I caught a glimpse of the Elote Man truck passing by on Sunday night and I was bummed I had missed him :( i decided that I would have elote so I followed him on Instagram (elotemanaz). Lucky I did because today he posted that he would no longer be in Anthem but in Tempe just up the street from me. SCORE! Bf was pumped about trying elote for the first man but asked seriously "What if I don't like it?" Elote is corn, smothered with Mayo, and sprinkled with cheese. What's not to like?! Bf had the Mexican (#1 seller) and me being the hot Cheetos aficionado that I am, ordered hot Cheeto. Bf very quickly became an elote believer!! As Joyce mentioned in her review, I remember the good ol' days elote was $1.75... ah yes those were the days. Elote will run you $6 on the cob or in a cup. There's just something that hits differently eating it on a cob than in a cup... like having a Mexican Coke and a regular coke... clearly elote on the cob and Mexican Coke are the ways to go! After months of following the Elote Man on Instagram and tiktok I finally found him right down the street from my house. No joke I spent days seeing and watching his location when he would be in the west valley. And usually when he was here I was not. But here we are we made it! He was at 51st & Olive. All thanks to his Instagram stories. You can literally have elote in a cup anyway you want the flavor mixture seems to be endless or on a stick We just did the normal classic. I like you elote, Elote Man AZ. Born and raised in Phoenix, I'm use to my elote being sold by a guy pushing a shopping cart with an ice cooler sitting in it. They were $1.75 back in the day and it was bomb. Ah, memories... Instagram ads work. I saw that they were in the east valley on Saturday and I made sure to eat the smallest dinner possible so I can get some elote afterward. And while I stood there in front of their food truck, torn between the Mexican (#1 best seller with mayonnaise, Cotija cheese, chili powder, Valentina hot sauce, and a lime wedge) and the Cuatro (Doritos, Tostitos, Takis, Cheetos, mayonnaise, Cotija cheese, lime wedge, and creama), the guy in the truck told me I could get two for $10! Recently we attended the Queen Creek Feastivals. We ordered just a simple buttered corn on the cob. It was OK, nothing really to complain about. We just had to wait a little longer since they fell behind and had to cook more. We just like the roasted corn more. Again, we are not complaining. Just was OK. Now, thats not to say everyone else didn't enjoy their menu. Their menu is large, and their were a lot of people waiting in line to order. Let me start out by saying I'm a fan of places that do one thing really well. Elote is their thing. Corn is really the paint to Elote Man's masterpieces. The man was super nice and genuine, even gave us some Mexican candy with our order. I got the Cuatro, which has Takis, hot Cheetos, Doritos, and some other chip that I can't remember. I will definitely be coming back to get it again. I also got to try my boyfriends classic Mexican street corn, which both of us could only describe as "tastes like Mexico" (in a really really good way!). Stopped at the truck in Tempe today. Juan was so nice and so personable! I got the Mexican corn in a cup and other places I've tried are kind of watery and gross and I really was craving a good elote cup so I took a chance! I'm glad I did because I devoured it in my car. It had the right amount of mayo and cotija and the white corn was perfectly cooked. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I went to the grocery store and then almost went back again because it was THAT awesome. I'll be stopping every time I see the Elote Man truck. I can't wait to try the hot Cheetos or the Doritos flavor when I go next and I'll be bringing my fiancé with me! Great to know that they travel all over the valley so I'll be keeping track of where they're at and telling all of my friends about it. Great corn, great people, fast service, it was all great! I would have love to give this place a 5 star review, yet I didnt get what I orderd the lady didnt put the correct topping(hot cheetos) on my elote. When I made her aware, she looked at me with a straight face and said " no its right" even the though the correct topping was a different color Red (hot cheetos) and I got something yellowish/orange. Offered for her to eve taste before I did and she replied " no, no it's right it's hot cheetos". Anyone knows its unique color smell and taste but I got cheddar cheese instead. Taste mediocre. I was exited to try this place for the first time, and sadly I'm disappointed, I got the elote in the cup and it is so dry and salty I can't eat it, my son got hot Cheeto elote and was the same. When I asked for the elote in the cup I was waiting for a Mexican esquite not a dry elote with salty cheese and a lot of mayonnaise. Also the prices are too high. read more

Eloteman is the best you can find. I've never had variations of Elote until a few years ago at the PHX AM skateboard contest. I've been a customer ever since. His team is truly amazing and they are always as happy to see you as you are to see them. Recently Eloteman has been making it to different parts of the valley and even Flagstaff. Came to Pioneer Park to enjoy the cool weather and The amazing food trucks after the hot AZ sun went down. Noticed a fan favorite that roams central Phoenix. Elotes!!!! Ordered the Mexican elote from Elote Man AZ food truck. By far the worst elote I have ever had in AZ. The true elote man that rolls around on a bike in your ghetto neighborhood 10 hours a day serves the very best elote. The elote that comes out of a old ice chest filled with corn on the cob in hot water and no added flavors. Elote Man AZ corn tasted nothing like the man on the bike. Elote Man AZ elote taste like it was smothered in butter which takes the taste of the mayo, chili powder, lime, and Chili. Worst elote I have ever had. 6 dollars for this?!?! I will pass. Would rather wait for the true elote man to roll up in my neighborhood and pay only 2 dollars. read more
