The food is amazing. When you see someone making the tortillas for your order on the spot, it's a pretty good indicator that the food will be bomb! We got the Plato al Chingaso, birria mulitas, birria quesadilla and al pastor tacos. We both agreed that the al pastor was the winner, the birria is delicious! Don't get it twisted, we just thought the pastor was better. Nice clean area to sit and enjoy the food and everyone was very friendly and accommodating even when we showed up a bit before they were ready to open. I loved coming to this hidden gem when I was pregnant, which was a little over a year when I found this pop up, however I went back tonight and was very disappointed. I had the tacos de pastor, asada, tacos dorados de birria con un consomé and a torta de birria con un consomé. Bomb. I'm a coke type of guy so that's what I ordered worst mistake ever. Guys please try the aguas frescas. The orange one is f....n bomb. The only thing I would of liked is that the red salsa and the green salsa were spicier las salsas son para que piquen si no pica no es salsa. This is a cute little food truck in downtown Glendale, with a great outdoor seating area with a covered pergola and nice picnic tables. We tried one of each of their tacos-all with melted cheese-the birria came with broth on the side. I couldn't even pick a favorite they were all made to perfection! They're lightly fried so you get a crispy, but not too crispy, tortilla. The meat was all so fresh and tasty, fresh made (and spicy!) salsas, and agua frescas that we're cool and refreshing on a hot day. My husband, who doesn't normally eat bread, tried the birria torta, used the broth to dip, said it was the best torta he'a ever had! We've had every taco on the west side and this was by far superior! 6 tacos, a torta with fries and two drinks for $21 is a steal and we took leftovers home. They are closed W-Th so plan accordingly! This is a review based on two time experiences ., first a week ago we visit this place (it was only two cars in the parking lot on a Sunday ) the lady at the counter let us know that they have and order of 50 tacos so they couldn't take care of our order and that we could wait 20 to 30 minutes or come back . Ok I understand things like this happened so We visit again today Sunday at 5:10 and it's empty not even the lunch truck and no signs ,no phone number to call to verify . We are done here.
