Good flavor, and different than the ordinary mule. My husband had Makers Mark neat & a Dos Equis with a very cold glass. We moved to a booth, and ordered the smoked wings as an appetizer. They were outstanding! Served with carrots, celery, and 3 sauces on the side...buffalo, ranch, and bbq. It was such a generous serving , but we were determined to finish them. Next, we each ordered the 2 meat platter. I had St. Louis ribs with brisket, Mac and cheese, and the bbq beans. My husband ordered the baby back ribs, brisket, bbq beans, and pecan Cole slaw. We were both served a piece of cornbread which was so good. I also had a smoked Old Fashioned. The presentation was very well done! Finally, to top it off, Audrey brought a piece of chocolate with ice cream for my husband's birthday! Smaller version of the first Bobby-Q restaurant we visited a few weeks ago, but excellent in all aspects. Bobby-Q has become our go-to restaurant for bringing out-of-town visitors and family to dinner for a memorable night. In this case, we planned for 2 family members to visit us -- and three showed up. We had some excellent appetizers -- the nachos are worthy of being served at any restaurant. At the table, we had a variety of orders, including French Dip (3 of us had this); I had the two-meat barbecue (beef rib and chicken); my side dishes (corn, and beans) were very good. I have no idea what our fifth family member had, but they didn't say much until they had nothing to look at other than a clean plate. With our reservation we were seated right away and greeted by our waitress, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, but she was so awesome + helpful with taking our orders and giving her recommendations. Came here for my birthday with a very large group of friends. I loved that Bobby Q's was able to make a reservation ahead of time. The food here is fantastic!!! The drinks are great. The service was beyond wonderful. The restaurant is buzzy with great conversation and laughter heard everywhere. Just an all around positive experience here. The ribs were not my favorite personally, I felt they were a little fatty for my taste but they did fall off the bone. I wanted to be nice and not leave a review but after what I witnessed today I've changed my mind. I've tried Bobby Q a few times and the meat has always been low quality, cold, and dry. The BBQ sauce is cloyingly sweet and anything fried tastes like oil that has been reused for weeks. What made me decide to write this review was witnessing the owner of Bobby Q and two head chefs eating at Little Miss BBQ. They were seated by everyone waiting in line so we could all over hear them. They were loudly talking about how gimmicky Little Miss BBQ is and how the food was "sh*t." It was so rude and despicable that people in line were speechless. I will never visit Bobby Q again and I encourage others to do the same. read more

This was our first time at the Biltmore location but we really enjoyed it. We normally go to the Black Canyon Highway location but wanted something a little more lowkey. We had made a reservation and were sat right away in a nice booth. Our server brought us some warm cornbread while we looked over the menu. I am not usually a cornbread fan because it's usually so dry but this was very soft and buttery. It felt more like a dense cake. We shared the three meat combo with brisket, pulled pork and ribs, with mac and cheese, coleslaw, and fries as the sides. Everything was absolutely delicious! The brisket is my favorite, it just melts in your mouth and the rib meat fell off the bones. The portions were very generous and it was more than plenty to share between the two of us, making the menu option for the "Whole Hog Heaven" had us in awe that it says "the best feast you can share or eat by yourself". EAT BY YOURSELF?! I can't imagine the meat sweats and meat coma that would follow that meal. First time at this location for Thursday pre-concert dinner. Have been dining at Bobby Q's for many years. Never had the steaks before. We both ordered the 14 ounce ribeye medium. I had the baked potato and brussel sprouts. Service and ambience were great. Probably should have ordered the steak rare. It was good and tasty, but not as tender or flavorful as we both had at Texas Roadhouse a few weeks ago. Will definitely be back, however will stick to the barbecue platters, burgers and sandwiches. Better than expected. When I think of BBQ places, I don't think of Phoenix as a BBQ destination; however I was pleasantly surprised by Bobby Q with their extensive menu. Let's start off with the service. Haley was an amazing server. She was friendly introducing us to the menu and recommending a few items for our first time. Additionally providing the complimentary corn bread for appetizer and donuts for dessert. As for what we ordered. Baby back ribs: 3.5/5. The meat was falling off the bone, but in my opinion, it was lacking that charred mesquite flavor that comes from being BBQ. Almost like it was from an instant pot, but the bbq sauce it definitely the star to the meat Beef ribs: 5/5 I sampled this beef rib and definitely would get this next time. What was lacking from the charred flavor in the back baby ribs was found here. Prime rib: 3.8/5, from my sample bite, I thought it was very mediocre. Not bad, not the best as well. Had my mom come into town and we were both hungry. Found Bobby Q was toward my place so stopped in for lunch. The interior is gorgeous and spacious, we were seated quickly. Free cornbread was delicious as was the wet aged top sirloin and baby back ribs. Steak melts in your mouth and 10oz is more then enough. I ordered medium rare, and it came out perfect. Got it with loaded mash and mac n cheese. The prime rib was absolutely perfect and tasted ridiculously good. The sides were superb. The mac n cheese was so cheesy and gooey. Just absolute fire. My friends enjoyed their food, and we recieved excellent service.
