They are ok. I was a little bit disappointed with my Philly cheesesteak because it wasn't shredded meat. They just had a chunk of meat in there when I asked him about it. He said well beef has gone up. So I think he should just raise his price to go along with that, but he seems to like all of his sandwiches to be the same price. So I can't really knock the quality of his food. It just depends which sandwich you purchase. But overall nice clean restaurant nice people. read more

Y'all, this place is a gem! They are close to the office so I gave them a try and this gyro did not disappoint. There was so much meat and flavor and the tzatziki had the best balance of flavor and texture. My friend got the Greek fries with her gyro and those were incredibly well done. Everything was fresh, the service was phenomenal, and the place was so clean and cozy. The menu on the outside and inside are really easy to look at and helps with finding what you want. This is my absolute favorite place to get a delicious gyro! The meat is perfectly seasoned and moist, the seasoned onions are sliced nicely so they don't all fall off with one bite, the tomatoes are cut the same (not diced). I ALWAYS add feta cheese to my gyros. Their tzatziki sauce is some of the best I've had. Plenty of dill and cucumber which gives it a nice fresh flavor to enhance the sandwich. It comes with a small cup of lentil soup which is actually really good and I'm not big into lentil soup. You can always change the lentil soup for fries I think for a small upcharge but I think it pairs nicely with the heavy gyro. I also like to just get their pita bread and dip it in tzatziki for a snack later so get an extra pita and tzatziki sauce! JT Gyros is a must if you're near Greenway and 35th Ave. family owned. I really wanted to love this place as I was referred from one of my favorite restaurants. The food was average, nothing spectacular about the gyro. I ordered several different sandwiches to get a wide range and none of them stood out. The Philly cheese sandwich is remarkably smaller than the gyros. There was really no service. The gentleman said about four words to me total but he wasn't rude just more quiet. The food took about 30 minutes to come out but I had a fairly large order. I drove from pretty far to come here and was left wanting more, but please know that this is a small restaurant run by a family. I'll always try a small business at least once! read more

Went for lunch and was an excellent experience. The gyros was piled high and cooked absolutely perfect, not mushy even had a slight crisp. The tzatziki sauce was excellent, fries were good and the magic soup was amazing. As for the service, they knew it was our first time and Marwan explained some things on the menu and even provided samples. The rest of the family wanted Popeyes and I saw this little gem in the same plaza right behind Popeyes. The door was open and it was empty walking in. There is a big digital menu right when you walk in. There's standard gyros, plates and salads. I went with a chicken salad and side of rice. I paid and waited for my to go order. There was not anyone there while I waited which made me question if it's as good as my fellow Yelpers say. Well, it is!! My food took about 10 minutes or so then I was on my way. The portions were pretty and generous on size. I was also given a little cup of soup which I think was lentil soup? It was SO good. I had something similar when I was in India and it was yummy! I will get a cup of that the next time I come here. The salad was big and everything was fresh. The chicken was so good and the tzatziki was amaze! I definitely love Greek food and this is another great spot to get your Greek fix in the valley. Definitely will not be disappointed when you give it a try!! The food was really good and the portions were normal but definitely filling. The employee was a younger gentleman who went above and beyond with his service. Tried this place on a whim and even though it looks very nondescript from the outside, go ahead and open the door. The place is old but very clean. Counter service with a menu splashed across the counter area. Decided on the Gyro and the Wife had the chicken gyro. She had hers with onion rings (go figure) and I had a side, Greek salad. The food came quickly, less than 10 minutes and it was all made fresh. The gyros were very good. Meat moist and shaved well. There was a full 1.5" filling the pita along with lettuce, tomato wedges and great tzatziki sauce that was creamy and didn't overwhelm the delicate meat. Make no Mistake, the star of this show was the bread. Cooked perfectly with a soft warm center and a slightly crispy outer surface. Possibly the best bread I've ever had. The Wife's chicken was very good; moist and flavorful. Onion rings were very good with a nice crispness without falling apart when you eat them. The Greek salad was okay. Iceberg lettuce with a fe slices of onion, two olives and a porcini pepper with feta cheese crumbled over the top. The dressing was very sour and took away from the salad. Four stars and the fifth was removed for paper plates, cheap napkins, and cheap plastic wear. Please be aware, there is a TV that plays some Kind of singing that will drive you nuts while you eat. JT's is a no frills eatery serving inexpensive Greek food pleasing to the palate. We got here right after hiking so we wanted something healthy-ish for dinner. After looking through the menu I decided on the chicken shawarma salad, half portion. The salad was a generous size for a half portion, filled with romaine lettuce, small feta crumbles, cucumber, tomato, and a pepperoncini. There was a lot of chicken on top of the salad and it came with a side of tzatziki sauce and lentil soup. The salad was crisp, cool, and all the elements went well together. The chicken was well seasoned and I liked the shawarma spices. The lentil soup was excellent. I could just have that soup for dinner and be satisfied! There was a slight mix up with one of our orders but it did get somewhat corrected (Ordered a gyro hummus plate, got a chicken hummus plate instead but then we got extra beef as a side). The owner was very friendly and chatted with us for a little bit. If you're in the area it's a good choice for Greek food. read more
