This food truck was located at the Korn, Gojira, and Spirit Box concert at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater this past week. For sides, they were $4 for what appeared to be 8oz cups which seemed a little pricey but if homemade it's worth the price point. Both my cousin and I thought the coleslaw was an odd flavor like there was either red apple or radish in there, but we couldn't quite figure it out. A skip for me if I visit this truck again. As for the potato salad, it was fairly decent though it had large pieces of potato skins which I personally do not care for in my potato salad. Since we didn't get any actual food as I stick to a vegetarian diet mostly, I'll give it a 4 star for the sides. Overall, the service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere is what you make of where a food truck is parked. The condiment/utensils available on the ledge do make it easier for grab-and-go. read more

We used Marcus at Gibson's Smokehouse for our wedding in Strawberry, AZ, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had about 135 guests, and everyone was raving about how good everything tasted. Working with Marcus was super easy from the start. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and he was always accommodating whenever we needed to make changes to the quotes or menu. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely great to work with. He provided the charcuterie boards for our cocktail hour, which were a huge hit, and then served BBQ for dinner. The buffet-style setup worked perfectly, and the line moved quickly. We never ran out of food, and guests kept coming up to us throughout the night to tell us how amazing everything was. They handled all the setup and even brought their trailer on-site, smoking and cooking right there at the venue which was so cool to see and added to the whole experience. On top of all that, Marcus is super affordable, especially considering that the quality of the food is truly exceptional. You get incredible value for what you pay. Happened to stop by today while they were visiting my apartment complex and I am so so so happy I did. I ordered 1pound of brisket. Wow so good. Mouth watering. Smoked BrisketI couldn't even wait until I got home to eat some. Their BBQ sauce is to die for ! When they say Spicy BBQ sauce they mean it. It was full of flavor and spicy enough to get your sinuses going but not so much that it overpowers the Smokey flavor of the meat. They are super friendly and quick with service as well. I'm always down to support local businesses! So when I saw this food truck I had to stop even though I don't eat the meats! The kids were excited cuz according to them "it's not even summer yet!" Tonight Gibson's Smokehouse food truck came to the community of Pueblo El Mirage and they did not disappoint. My husband and I each had The Plate which consisted of smokey brisket, pulled pork, creamy-cheesy Mac & cheese, flavorful coleslaw, the yummiest potato salad and some of the best jalapeño cornbread I've ever had. There was also a side of barbecue sauce that was not too spicy, vinegary or smoky but absolutely perfect. Wow! We were in Tucson for the day and were lucky enough to come across these guys at a local brewery. We had the dry rub chicken wings that were awesome. Big, juicy and delicious. Definitely don't need any sauce on these guys. The brisket is literally like butter, it just melts in your mouth. The pulled pork sliders were great! This place is okay...good flavor. The amount of brisket you get with "the plate" was two small bite size pieces, and a little more pulled pork. They don't trim the brisket so you get 50% fat. Other than the meat everything else is dry with no flavor. So, I don't recommend eating at this food truck. read more

My sister had her wedding and we had booked them a year in advanced and then two months before the wedding added on more food. We signed a contract and paid the $500 deposit. Come to find out after the ceremony, they still haven't showed. We called and was told that they don't have any information. Mark the owner had said sorry ma'am I don't know what to tell you, I will just have to refund you the money. If it were a small party and food can be found somewhere easy then it is what is it. This was a wedding of 100 people and it's not easy to find a place to get us food on the fly. Thanks to Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers they pulled through and got us what we need and for cheaper than the deposit of $500. They don't know how to follow through with contracts, let alone how to spell in professional emails. 100% wouldn't recommend. There is a reason they don't require the rest of the payment until the day of, so they don't have to show up!! read more
