De luxe plate, lentil soup, and baba ganoush. All was very exceptional.

The food was outstanding and I will returning too much! I was super pleased with the food and the service was great as well.

The food was excellent, the service was warm and attentive, and the owner was incredibly friendly. He mentioned that the current menus are just temporary and that more detailed menus are coming soon. I ordered the kibbeh hameth, and the portion was HUGE, definitely more than I expected. My husband and cousin really enjoyed their meals too (pictured), and we all agreed everything tasted fresh and authentic. We also tried the lahm bi jeen and falafel as appetizers, and both were delicious. It's refreshing to finally have an Iraqi restaurant in town that goes beyond the usual shawarma, gyros, and kabobs that every other place offers. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their tashreeb with quzi next! If you are looking for traditional Iraqi cuisine, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Tried Sindbad tonight with my family and it did not disappoint! We tried a little bit of everything, but as a vegetarian, I was so impressed with the lentil soup and falafel plate! I enjoyed the mango sauce recommended, and the biriyani was the best I've ever had with notes of cinnamon and spice. The owner was also a gracious host. I'm happy to have this great restaurant in the neighborhood and will be back!

After waiting to see this business open a new dot we were thrilled it finally opened. We went yesterday and were greeted warmly. Started with lentil soup, fresh bread and lemons. Excellent. We ordered a chicken swarma plate. A small plate of babaganough, hummus, fresh cucumber and tomato salad and creamy cucumbers. not sure what everything is called but it was delicious. I took one photo and two people ate with plenty to take home. I love this family already. They are new owners and I want them to have success because it's around the corner from where we live, We will be back. They have the same bread makers as Sinbad's on 35th Ave. and Glendale that went under during Covid. Such excellent food and sweet kind people.

The food at Sinbad restaurant is amazing! The portions are huge and delicious! The quality of their ingredients is phenomenal and it feels like a middle eastern homemade food.

Great service and even better food! Thank you to the owners for introducing themselves and making sure we were good any chance they got.

We were in Glendale for spring training and looking for a place for dinner. The menu looked good…read morehere, so we decided to check it out. When we arrived, we were told the wait was one hour and decided to go to the bar to start. BEST DECISION EVER! The absolute best service ever! Marissa and the other bartender (I didn't get her name, but sweet and awesome!) They took such good care of us, we will definitely come back next year. Menu recommendations: the beer battered cheese curds, brownie and creme brûlée deserts. The entrees and drinks we ordered were off a seasonal menu, but I'm sure the regular menu is similarly great. Make sure you get the cheese curds though! Chef's kiss

Disappointed. My husband and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. We came on…read moreSaturday just after 4pm and brought our kids (9,12). Downstairs host was nice, asked if we wanted to eat upstairs or down. We decided upstairs. They just told us to head up and talk with the host. We went up. Someone from the bar did shout hi! There was no host seen. There was a handful of workers chatting at the bar even the downstairs host came up and walked by us to join the group chatting. Upstairs had 2 tables of 6-10 people, a handful of small parties outside. We stood there for 4-5 minutes before someone in a St. Patrick's day outfit running food said someone would be with us shortly. Waited another few minutes before the host emerged from the bathroom and sat us. Both my husband and I waited tables and I bartended before (10 years experience). We have a lot of patience and understanding. We were sat and not immediately greeted but a woman came up and quickly dropped water off. Her body language was dismissive and only said just "dropping off water". I really thought it might have been another host or busser, that was tired of getting mistaken for a sever. I brushed it off. We waited so much longer before our server (happened to be the same girl that dropped off the water) came back to take our drink order. She was cold and didn't make eye contact. She was very short with us. Left to put the drink order in. She did bring the kids their soft drinks, but again with an attitude. It was as if we were ruining her day by coming in. 10 min went by. In that time, we saw her walk by and again avoid eye contact. Not even a "your bar drinks are being made", or "I am just going to run these dishes back and come back to take your order. " A really nice bartender came back and started talking with us about baseball because we were coming from a spring training game. After waiting longer and still no sign our server was going to come back in a timely manner, I told my husband, that I would rather leave now and not let this server ruin our experience. There are plenty of places around that I would rather give my money too and they will treat us better. We left, on our way out we did let a manager know. They did apologized and asked where we were sitting. Two stars for the nice female bartender that was decked out in St. Patrick's day attire upstairs. Rating is strictly for service because we didn't get to try anything. I am willing to give this place another try. I will update my review if we do.

Today is my mom's birthday, so I wanted to take her somewhere for brunch. I've heard good things…read moreabout Hash Kitchen, so I decided to take her here. I'd say it was a good decision. We both loved the food! Since it was a Sunday, I knew it'd be busy. I figured it'd be a good idea to check whether Hash Kitchen offers a way to join the waitlist online. Luckily, they do! I joined ahead of time and we arrived about 30 minutes later. While there were tons of people waiting for a table outside, our table was ready within minutes of us checking in. We were promptly seated and our waitress did not take long to take our order. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be after ordering, but it was surprisingly quick considering how busy they were. We ordered the Boujee Biscuits to share. Those were delicious! It comes with three kinds of butter, but my favorite was the salted caramel one. We also each ordered the Best F#*%ing Birria Hash and shared a stack of the Buttermilk Pancakes. Everything was so good, but I especially loved the Birria Hash. Once we finished eating, I was able to pay by scanning a QR code on our table, which was really convenient. I can truly say we had a great experience.

My husband and I visited Hash Kitchen on Sunday morning right before 11:30 AM. We were able to join…read morethe waitlist online, but their process is a bit different than what we're used to. Even after joining the waitlist, you still have to check in with the hostess upon arrival, and there may still be an additional wait. When we arrived, we were told it would be about a 20-minute wait for a table, or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar, but honestly, we wish we had waited for a table because the bar area felt a bit tight. The bartenders were very nice, but at times it seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed, as we had to wave them down a few times for assistance. One highlight was the live DJ--the music selection was great and really added to the overall atmosphere. For food, we ordered the Basic AF and the chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, the food temperature was disappointing. The waffles were cold, and most of the Basic AF dish was cold as well, except for the eggs. The only item that was warm on my plate was the chicken. This is definitely something that should be improved--breakfast dishes should be served hot and fresh. For drinks, we ordered a Bloody Mary and wanted to add a mini Miller High Life, but they were out of stock, which was disappointing. Instead, we opted for a Corona, which felt overpriced at $7 for a single bottle--especially when it's being used as an add-on. A lower price point would feel more reasonable in that situation. On a positive note, I also ordered the Boozy Bag drink with a watermelon slice, and it was absolutely delicious--definitely a highlight of the visit. The restaurant does offer a good amount of outdoor seating with shade coverings, which is great for avoiding the sun. Inside, especially near the bar, you can hear the music much better, but it's still audible outside depending on where you sit. Our total bill for two came to about $70, so it's something to plan for in terms of pricing. One additional suggestion: we did notice bartenders and staff handling drink garnishes--such as fruit and decorative items like cotton candy--with their bare hands. For hygiene and cleanliness purposes, it would be highly recommended for staff to use gloves or some type of protective covering when preparing drinks, especially since these items go directly into customer beverages. Overall, we enjoy the vibe and energy here, but consistency with food temperature and attentiveness during busy times would really improve the experience. Also, it looks like they offer a rewards program that requires linking a credit card--we're not fully sure how it works, but it might be worth asking about for future visits.
