A welcome breath of fresh air! Angie's did not disappoint. I heard about this place recently and decided to check it out when I was nearby for lunch. This is a drive-thru only spot with elevated, delicious and high-quality options. Angie's offers everything from salads, protein bowls, burritos, breakfast items and even lobster rolls. I ordered a protein bowl with steak. I chose broccoli, sweet potato and avocado as my three sides and creamy cilantro for a sauce. You pay where you order and pick up your food around the corner on the ledge. It was divine! Everything was cooked perfectly and it was such a convenient concept. I am so excited to try other options and share this place with everyone I know. Despite the excellent quality, the prices are still incredibly reasonable. Angie's Grill was a new and unique experience because I thought we were gonna go to a restaurant and sit down and eat. If that is what you're looking for you might find yourself to be a little disappointed. This is not that kind of a joint. (no waiters, no waitresses, no tableside service, but no high prices and ridiculous exorbitant tipping expectations either). At first using the GPS, this place was hard to find until I realize we are not looking for a sit down restaurant...it's a drive up and drive-through restaurant, it's basically made for takeout dining exclusively! Don't let that fool you though because the food at this place slaps! Lol! We had a lobster roll, a Mexican salad (served on a large flour tortilla, as a burrito!) as well as the flatbread and chicken quesadillas. They were all excellent (if you're from the East Coast, you might be disappointed by the lobster roll because it's a local interpretation of what a lobster roll would be like ) and they are among our favorite things to pick up when we want to grab food and take it back home.. The prices are very affordable! In a time when you can't touch a meal for less than somewhere between 15 and $20 this place you can feed your whole family for that even their drinks are inexpensive. They actually have a lot of locations sprinkled throughout the greater phoenix area. my experience is that some locations are a little better than others in terms of customer service and efficiency but generally speaking I like the price and I like the food no matter which location I go to but invariably some are better than others. read more

Usually, Angie's is a great value. But this time, at this location, it was pretty mid. The bang for buck just wasn't there with this lobster roll for $19. Fast service per usual but the lobster roll was not so generously portioned so that was disappointing. Might give them another chance, but we typically are not around this area and we usually go to a different location, so maybe it was just this location. I have been coming to this location since it opened. I have slowly noticed that the quality of my food has decreased tremendously. Recently I have been sticking to ordering chicken and shrimp. The chicken has been undercooked several times, I have found the center of the chicken pink, in my last two bowls. And the shrimp is also undercooked, specially in the center. I find it chewy and translucent. By the time I get to the window my order is already outside. I rather wait a couple minutes extra so that my protein is fully cooked. I also understand there are rush hours but I would much rather wait a couple minutes extra for my protein to be fully cooked and with good quality than get salmonella and bad service. Terrible service! The person in the drvethru line ahead of me said he was there for 20 min no movement I backed up and let him out got through the line decent my sandwich chips and guac are minimal. I don't know what happened to this place, but it's really disappointing. Not only has the price of lobster rolls nearly doubled now, but the quality has dropped significantly. I bragged at my office about how delicious the lobster rolls are & such a great value .. and when I decided to pick up lunch for my office the other day, the lobster rolls had so many hard shell particles in them that they were unedible. I went to this location when they were just a food truck and you could only get lobster rolls. Which I loved I went last night to get a Cobb salad because I saw a picture of it on their Facebook page. I got steak instead of chicken. And man it was so good. I've been here before but it was just okay. it has a drive-thru which is good bc i didn't feel like going inside anywhere. Today was super good. You know when you're craving something and you've had a busy week and you finally eat exactly what you wanted? This. Omg. I had a chilled lobster roll meal. The lobster roll was perfection. It was stuffed with lobster, the bread was perfectly toasted and buttered and the fries were nicely done. I'm so stuffed as I write this. Now, I ordered a few items bc obvi I'm not going to go out of my way for just one thing. The mini got a fried shrimp meal (big pieces of fried shrimp with fries and bread) and she loved it. I didn't taste it but I believe her that it was good bc she's picky. I also ordered the fried scallop roll because I wanted to taste it, as well as the warm snow crab roll. The fried scallops were a bit salty for me. Decent flavor but a little much for me. They weren't overdone though, which was good. The warm snow crab roll was very good. I do love that they have great options on the menu for a great price. Food was good and that's the only reason I'd ever go back to this place considering how RUDE the employees are. I wasn't used to having to pay the drive through speaker box.... and not the actual employee. Mind you the man taking my order spoke to me as if I was a nuisance for even considering bothering him to DO HIS JOB. So when I pulled forward I had all of the employees yelling at me on the speaker box to pay at the speaker box. (Which is just a little card reader device I didn't even see). Fine, that's not an issue. The card reader is also sitting out in the hot arizona sun so it wasn't working with my card for some reason. The girl gave me SOO much attitude about having to pay at the window. Handed me my food without a word and slammed the door shut. I had a drink and needed a straw as well. I always say please and thank you and this girl didn't even say a WORD. I tried staying at the window for a minute longer to see if she could give me a straw. She did NOT open the window. I drove away and I don't ever want to come back here considering how genuinely rude and unkind these employees are. It was so good but now they have removed the crab meat, and raised the prices on the lobster rolls, but added these weak ass salads for cheap. Like no no no the 10.99 or 9.99 rolls was the whole allure to this place. Raising the prices for their signature piece and not adding any extra meat or anything is robbery. 15.99 is crazy work for the same product. I am very picky with chicken so ordering salads at fast food restaurants is always dicey. If the chicken is rubbery I can't do it. I usually avoid them. I could eat Salad n Go but the chicken was sparse. I am so happy that Angie's has amazing salads. The chicken is real chicken, seasoned well, and no rubbery fatty chunks. Now I have been quite the fan of Angie's back when it was only a food truck. The portions were always good at a price you can't beat. But I was disappointed when I came to this location to find out meals were not offered (no fries or drinks available). Plus when I received my lobster roll, it was pretty skimpy on the lobster and something was different about the bread. Not the nicely toasted rolls I remember. Overall I guess it's still a decent deal for lobster. But what originally hooked people about Angie's was a quality lobster roll meal at a wonderful $9.99. The same meal at other locations will now run you $15 with a drop in quality and quantity. I hate to see this happen when businesses expand. read more

I had really high hopes for Angies on Peoria and 35th ave - which has been open for several months and does not have its own yelp page. Salad and Go has been declining in quality for years and I really wanted something healthy(er) that I didnt have to break the bank for. I've enjoyed Angies Lobster before, so I figured this would be a godsend. I ordered two different salads on two different days (BBQ chicken and Ceasar I think). Both times I got the salad I found multiple little pieces of broken off plastic in my salad (like the small prongs of a broken plastic fork almost). I waived it off as a QC issue the first time, but I cannot forgive a second time on multi day difference to fix the issue. There are enough microplastics going around to have to deal with macroplastics in my food. Get your Quality Control together, you guys are supposed to be better than this. read more

Working in the food service industry you are in contact with many different personalities and this young lady nailed it! ....now for my correction with the napkin issue I had during my first visit. Super flavorful, very filling, and priced really reasonably for the portion size. The Arnold Palmer was just okay. Have to say i always wanted to try this place and its 9.99$ Lobster Roll meal deal is 13$ comes with fries and drink, but all locations are 8-12 miles from my central Phoenix location. If food decadence was a thing this is it, on a affordable side, i have had a few Lobster Rolls in the Valley some can range between 15-30$, best Lobster Roll i ever had was in Vegas at Lukes Lobster across from the Wynn, growing up in Seattle region living in San Diego, and working in San Francisco this by far was just as good as most and 1/2 the price. Surprised me i wasn't expecting much, not the biggest portions but if you ordered 2 definitely would be filling . They have many options even breakfast (included up to date prices in photos) not much accurate up to date on other reviews. Being this is a drive through only, hard to justify a 5 rating, and the building is a little beat up. i saw this place first in a tik tok and had to try it, i got the truffle butter lobster roll cause ive never had real lobster before and it didn't disappoint, it did come cold but i feel like it would've been better if it came warm at least, the bread reminded me of canes bread so buttery and the right amount of salty, the fries were so thick and yummy with the sauce they came with, the sauce tasted like in n outs sauce, i got the lemonade and it was a perfect balance of sour and sweet, my mom liked her fried shrimp roll too, both combos came out to $23, i can't wait to come back and try more things, they except no cash and the service was nice and friendly and the line at the drive thru was fast, there's no in door eating at this location at least read more

But I am just one person and it's so hard to choose between the one with the herb butter or the fried lobster when I visit.
