An average rating of 4.8 is a bold statement from the Yelp community. Zuki's has been on my radar because of that. For me, a 4.8 would translate to a damn near perfect platter. I ordered the beef kebobs. I thought it was OK, overall. The kebobs were tasty, the rice was average, the pita was a little soggy, the hummus was fair, and the garlic was sauce was a pass for me. I went here for lunch today after seeing the reviews. I had the gyro plate and small hummus. The gyro meat was amazing, super moist and well seasoned. I like that it's not shaved super thin (personal preference). The rice wasn't anything special but it was good nonetheless. The hummus was also so, so good. The flavor was spot on and the drizzle of olive oil on the top. I'd say the only downside would be the area of town is slightly sketchy. Otherwise the food is terrific and the prices are reasonable. You cannot eat clean, but you can see it. There are no spots on this floor. The tables devoid of any film shine. No water spots. The menu is simple. Some of the food on it is not so simple to make. Leave it to Zukis to take care of that. You will be glad. The food is flavorful, without being overpowering. The Gyro's flavoring is best described as highly aromatic. It is light (for a Gyro). The French fries were rather plain, bland. The fries should be that way. They are a side dish for the main course. Zukis deserves it's five rating. It's Gyro is outstanding. It follows the rules of fine dining (yes this little shop, in a sketchy neighborhood). Zuki's deserves five stars. read more

And if its below a 3 experience i won't even comment, unless its God awful experience. this place is definitely hard to give just a 4 star, its a twinner between 4 &5. Had intentions on trying Franks Deli today but they were closed on Weekends , seen that Zuki's Pita had excellent reviews 2 miles away. Settled on ordering a Gyro instead of the Chicken Shawarma, which was very tasty, tender, and airy not filling at all, compared to a local burrito at similar cost. Place is very clean and organized, with pleasant customer service. If there was anything that was a bit of a issue was the sketch area, and the smallish portions, im a big eater, but for those who are not, the sizes are perfect. Visited at a non-busy time. Felt like having Greek food & this place had great reviews. Place was spacious, clean and food smelled great! I was expecting to get steak but was convinced by the employee to try the gyro as it comes. I'm so glad I did it was amazing! The rice was good and plentiful. The steak wrap tasted so good as well. Both meals were very filling. The side of fries fell short. They should have come seasoned with garlic & feta. At least that's what we expected. Staff was nice. Drink options were good too. "WHY IS EVERYTHING EXTRA." $34 for two people seems ridiculous. INFLATION !!! I love this place and it's been awhile since I've come back and so when I did I was disappointed by two things. The $6 hummus when I ordered it to go seemed like I got a lot more than when I got it to eat there. (Portions seem smaller) and honestly as much as I love their hummus I can't justify spending $6 for a small plate of hummus which barely feeds two people. I don't know if it's inflation or what but im sadden by this! Another thing I don't like is that they charge extra for pita bread or any type of sauce. Like damn they really trying to squeeze every penny out of you. I get it you're a business and you need to make a profit but it's little things like that that will prevent me from coming back. AND ITS RAMADAN!!! Where is the spirit of giving. Would you rather give away a small tzatziki sauce and bread as courtesy or would you rather lose a customer. The service was fast, though not particularly friendly. There was no smile to be found. I ordered the Beef Kabob combo which included a pita sandwich, side salad and fountain drink. The pita, itself, was remarkably soft and fresh. The beef filling was a tiny bit chewy, though flavorful. The side salad was slightly yellowed. The leaves were sliced (like put through a meat slicer). I prefer them to be shredded. The vinaigrette dressing was good, though had a tad too much vinegar for my personal taste. Please be aware, like many other businesses, they've increased their prices. Old literature or screenshots may have outdated information. We live around the corner and had meaning to try this place for years. The good, clean restaurant, friendly staff. Clean? I'm mean floors, walls, counters, windows, impressive. I also appreciated the reserved type parking. We ordered "to go". No one else was in the restaurant, and all employees who were behind the counter were at the ready. (They forgot to put in the side of rice we ordered, we called and they offered something. By this time we were almost done with what we had purchased, two euros and a salad. I'm not saying we won't go back, in a pinch, it is right around the corner. We did both agreed the portions are very small for the price, and somewhat flavorless to us. I think it was the pita that filled us up more than the portion of meat. Maybe if they did shave the meat it would have felt like more. The service is friendly and food came out quick even though they make it fresh. The food is amazing! So much flavor and portion size is great. The tabbouleh salad is delicious! In the mood for Mediterranean style food, this was a good choice. The menu is posted on a screen and you order prior to sitting down. I ordered the chicken schwarma, my brother ordered a gyro. Both were ordered fully loaded with all the fixings. Food is made fresh to order so it took about 10minutes. Once it arrived at our table I was a happy kid. I found this place by searching restaurants in my general area. The name caught my attention and after a look at their menu, my buddy and I decided on this place for some food to go. Upon entering I noticed how organized and clean the place was. That is a huge plus for me. They have a decent amount of tables and a big screen TV. I ordered a couple Shawarmas one chicken and one beef. I got one with fries and the other with salad. From what I could tell everything was cooked/prepared to order. This review is for 11/27/2024, Thanksgiving Eve, around 6 PM visit. I actually frequent this place every now and then and actually agree with the 5 stars review (food wise). But tonight visit left a bad taste in my head and I didn't realized it until I drove away with the food. When I walked in there was a couple ahead of me so I walked straight to the bathroom. A minutes later, I I heard BANG BANG BANG on the door. I said someone is in here. Than BANG again. When I walked out, I thought it was the man of the couple. Nope, He never went to use the restroom. I realized it was one of the employee who probably thought I was homeless. That was why when I walked out they were surprise. Hey boss man review the security tape and you will see.
