As I sit here on my lunch break eating the last half of the last Green Chile Burrito I bought, I am saddened that Little Miss BBQ Sunnyslope location is not near me, lol!! People come here for the meats: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, BUT!!! Have you had this GREEN CHILE BURRITO?! I beg you to try it if you have not... most people don't know they even have it, but luckily, for my coworker and I, Director of Operations Matt, walked up to us as we dined in last Wednesday and let us sample the Green Chile. As most of you know, I can't hang when it comes to spicy foods, but this chile is THE EXCEPTION (even though it's only "mildly" spicy). We each ordered the 2 meat plate, but we were so appreciative of the sample he gave us, otherwise we would never have known about it. We ended up ordering 2 burritos for our lunch the very next day!! You can also add cheese to it! I went in again for the 3rd day in a row on Friday, since I'm not sure when I'll work in that area again (I was 10 min away all last week)!! I asked my boss if I could work there on Mondays and Fridays, that's how good this burrito is!! They also have a MEAN Pecan Pie. It's called Bekke's Smoked Pecan Pie and it too, is a must try item! Matt told us it's a secret recipe from one of their employees and the crusts are hand pressed daily. Using a machine is just NOT the same, and I believe it! Since I am not sure when I'll make my way back there, I also bought another pie on Friday. So far, I've only had 1 slice because I need to ration accordingly! Prior to my 3 visits last week, I went to this location last July, when a friend was visiting from out of town. The place is clean and welcoming, and they have the best customer service! On Thursday and Friday when I ordered online and picked up, my orders were ready before the estimated pick up time! Mark was at the pick up window both times and he rocks!! I had forgotten to ask for the Banana Pudding I ordered on Wednesday when we dined in. I called as I drove home, realizing I left without it. Amanda was super friendly when she answered the phone and assured me I would have it when I came the next day. Mark delivered and had it in my bag the next day when I picked up our burritos. Service with a smile is what you'll get here! You cannot go wrong no matter what you order here! The meats are absolutely perfect and the flavor profile on everything is mind-blowing! Do yourself a favor and ask for the Green Chile anything next time you're here. Tell them I sent you! Don't sleep on the Banana Pudding or Bekke's Smoked Pecan Pie, either. Something about that smoking process makes the pie stand out from every other pecan pie you've ever tasted, trust me. It's also NOT super sweet like you're probably used to. If you call in, you can't place an order by phone, so do it online and you'll get a text with an estimated time of pick up. You can skip the line inside, too. Just walk up to the pick up window and you're good to go when you ring the little doorbell. There is plenty of parking outside and they even have a large patio space should you choose to dine outside. All the meats were fall-off-the-bone tender with great flavor, and they definitely don't need any sauce to taste amazing--which was perfect for me since I don't usually like BBQ sauce. My partner and I did the two meat platter - I chose pork belly burnt ends and chopped brisket and double grits (you get choice of two sides.) My partner got the jalapeño cheddar sausage, sliced brisket and added the other sausage and double mac-and-cheese. We shared our plates with each other and we both agreed that the sliced brisket was the best - it was so delicious; melted in your mouth like butter, the fatty part was so good. Visiting from out of town for my son's 5th bday and Father's Day and found this place from Eater's list of best food in Phoenix and it didn't disappoint. Also found out later that it made "Texas Monthly's Best BBQ outside Texas" list. Once I found out they were doing preorders for FD, I knew what our meal for the day was going to be. Ended up ordering 3 different types of BBQ for our group of 7; brisket, beef ribs, and pork ribs. Each one was delicious! Brisket included cuts from both the flat and point which delicious without sauce. Personally, good brisket doesn't need sauce. Beef Dino ribs were super good too! Pork ribs came sauced perfectly and were perfect amount of tender. First place I've been to that did all types of BBQ that well. We ended up doing a pick up order and it couldn't have been easier. They had a long line for dine in but had a separate spot for preorders which was super easy. We showed up a little bit earlier than our scheduled pick up time but once our order was ready everything came packed perfectly in a box. Never heard of this place until a recent mainstream media report they were voted by a rush of Yelp app users rating them number one. So, we made a specific trip to dine here. It's all good, but not the best by any means. If I ever find myself in that area again I'd go back, but it's not good enough to go out of the way. Same for the beans; yes, there was meat in it, but not much of it. The pork rib was good, tender enough. Now, the sliced brisket was VERY good. Nicely smoked/cooked, very tender. You have a choice of three sauces all in plastic squeeze bottles at your table. I tried them all [spicy, house (sweet) and mustard]. All three were as good as you would get anywhere else. This location features a large indoor seating area, and an outdoor area with long bench seating. You order at the counter and take your meal to sit. The best part, this location has Mac & Cheese!! I ordered the two meat combo and got the Pork Belly & Brisket. They only serve the Pork Belly on Sundays, which is a must have if you make it on a Sunday. I've been to this location a couple of times, however I much more prefer the original location. The vibe and quality of the good just is better at the OG spot. However I do like the interior of this one and is much more dine in friendly. Not sure what was going on with this location the other day when I came here but there wasn't even that long of a line but it still took almost 45 mins to get to the front of the line. It seems like maybe they had a new butcher or something cus it was taking a long time. Anyways, food is of course always solid. March 31, 2026 at 3 p.m. They were open, fully stocked. 1962 was the year my Dad was sent to Oklahoma to teach Air Forces from across the globe how to keep the engines of their nuke-tipped Intercontinental Ballistic Missles prepped and ready in case Boom Moment arrived. We lived to the south in Vernon, Texas where I learned the culinary tradition of Moon Pies and RC Cola, or Dr. Pepper. I also had my first meal of Texas Bar B Que. That set my taste for BBQ Brisket and BBQ beans; sweet, smoky and tender. I've since dined in Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Abilene and Merkel. We hit Mr. B's fabulously delicious BBQ near Harper's Ferry, VA. Little Miss BBQ is a very cool place. It is worth a visit for the architecture alone. The pits are out the window as you enter the doors and hook a left to the BBQ ride crowd control railing. Menu is on the wall, on at least two spots. The northwest corner has a takeout counter. We ordered brisket sandwich and beans. The brisket was further flavored choosing one or more of the three sauces: sweet hot ish BBQ, sweet mustard sauce and one more flavor. My top taste of the meal was prickly pear lemonade. Going back for a refill I found 2/3 lemonade and 1/3 prickly pear made my perfect BBQ beverage. The peppery beans with another serving of pulled meat mixed in improved on my palate with sweet sauce added. The mustard sauce was recommended for our sandwich. It was a good addition. We ordered that along with the brisket and four jalapeño cheddar sausages, plus sides of mac and cheese, jalapeño cheddar grits, and beans. I've never had BBQ this good. Been here twice, once before the recent "best bbq" yelp article and once after, opinion still the same first time we waited a very long time like everyone else, mind you this was before the article but it was still very popular before that. second time showed up at 1 PM on a Sunday to no line, and nothing was out yet. i'm by no means a bbq connoisseur, i've never had texas bbq, im just a regular guy who loves meat. that being said, i do not understand the hype, its not the BEST i've ever had, but im also not saying its bad by any means, it is undeniably good food, but im not thinking about it every night before i go to bed. the brisket and pulled pork were fine, a little dry but not egregious. the brisket comes sauced? idk if that's normal but they will give you a sample of brisket with no sauce, but once you order it they sauce it for you, idk if that's traditional or what but i felt a little rug pulled bc i didn't really care for whatever sauce they put on it. the sample brisket was also much moister than the brisket we actually got, which made me think they reserve a better cut to give out as samples...ill put my tinfoil hat away now...no notes on pulled pork, not bad, not incredible, just good the burnt ends were super salty, like unbearably salty, the first bite was fine but the saltiness was just too much after a while and a lot of the pieces were really dry and chewy, i thought maybe i was going crazy so i brought home the leftovers and it was indeed just way too salty the turkey is absolutely outstanding, i DO think about the turkey every night before i go to bed (i know what i said earlier but that was more a general remark on the place as a whole), THIS is what little miss bbq should be known for and this is what i would recommend at this place the sides are not really my taste, i didn't really like any of the sides (all but grits), they're all just very normal average versions of what you'd expect, nothing special, overall not writin home about any of the sides i've had better at naked bbq and i like their sides better (carolina slaw all the way yall) read more

Best BBQ I've had in AZ !!! I'm so glad I finally went and so impressed with the quality of the food you can tell they love what they are doing. I got the brisket sandwich which comes with two sides and I got mac & cheese and beans. The pricing felt a bit high considering the quality of the food. We ordered two kids' meals--one being the brisket--and while the brisket was tasty when paired with the barbecue sauce, the overall experience fell short. I specifically expected the barbecue to be cooked on an actual grill, but the ribs arrived lukewarm and appeared to be prepared in a closed-off smoker. The sides were also hit-or-miss. The beans were undercooked and hard, the potato salad was prepared with cubed potatoes rather than the traditional style I expected, and the mac and cheese appeared to be boxed. We watched a long while while brisket was sliced l, weighed and packed for to go orders before anyone looked up and greeted us. You order at the counter, and your order is ready by the time you have paid. I went first, choosing a $28 two meat plate including turkey and beef brisket with sides of cheddar jalapeno grits and coleslaw. Hold the white bread for this gluten free gal who is thrilled with the side options. I chose half fatty and half lean brisket. I could not believe how much meat the piled on this plate! Pickles and onions, yes! This was the most flavorful and tender smoked turkey I have ever experienced, could not stop eating it! Brisket is really excellent as well, with a slight bark and a bit salty. I tried spicy and house sauces, preferring the house. I really loved the jalapeno cheese grits, very cheesy with an afterburn. The coleslaw was traditional, nice flavor but not special. I feel the side portion was small for the amount of meat, maybe because liqudy. I also had a Mango Foxtrot cider, a sweet fruity beer like glass, slightly fizzy and refreshing. Husband ordered a brisket plate with beans and potato salad. He went for the jalapeno garnish and the spicy sauce, and accepted the offered slice of white bread. Potato salad was piled high and very tasty, he said they were kind of snappy, not overcooked and mushy. Beans were baked slightly sweet and smoky, another liquid side with a small portion. Fountain soda here. College son number one ordered a brisket sandwich with macaroni and cheese. It included raw onions and a really nice plain bun, simple but effective. Again, piled with meat. College son number two ordered the pork ribs plate and double mac and cheese. These were some of the meatiest ribs you have ever seen, no fat, no skin just solid meat. So flavorful and tender the hardly needed sauce! Devoured, of course, along with all the mac. Mac was extremely orange, but no complaints. Staff was around to bus the table as we emptied our paper plates and packed our leftovers. There was so much meat left over, I am very pleased to get another meal! This is some of the best barbecue I've ever had. We were lucky enough to come on Saturday and got the beef ribs. But one thing I have to give them kudos for a well is their staff. This is the friendliest restaurant I've ever been to. The beans weren't quite ready yet and we had to wait a few minutes for them . They felt so bad that they gave us a complementary banana pudding. OK, and that banana pudding is amazing!!! It's like baby angels made it. The beans were also quite delicious. We also had the beef brisket that just melted in your mouth. You didn't even need your knife to cut it. Yes it's a little pricey, but because everything is top-notch quality! read more
