I'm pretty sure I just had chicken with crack sauce. This place was a banger! We came late bc it was our first time trying. Sadly the Barg, beef koobedeih and the other stuff was out so we tried the pork ribs and chicken..... OOOOOOH WWWWWEEEEEEEE IT WAS SO GOOD! honestly this place is so worth the money. Lastly, I love the guy that was serving us. You can tell he loves what he does and he's loving life. He makes you feel like fam.
When I visit the phoenix area this place is the first place I want to go back to . Everything is cooked fresh and I mean juicy tasty savory fresh. I missed last year but I still remember the flavor of the meats and sauce . Ordered the pork rib combo with basmati rice , grilled tomatoes and peppers and the Shirazi salad . And the chicken thigh combo . Omg! Enough to feed 8 ! Well worth the price and drive . My wife can't stop commenting how good this place is and I totally agree . I'm back again in November and my first meal will be here to go. Tip is to call in when they open and place your order for pickup later . They will run out!

We got there right before they sold out. Said it would take 25 min but came out in less than 15! They even gave us two extra sauces which was sooo yum, next time I'll definitely order extra sauce. The flavors here are INSANE, it was piping hot and you can taste the mesquite. Worth all the hype and all the dollars. This plate was enough for 2 so the value isn't bad at all, especially for this quality of food. The tomato's and jalapeños were the perfect touch for a little bit of freshness. I loved taking a bite out of the tomato for some tang.

The first visit tried the chicken tenders around dinner time, as it was the only thing left. It was ready in about 15 mins in a nice container to go, with generous portion size enough for 2 people really. The chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with mesquite flavor. My second visit the next day I called ahead and ordered barg kabob, it took about an hour to get it ready. Again it was packed nicely, huge portion size, and the meat was flavorful and tender. The service front of the house couldn't be nicer. The restaurant is really geared toward takeout, there are 2 tables outside and 4 barstools inside. Would reccomend highly to others and would come back again! Some suggestions that may make the experience even better 1) not much can be done about this given the location but only 2 parking spots for the restaurant makes it really hard to get in and out 2) would be nice if the meats were cut smaller, chicken and beef pieces are quite large and with a plastic knife can be difficult to cut. There was also some variation in how cooked the beef pieces were due to size variation 3) the phone ordering system could be improved. Took 15 mins of trying to get connected, and then another hour wait to get the food. An online ordering system would make this much more efficient 4) On my second visit I called first thing when opened to try to order the koobideh, was told sold out already. Would be nice if can prepare more as that seems to be a favorite
It's hard to stay on top with a small establishment and premium prices and yet here we are. Based on food merit alone, this place overcomes any negatives I might have because it is just that fresh, authentic, and tasty. Word to the wise: go early and call ahead because they sell out and it takes a while to cook as it's grilled to order!

It's a pick up place, not sit and eat. Very smoky in there and I can see why from the very delicious smoky chicken. I got the chicken tender combo (they sold out of the thighs one hour past open) and told them when I wanted to pick it up! It was about $30 but is enough for four servings. A smackin good deal if you ask me. There is a hefty load of meat and it's so flavorful and juicy. It comes on heaping portion of rice with two roasted ginormous tomatoes and a pepper. I bought it a day ahead so I placed it in containers to keep it fresh and I had to get extra ones because there was jsut so much food. It came with some cucumbers and tomato salad, you get choice of tzatziki or a tahini sauce and the guy gave me both because it was my first time! I will be back very soon. Very impressed. Very homemade and small batch special. Stop in the middle eastern bakery and deli 10 steps away for some bread and dessert provisions!

When we approached the owner was delightful and explained everything to us including a warning that the portion sizes were large. We settled on one combo (to share) and a chicken kabob. It came with basmati rice, roasted tomatoes and a few other dressings. Couldn't even finish like a quarter of it because it was sooo much food. Will definitely come back again, probably to sample other meats and just get the same combination to eat throughout the week. Perfect for meal prep for the week. We ate outside where there was three tables but not ideal if you're expecting a "dining in" experience. You can see that in the photos and in the reviews tho so it wasn't a surprise.

Love this place! Food is phenomenal and the couple that run it are so nice! Skewered meats are cooked to order outside over actual fire. Thank you Tony for braving that heat to cook for us, always with a huge smile! As noted food is cooked to order so it takes a little bit. They do list cook times on their website and you can call ahead. I hear they sometimes run out of some options, but everything is fantastic so just pick something else. Or call ahead! The standard order is a meal with grilled veggies and sauce and rice and some shirazi salad. I like to do just the skewers with the chimi sauce (very different than other chimichurri I've had, but good!) and a large order of shirazi salad and eat that with fresh lavosh from the Middle Eastern store next door. I can't say I have a favorite meat option because they are all so good!! I also saw they're running a lunch special now. Great deal! read more

We arrived at 11:45am and they were friendly enough to let us in and start our order. They are good people in here from the owner to the chefs in the back to the person who takes our order. Food quality is equal to a home cooked meal! The ingredients are healthy because we didn't feel bloated after the meal. I would come here again. I don't know where to start...the food or chef/owner Tony. OK, let's start with the food. I ordered the chicken thigh skewer with rice and Tony insisted on bringing me some Koobideh as well. It is an insane amount of insanely good food! Not cheap, but an incredible value for the sheer amount and quality of food. I loved the char and marinade on the chicken. The Koobideh was bursting with juicy goodness...a far cry from the sad dried out beef from most places. Everything was grilled perfectly. I was in Phoenix for business, but I live the LA area. I have no doubt that this is the best Armenian and Mediterranean food in AZ...but I would rank at it the top in LA as well and that is saying something. (Sorry, Zankou! You know I still love you too! Note to Tony: you should visit LA, go to Zankou, and copy their garlic sauce. It would be a great addition to your food. I think that it is similar to Lebanese toum...and Zankou's version makes everything better!). Now on to Tony. He is worth the trip to this restaurant by himself. He is a character in the best possible way. He knows every customer who walks in the door, and if the hospitality he showed me as a first time customer is the norm, it is easy to see why people keep coming back. His passion and love for the food and his customers is very evident. If you are having a bad day, skip therapy and go see Tony. Your head, stomach, and wallet will thank you. It is primarily take-out, but I ate at the 4 or 5 seat counter and they have 1 or 2 small tables outside as well. On my next visit I want to try the Pork Ribs and the Beef Barg! If you open an LA outpost, I will be first in line! read more

The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious and fresh. You can really taste the quality in every bite. One thing to keep in mind is that they grill everything over mesquite charcoal, which gives it amazing flavor but can cause a bit of a wait--especially if they're swapping out for fresh charcoal. I'd recommend calling in your order ahead of time. I called 30 minutes before arriving and still waited about another 15-20 minutes, but the team was so kind about it--they even offered free drinks and extra sauce for the wait. If you're looking for flavorful, freshly grilled food and great service, this place is definitely worth it. Just plan ahead and be patient--it's worth every minute. read more

This place is such a gem when I visit the phoenix area . The food is delicious and offers a bountiful meal . I ordered the pork rib combo and the chicken tenderloin skewer with a side of basmati rice. When my wife saw the volume of food there was no way we could finish it all in one sitting . It could have lasted 3 days but we finished it in 2 days . So tasty .... The staff are so polite and gracious . My wife says the next time we visit phoenix , no need to go anywhere other than Kabob Grill N Go! Was finally excited to get a chance to try this spot after much hype from local influencers and Guy! It is a bit far from me so ordered ahead to ensure it was ready for pickup at the time that was desired to make it home for dinner lol. The good: the service. the portion was pretty decent that covered us for a few split meals and the flavors tasted fresh. We got chicken and meat combo and the preferred protein was the chicken. The rice was plentiful but had NO flavor but I guess the flavor from the protein marinade and side sauces helped make up for it a bit. The veggies were good and grilled nicely. Ambiance is pretty straight forward take out spot, nothing fancy but be prepared to leave smelling like smoke lol. I ordered the chicken thighs combo that comes with rice and a cucumber salad it was seasoned well,moist,and enough food for two or even three for 29$ I wish it came with some kind of pita but now I know to go next door to the Mediterranean bakery to get my pita next time and I'm definitely going back to try everything on the menu. read more

My nail girl @shortiesnailz has excellent food recommendations around the Phoenix area and this was no exception. I've had the spot book marked on Yelp for a while, and we finally made it down here after we picked our son up at the airport for spring break. We were prepared to have a giant celebratory feast, trying this spot for the first time. I was confident it would be good because of the high praise from Erika, and also the awards and accolades the spot has earned. When we walked in, I spotted a Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives poster signed by Guy Fieri and knew this place was the real deal. The man who served us at the counter was extra helpful and friendly, and asked if it was our first time in. We took all of his food and order recommendations. We ordered: - Beef Barg Combo x2 - Tender cuts of sliced steak. skewered, marinated and charbroiled to perfection over a mesquite flame - Chicken Tenders Combo - Farm-fresh cuts of skinless chicken tenders, seasoned, marinated with onions and spices, charbroiled to perfection over a mesquite flame - Chicken Boneless Thigh Combo - Farm-fresh skinless chicken, cut in pieces, seasoned, marinated with onions and spices, charbroiled to perfection over a mesquite flame (ALL COMBOS SERVED WITH WHITE BASMATI RICE, SHIRAZI SALAD, GRILLED VEGGIES, AND CHOICE OF DIP) The server asked if we would like everything in one large tray and we said yes. He said he would throw in some extra grilled vegetables and Anaheim peppers for us. We were also given a large Shirazi Salad (Chopped cucumber, tomato and parsley with fresh lime juice and extra virgin olive oil dressing), Grilled Eggplant Salad (Grilled eggplant, onions, red bell pepper, garlic, and tomato), Cucumber Mint Dip, and Chimichurri Dip. We truly did have a feast when we got home. We loved all of the meats and grilled vegetables on a bed of fragrant basmati rice along with the delicious sides. I don't have a favorite side. They were all good. My favorite meat was the chicken. It is just beyond amazing. It is tender and marinated and delicious with crisp burnt edges. We were allowed to use the gender neutral bathroom at the back after we had traveled such a far distance, and I got to peek at the outdoor fire grill and the kitchen as I walked through to find the restroom. We were one of the first customers there and got our order in right away, but people were already on the phone calling and the place was busy with phone orders. It took a while for our order to get ready so we went next-door to the Middle Eastern bakery and picked up some more goodies and snacked on some grape leaves and spinach pies with rose water lemonade and Arabic coffee while we waited at the patio tables at the front of Kabob Grill n Go. We watched the line of people come in and get longer as everybody wanted to get their orders in for Saturday lunch and dinner. This place is delicious and service is great. Next time we're downtown I look forward to visiting again. read more

Parked my car in the back and was instantly hit with the fantastic smell of the meats cooking walking over. Service was great and the owner is very nice. They sell out of meats quickly so order early. Had the chicken thick and the pork rib. A combo portion is definitely enough to feed 2 people. The chicken was tender and the sauce on top complimented it well. Pork rib was great as well. The salad was refreshing and the orange sauce with it made for a great bite. They make everything fresh so it takes about 30 minutes to cook. Call in advance if you don't have time to spare. Will def be back read more
This family-owned Persian-Armenian gem was featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives." If it's good enough for Guy, it's definitely worth a try! Chef Tony has a special set of skills! His vibrant energy shines through in his passion for cooking. His wife Hasmik was so sweet and welcomed my family and me with the warmest smile. She patiently walked us through the menu and gave us fantastic recommendations. Oh. My. Kabob! WOW! The chicken thigh combo is simply out of this world! It's like Chef Tony marinated each piece in pure happiness before grilling them to succulent perfection. The combo comes with a side of juicy Roma tomatoes and bell peppers that add an extra burst of flavor to every bite. And the portion sizes were huge! Between the three of us, we still had to take leftovers home. The inside is cozy and can get a bit smoky from the grill, but there's a lovely table outside where you can enjoy your meal in the fresh air. We were so impressed with the food and overall experience that we decided to cater my Granny's 90th birthday lunch from here. Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like some seriously delicious Persian-Armenian magic! The food was a hit, and my family members kept asking where we got this amazing food. The cutest thing I've ever seen was their daughter's artwork for sale. Her drawings added such a personal and charming touch to the whole experience.
