Located in…read morethe heart of downtown Phoenix in the same entertainment complex as Stand Up Live, Chico Malo, and others, parking isn't easy (it is downtown after all). I stopped by on a Sunday around 6:30 p.m. Ambiance (3.5/5): Pretty much your standard fast casual experience. Clean, comfortable, and modern. With two rooms with both tables and booths. I sat at a booth. Service (3.5/5): Service isn't a big part of the experience. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. After that, the service experienc eends. Drinks (3/5): Pretty much your standard assortment of soft drinks. Food (3/5): If the name wasn't a giveaway, Nick The Greek serves Greek food. I had the steak kebab which is a new menu item. The kebab consists of steak, lettuce, fries, paprika, onions, and tzatziki. I made it a combo with fries and a drink. Overall, an average meal. A little on the smaller side when it comes to the portion size too. I've had a bunch of excellent kebabs in my day. The food here is a notch or two below that. Not bad by any means, just average. The meat lacked the seasoning and tenderness that would make it an A+ meal. With that being said, if you're looking for a quick meal downtown, Nick the Greek makes for a decent choice.

Surprised I haven't left a review yet…read more I love gyro and Middle Eastern food! Green corner has been a favorite for a while now. Big fan of the kibbeh and the beef al sham wraps. The Greek fries are money!! This place is consistent in not just the food, but the service. Everyone is so nice. They are pumped with customers all the time and they keep the place clean and running like a well oiled machine. I've tried over half the menu and everything is good no complaints at all. I'll continue to come here and support green corner. Great job everyone!

What led us to Green Corner back in the dark times of early 2020 when most didnt want to enter and…read moreeat in a restaurant.. was the level of cleanliness and care they took to ensure customers felt comfortable eating during that time frame. But sadly for us, we didn't live anywhere near their original location. So imagine our joy when this location opened a few years later. (And more locations are soon to be open) Staff: every visit to Green Corner and the interactions with staff has been impressive. They are so friendly, talkative, happy and will take you through the menu if it's your first time or repeated trip and want to try something new. I can only image they treat their employees well for everyone to be this pleasant. Food: always amazing, always correct when omitting ingredients for allergies. Massive selection of usual Mediterranean dishes and some great great unique choices. Their lamb is incredible, chops are fantastic but a slightly longer wait to cook; definitely worth the wait. Choices are as massive as their servings. And you can get all the protein choices in plates, bowls, salads or on the side for when you are really hungry. Catering: Nearly every visit we see the staff gathering large container of food for Catering. This never seems to slow down service. Last visit we saw a member of staff counting the food inside the plastic domes to ensure the Catering order was complete. Order food, get a number stand and sit back and wait (not long) for delivery to your table. I'll add here that each time the food is delivered, its with a smile and well wishes. The food and portions are fantastic, they turn hummus into an artwork, they really take pride in their food. My favorite us the Green Corner Mixed grill, I was asked how I would like the meat cooked. Never been asked that before, so I said how do you like it...medium which was extremely tasty... as I am one of those who usually like meat well done. Can't finish, just walk over and pick up togo boxes and bags. One thing that always makes me feel that Green Corner is truly good and authentic food is seeing a number of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean families enjoying their food too. Always a good sign that you have selected a good restaurant. They have a nice outdoor patio and very clean interior. If anyone from the company is reading.. please look at North Phoenix by the TSMC chip plant as your next location. This area is growing immensely and sparse on restaurants
