Stumbled across this gem while visiting Scottsdale for Spring Training. I saw the reviews coming out the airport and was stunned at the reviews. We got our rental car and drove right over. Because we were hungry we decided not to wait in the line but reschedule to go back on Friday. I looked more at the reviews and Tik Tok's and saw this place was legit and the beef rib was to die for. Comes Friday, we get there at 10:15 am right before the line built up. We spoke with one of the employees for while regarding what to order and about Spring Training while we were in line. As we got in, you order at the counter and pick what you want. The employees are cutting up the food in front of you and weighing it. The inside area has limited seating and it's very narrow. Outside theres a good amount of seating but filled up right away. I ordered the beef rib for my dad and I to share, a plate for myself with brisket and turkey. I got cole slaw and mac sald on the side, both were kind've whatever for me. The turkey honestly is a sleeper pick, it was delicious and more flavorful that I thought. Brisket was mouthwatering and so tender but that beef rib lived to the hype. It fell off the bone and had the perfect fattiness to tender ratio. We enjoyed the outside and feasted but it's quite expensive like all BBQ. The quality was fresh and I would definitely recommend if you are in the area. The food was amazing. I got the two meat plate for about $24 . I got brisket and pulled pork , potato salad and coleslaw. Banana pudding as desert. The service was really good the workers were very welcoming and nice. The overall vibe and ambiance is chill. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Inside has a/c if you want to stay super cool. Haven't have the brisket, and opted for the jalapeño cheddar sausage, cheese grits, and the potato salad. Brisket was all that greens are made of, the sausage was as expected. Grits were loaded with flavor, and the potato salad was average. Sauces were available, but none were necessary! Only downside was lack of local beers... opted for a Coke but cold beer would out this over the top! First visit to Little Miss BBQ after hearing the hype for awhile and it definitely lived up to a lot of it--with a few caveats. We got there around 11:15, just 15 minutes after opening, and the place was already buzzing. Parking was tight, but we managed to snag the last spot. The line, though, was no joke--it took about 40 minutes to reach the counter. On the plus side, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the wait a bit more bearable. The sandwiches are on the pricier side--around $20 for what looked like roughly a third of a pound--but the quality of the meat is clear. I had the sliced brisket, and my husband went for the chopped brisket. Both were smoky, moist, and packed with flavor. Maybe just a touch too salty for our personal taste, but still really enjoyable overall. The coleslaw was a nice surprise--tangy, fresh, and a great balance to the richness of the meat. All in all, a solid experience and worth trying at least once. Next time, I'd definitely order ahead to skip the long wait. Sorry about not having pictures of the sandwiches. Wow! I know there are a lot of BBQ places and there are several just like this one, but WOW! It's not just the food, which is amazing! It's the dudes serving you up! Like these guys are so fun and loud and friendly! There are two guys that really do a lot of talking while you're in line and the one in particular is funny and very entertaining. I had the Jeffe Sandwich with Ranch Beans and slaw and I grabbed a single serve SMOKED pecan pie! I didn't get a pic of the pie but it was AMAZING! I'm telling you, I didn't want to get caught recording them or I would have gotten way better videos because these guys are great! So if you're hungry come early, they open at 11am & the line grows FAST & long. The parking lot is small, maybe 35 spots. I always get the sliced brisket with jalapeno grits! Everything they offer is really good, the staff is very friendly & they bust their butts to make as much as they can for you. Was hungry for BBQ and came across this pace and it's reviews. After reading several I decided I had to try it. While the place was very basic (food line, tables outside) the food was terrific. I had brisket, pulled pork, and 2 pork belly burnt ends along with coleslaw and potato salad. HOLY H3LL Batman the flavor was out of this world. I am not big on spice and have a low tolerance for it so I can say it was a tad spicy for me but for 90% of the human race would prob say there didn't notice the heat. It didn't stop me from enjoying all of it. I especailly like they had a mustard bbq sauce along with their sweet & tangy, and spicy. No I didn't try the spicy but I did try the other two. I found the meat realy didn't need any sauce and quit after the first couple bites with each. sides we good, nothing to write home about, seating like I said was outdoors under a shelter so you don't roast in the sun but I don't see enjoying it in mid July or Aug so thankfull it was mid January for me. Holy crap, this place is fantastic!!! You can purchase meat by the pound or get sandwiches. I recommend the jefe. You can also get two meat plates with two sides. Three types of barbecue sauce, mustard, which I highly recommend, are spicy. Several different types of soda and free water to drink. Plenty of seating inside and out, but I highly recommend arriving early and standing in line, since it is first-come, first-served, and once they're out, they're done. Laid back fun atmosphere. Staff help make decisions and suggest different products, and they laugh and joke with each other and with you, the customer. I've got a confession... I had never been to Little Miss BBQ before, and after finally going, I can officially say: it is absolutely worth the hype. Every award, every line, every rave review. Everything was phenomenal. The brisket was tender and buttery with that perfectly smoky. The pulled pork was insanely juicy. Even the sides tasted like they got the same love and attention as the meats.  You can smell the magic before you even reach the door, and the first bite truly lives up. We went late in the afternoon on a weekday and had maybe one or two people in front of us. There was shockingly not that much of a wait. Highly recommend checking it out around that time so you don't have to wait outside in line. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and you just know you're in for something good.  If you haven't tried Little Miss BBQ yet, (don't wait as long as me!) make it your next stop. I was craving good BBQ so I decided to take the hike to LMB. I drove 40 mins for what I'd call terrible food! I never write bad reviews but this one is warranted. The staff was very friendly upon entering the restaurant & they even asked me my weekend plans. I ordered the Burnt Ends, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, along with Banana Pudding. A lot of carbs, I know! But I haven't had comfort food like this in a good while. Needless to say, the Burnt Ends were extremely salty, the Potato Salad was watery & the potatoes were still hard. The baked beans were dry as well. The best thing out of the entire meal was the Banana Pudding. I noticed that all of the food was covered behind the glass, which should have been the first warning. Lol Customers can't see what they're ordering beforehand. You'll have to order & pay first before seeing what you're getting. SMH Needless to say, I won't be back. I highly recommend the green chili burrito and the two meat plate with brisket and ribs. So I heard so much good about this BBQ and that this is the best BBQ in Arizona.. But everytime I think about coming here it's too far.. But today I accidentally realized I was really close, so I was happy to try it out. Parking lot is little busy with people in and out, and sitting inside is limited. For the side ordered the jalapeños cheddar grits and coke slaw. Guy taking my order was nice enough to give me small fat end of the brisket while I waited. Oh snap. So fatty and flavorful. OK so I sat down and looked at the sauce. Regular, spicy and mustard. Nice selection of BBQ sauce. I started eating because I couldn't wait and I realized I didn't take my first picture which happens here and there. Brisket I have to say was best brisket I have ever had at a BBQ joint. The fatty end was so yummy melt in your mouth, regular meaty cut was still nice and moist and flavorful. Nice smoke color on the edge. Not too dry and nice light smoke flavor... Pork rub was also pretty dang good. Again probably the best I have had in Arizona.. Probably second to Peg Leg Porkers in Tennessee. Nice and juicy and almost fall off the bone but not too much to where meat falls off before you take a bite. BBQ sauces were really good also. Spicy was really not spicy at all.. I which it was little spicier.. The mustard one was probably one of the best mustard sauce at. BBQ place. Coleslaw.. So fresh and crunchy tangy yummy coleslaw.. One of the best coleslaw at BBQ place. Alright y'all, I get the hype. Some friends and I came to Little Miss on a Saturday. We made sure to get in line when they opened at 11am and it honestly wasn't too bad of a wait. They have just a few tables inside and more seating outside. I also noticed a lot of people just took their orders to go. Since there were four of us, we decided to share the big family platter which came with two sides, bread, two types of meat and sausages. Seriously everything I tried was a 10 out of 10. My favorites were a tie between the jalapeño cheddar sausage and the brisket. I tried all three of their homemade bbq sauces. I really liked them all so I couldn't choose a favor there. I will 100% be back here. It was so good and to be honest even better than a lot of the barbecue I've had in Texas. The workers are also the nicest people ever. Just to be clear, still the best authentic barbecue in Arizona. Argue all you want, but as a BBQ fan, this is butter!!!! When brisket literally "melts in your mouth"... that's all I need to say!!!!! I have frequently visited the original locations for years. Typically, I do online orders with friends, or we'll do a couple of large orders on Thursday, which include pastrami about every three months. I was craving some brisket and was leaving downtown Phoenix... figured I'd take a chance with the 110°+ temperature to get some brisket & ribs. When I arrived, I was fortunate to be able to get a parking spot with ease, and there were only a few people in line (6 in front of me, and that ain't bad). Staff are extremely passionate about their food and will offer up some samples while you wait. For me, when it comes to my brisket, I like the fatty part, so make sure you request but you still can't go wrong with the lean. Everything was on point, and given the fact that I was only doing protein this day, I couldn't help but enjoy myself immensely. There are only about 15-20 seats inside, so if you come by yourself, make sure you feel comfortable sitting with others, or you can make your way outside to the shaded area. During the summer, the misters are pumping, but I feel like that only works for people visiting Arizona, thinking it's a relief!!! I look at what others order and they grab combo plates... The sides are typical sides, but not ones I favor. Beans, coleslaw, Potato Salad, Jalapeno Grits (I've had a few times and are good). We shared Sliced Brisket / Beef Rib / Pork Spare Ribs / Turkey Breast / Pork Belly Burnt Ends with coleslaw and potato salad. I've had bbq in Texas several times and this is comparable which is rare! I was so impressed they even nailed the tenderness of the turkey. I appreciated the sides tasted lighter and not terribly mayo heavy. Staff were so friendly and patient. Only downside is how small this location is - they can only serve one customer at a time and have a few indoor tables. We stopped here for a dinner while traveling because it was close to the highway with great ratings, and oh wow -- we were not misled! This is an excellent barbecue joint with super friendly staff and a rustic but charming vibe. We got the chopped brisket, which was phenomenally tender, smoky, and well-seasoned. I tried it with various sauces, which were all good, but honestly the meat didn't need the sauce at all. I ate most of it without anything added. The cole slaw is very traditional, while the potato salad was a bit more onion-heavy than your average. I liked the kick that gave it, though! I got the seasonal fall dessert: a pumpkin Nutella pie. Ohhh my gosh, was it phenomenal. I'm a big fan of pumpkin pie, and the addition of Nutella to this one made it super decadent. There's not much to say that hasn't been said about Little Miss BBQ, other than yup, it's pretty great. No, it's not in the prettiest part of town, but it is very airport adjacent for those heading in/out of town. The brisket is solid, the ribs are great, the beef rib is a behemoth and the 707 sausage is really good. Side options are limited, but the potato salad is plenty for me and an excuse to focus on the meats. It's interesting that this place is located in the middle of an industrial area and very little food competition. They have their entire BBQ set up in the front to see and the actual indoor area is quite small. There's ample outdoor seating but there's a bunch of flies buzzing about there though. Customer service was amiable. I got a two meat platter plate for $28. Admittedly, it's not that much food but the quality was amazing. I tried out the sausage and sliced brisket and jalepeno cheddar grits. Oddly enough, my favorite part of my meal were the jalepeno cheddar grits. I went back inside to order a pint of jalepeno cheddar grits to go. The people in front of me wanted sausage but it ran out and they had to go home. What I found really odd was that later on, I overheard the workers talking about a new batch of sausages going to be ready in 20 minutes. Note that other items were no longer for sale despite it not even being close to their closing time. They even did not have enough jalepeno cheddar grits for me and I was forced to buy a smaller size. The biggest problem here is definitely a supply issue. I would advise calling ahead in advance to make sure they have the food you want otherwise it'll be a waste of time and gas to get here. read more

I've had Little Miss BBQ on my radar for quite a while. Happened to be in the neighborhood right when they opened, so I figured it should be very fresh food. The service was fairly friendly in explaining how to go about ordering and what items were. I purchased several meats for take out and rushed home so it would stay fairly warm. The ribs were just ok. They were slightly fatty and the flavor was good but so many people rave about this place, I thought I would be WOWED. Nope, not at all. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was pretty good. I also purchased a pecan pie which was also just ok. Maybe it was an off day. Not sure I'd go out of my way to go here again, but if someone I know wanted to go I'd probably give it another try. read more

Don't let the exterior fool you. Judge by the line waiting to get this amazing food. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The dining area, although small, was clean and cozy. I can't say enough good things about Little Miss BBQ. They have huge smokers outside and picnic tables for those who want to enjoy a little sunshine. The patio is also dog friendly, which we appreciated since we always travel with our pups. They close at 7:00 PM or until they sell out and we arrived right at 6:30 PM, so we were a little afraid that they might run out of what we wanted. I told my husband, whatever they've got left just order it because we have to try it. He came back with the jalapeño grits, the chili beans, fatty brisket, and the ribs. California has a ton of great eats and their fair share of great barbecue. Yet nothing compares to Little Miss BBQ. Imagine a brisket that is meaty and fatty and melt-in-your-mouth... Imagine you can cut it with a plastic spoon... No lie, and I can't even make it up. I wish I had a plate full of fatty brisket. The ribs were also delicious and fall off the bone, yet I find myself writing this thinking just about the brisket. The jalapeño grits were my favorite side and while the chili beans had great taste and were a hit with my husband, the grits were really where it was at for me. In all honesty, I could've done without the grits and the chili beans and the ribs and just substitutes all of that back for fatty brisket. Service was quick and friendly. Got to the counter and in about 10 minutes after ordering, our food was hot and ready. I should also note that we came on a Tuesday evening and there was no line and maybe four or five people who were sitting outside, so we must've gotten really lucky considering all of the other reviews that say waiting is almost an hour. If you are traveling to Arizona, or even passing through there are two locations and I highly recommend you try and make it a point just for the brisket. read more

The building itself is quite small, just enough to have a serving area and a few dining tables inside. The patio outside is quite roomy. There is plenty of parking there as well. Food-wise, I liked that their menu is simple. We ordered their sliced brisket, ribs, pulled pork, potato salad, and beans. The quality of the meat is fantastic and the food is so fresh. Our favorite meat was the ribs and our favorite side was the potato salad. Portions were generous and the staff were kind and attentive. The only drawback was the pricing, it was a bit more expensive than I normally like to pay for good BBQ (a two-meat plate with 2 sides came out to around $30). This place was recommended to me from a coworker from New York wanted barbecue and he said that this place is really good. I have to say I was a little disappointed there was no burnt ends or pork belly available. I was told that they ran out at 3 PM. Kinda expected that things are really good but overall had the ribs and brisket with potato salad and beans and it was actually really good. The ribs were wild to fall off the ball and a brisket was a very tender and really good. I don't think Little Miss BBQ qualifies as a hidden gem as it's nestled oddly in between several commercial buildings , it's easy to miss. It also has thousands of reviews , quite the antithesis of a hidden gem but it does ooze mom n pop vibes. This location is small. I was lucky to find seating at the one of 5/6 tables.
