone talking about how good they were so I immediately had high hopes. My dad got their viva mexico hamburger and seemed to really enjoy it! He said it was definitely a spicy burger (which is why I think he liked it). My mom and I were indecisive so we both split a bacon avocado and the signature burger. We got our food pretty quickly considering the line plus the quality of the food. Both were very good but i'd recommend the bacon avocado more!

The fact that this is a food truck is insane. Every item is made to order so it does take a little longer but for perfection it's worth the extra time. I have been several times now because the burger is so amazing as is(the classic). The grilled onions are a must even if you're not an onion fan. Grilled to perfection and just the right seasoning. They have a house sauce that makes this juicy burger off the chart. The fries are made in beef tallow which you can definitely taste the difference and it makes me only want fries done this way. Make sure to follow them because they move to different locations every week! Definitely worth following them all over the valley!
Great little food truck spot! Ingredients are good quality. Fries were nice and crunchy but also fluffy on the inside. We got the birria burger and the viva mexico. Viva mexico was definitely my favorite, just a little hot. The buns are japanese milk buns which taste great, but I think I prefer a firmer, toasted bun. The staff here are really nice and will commit your name to memory. Would come back!
Wow! I am not a burger person -- to the point where I only get beef burgers maybe twice a year -- but La Hamburguesa may be a go-to spot from now on. We attended the latest Crete pop-up and were thoroughly impressed at the freshness of the ingredients, which were all handmade in-house. The Classic Burger came with an amazing wagyu patty that was spilling out of the bun, balanced by the tangy pickles and fresh tomatoes. The beef tallow fries were solid, and the person manning the pop-up (who was so friendly and checked in throughout the night!!) brought us some secret sauce to try, which was wonderfully pickley and a must-have for all my future visits. I was wimpy and scared to try the Viva Mexico, but I think I'll be back to embrace the spice of their most beautiful burger now that I can confirm even the standards are fab :')
Friends!!! This concept, GENIUS! The food truck is parked outside the Taco restaurant, and you order and sit inside!!! So you can have smash burgers and tacos at the same time! It's an "order at the counter" concept and they bring it your table when it's ready. BURGERS ARE TASTY!!! Super buzzy atmosphere, lots of talking and eating and having fun!!! Honestly, my favorite burger I've ever had. You can really taste the quality of each ingredient, their Wagyu patty is actually so worth the 30 minute line. I did get the spicy viva burger to try as well, and didn't like it as much. It lacked depth of flavor and kinda just tasted spicy. Still a solid burger of course, but I would go back to the classic ones next time. During lent, they had their fish sandwich, which was INSANE. The best one we have ever had. The fish was crispy on the outside, flakey and buttery on the inside. The tartar sauce was perfectly tart and balanced the whole thing. I AM PRAYINGG it comes back for times other than lent. Ruined every other fish sandwich for me. We tried their fries both times we went, and honestly not a fan. They're beef tallow fries so they're supposedly "better" but they were pretty hard and oily, and have the meat taste from the beef tallow that I don't like, I would skip these. People start lining up before the truck opens so I suggest getting there 20 minutes early for quick service, otherwise you'll be looking at an hourish wait. But trust me, it's worth it read more

La Hamburguesa has been in my bookmarks for quite a while now, and when I saw that they had a fish sandwich special and it was their last day to try it, I had to make plans to make sure I got my hands on it. My friends and I arrived about 20 minutes before the truck opened, and there were already a few people standing in line. The line moved pretty quickly, and the total time from ordering and receiving our food was only about 15 minutes. At this time, the line wrapped around the truck. The food came out hot and fresh. Filet-o-fish is one of my favorites of all time, and the filet de fish did not disappoint at all! The first bite had us levitating and seeing stars. The tartare sauce that the fried fish was smothered in was delicious and creamy, and the fish fillet itself was tender and flaky. The toasted and soft Japanese bun was the cherry on top. Simple and comforting and nostalgic, but elevated in the best way. We also tried their popular Viva Mexico, but we felt like it lacked in flavor and only tasted spicy, if that makes sense. Beef tallow fries were okay and not anything special. Great portions, however, it was still pretty expensive for a food truck burger. I'm glad I got to try this place out and will be back if the filet de fish hits the menu again, and would try their Signature next time. read more

Finally stopped at this food truck downtown during a block party by Sana Sana brewery, which I love. I've been seeing the hype online for La Hamburguesa and it was good, but I'm not sure why there's so much hype. I miss the days when food trucks offered a better value over brick and mortar, but the burgers are even more expensive than the Culinary Gangster spot in Roosevelt Row. This food truck takes the cake for my new favorite burger! Their double smash burger style with high quality ingredients and amazing flavor are gonna be tough to beat. I loved the bacon avocado burger, & my husband loved the signature burger. We found them at The Theodore downtown but will definitely keep an eye on their weekly schedule and visit them at other locations too now. They also have a great cheesecake!! read more

I've been hearing about this food truck for months and finally had the chance to check it out. Not really sure about ambiance. It's a food truck so you shouldn't really expect any. Ordering was quick and easy and food was made to order so it did take a little longer. The food was ok. Don't ask for substitutions because they don't seem to do that. I asked for the special sauce on the side and instead it was swimming in it. I was hoping the fries would make up for the disappointing burger but the fries were so greasy. Their only redeeming item was the homemade ranch. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but for almost $50 for 2 burgers and a side of fries there are a ton of better options. read more

Tried La Hamburguesa for the first time and was genuinely impressed. I ordered the Bacon Avocado burger and it was excellent. Well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. My girlfriend had the chefs special and really enjoyed hers as well. The food was prepared with care, the flavors were balanced, and the service was attentive. Overall, a very solid experience. I'd absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a great burger. read more
We ordered "The Classic" and "Viva Mexico," and I must say, this is the best burger I've had in Phoenix so far! The wagyu patty was so juicy and not greasy at all. The Japanese milk bun was a game-changer - it's way better than the traditional brioche. And the sauce was absolutely delicious! I love this place it was grate who would of thought this place would be selling Wague Burgers on a Japanese milk bun no me this is my new favorite spot from that tasty burger cooked perfectly loved the crispness of the meat there pickels had a good flavor and there amazing bread put the whole thing together the beef fat fry were grate too there super friendly the only negative thing it does take a while fir the food maybe 40 mins but there was only 2 of them cook I will ge back for sure read more
Very solid place for a burger in the valley. Since they're a food truck it's best to check their Instagram for their weekly setup and locations. I have always gone to the Crete tea shop during their pop ups and it never disappoints. The burgers with the Japanese milk buns are homemade and make a huge difference in adding great quality to the burger. Fries are cooked in beef tallow and are $5. Would definitely get them anytime they are near the east! read more

The food quality and portions were perfect for our appetite. We ordered the Le filet de Fish (for lent), fun twist to the filet o fish but 10x better. Thank you. Next time will order your famous hamburguesa! Fries and sauce were amazing. For reference we were at the food truck at Wren House: lines do get long so we waited 30 min in line then waited for our fresh order which was another 45 min. I mean totally worth the wait! Just be prepared. Hanging out at Wren House helped the time fly by. read more

The thing that sets this place apart is the ingredients. From the homemade bun, the sauce, down to the pickles themselves, you can tell just how fresh and good quality everything is. We went on a Friday night around 6 and it wasn't too busy, but there were a lot of orders ahead of ours, so we ended up waiting about a half hour for our burgers and fries, and yes it was 100% worth it. The woman taking orders was so nice, really everyone was! You can also take your food into the restaurant to eat if you want. We don't live far so we took ours home. So happy to report, it travels well! The fries are cooked in beef tallow which give them a level up on crunch and flavor. What made this a 5 for me was just the freshness and quality of the food. To me, as weird as it is, the bun made it. It's a GOOD burger because every element of it is a 10/10. Give it a try! read more

This place lives up to the hype. The meat was candy the milk bun held up to all its toppings the fries were GBD and there was no doubt the sauces were homemade. They are somewhere in the valley at least five days a week. read more
