Honestly, my favorite burger I've ever had. You can really taste the quality of each ingredient, their Wagyu patty is actually so worth the 30 minute line. I did get the spicy viva burger to try as well, and didn't like it as much. It lacked depth of flavor and kinda just tasted spicy. Still a solid burger of course, but I would go back to the classic ones next time. During lent, they had their fish sandwich, which was INSANE. The best one we have ever had. The fish was crispy on the outside, flakey and buttery on the inside. The tartar sauce was perfectly tart and balanced the whole thing. I AM PRAYINGG it comes back for times other than lent. Ruined every other fish sandwich for me. We tried their fries both times we went, and honestly not a fan. They're beef tallow fries so they're supposedly "better" but they were pretty hard and oily, and have the meat taste from the beef tallow that I don't like, I would skip these. La Hamburguesa has been in my bookmarks for quite a while now, and when I saw that they had a fish sandwich special and it was their last day to try it, I had to make plans to make sure I got my hands on it. My friends and I arrived about 20 minutes before the truck opened, and there were already a few people standing in line. The line moved pretty quickly, and the total time from ordering and receiving our food was only about 15 minutes. At this time, the line wrapped around the truck. The food came out hot and fresh. Filet-o-fish is one of my favorites of all time, and the filet de fish did not disappoint at all! The first bite had us levitating and seeing stars. The tartare sauce that the fried fish was smothered in was delicious and creamy, and the fish fillet itself was tender and flaky. The toasted and soft Japanese bun was the cherry on top. Simple and comforting and nostalgic, but elevated in the best way. We also tried their popular Viva Mexico, but we felt like it lacked in flavor and only tasted spicy, if that makes sense. Beef tallow fries were okay and not anything special. Great portions, however, it was still pretty expensive for a food truck burger. Visited La Hamburguesa when they were at Tipsy Cactus in Mesa. I didn't realize how popular they were until we arrived! As soon as we got there you can hear everyone talking about how good they were so I immediately had high hopes. My dad got their viva mexico hamburger and seemed to really enjoy it! He said it was definitely a spicy burger (which is why I think he liked it). My mom and I were indecisive so we both split a bacon avocado and the signature burger. A few friends got the Viva burger, and they said it was SPICY. It's a food truck so it will move around, gotta find the location you want probably on IG. If you drive yourself and you're at Sana Sana, parking will not be easy. Parking is tight and you mostly have to pay. It's a typical food truck, ambiance would be created by location. So at Sana Sana, the outside patio with lights and a beer gives it a nice feel (during winter haha not sure how I would feel during summer) Service was friendly. The line grew out of control and scrambled. As the guy was organizing everyone to get in line he remembered I was in front and told the guy that jumped in front of me to get in line. I really appreciated that. They may have a dessert but since it wasn't listed I completely forgot or maybe they didn't have it that day but I've heard good things about that. Parking was a bear because it's in downtown phx, but that was expected. We didn't wait in line very long, and the employee taking orders was friendly. The fact that this is a food truck is insane. Every item is made to order so it does take a little longer but for perfection it's worth the extra time.
