3 birria tacos and consume
Ricardo N.

Was craving some Mexican food and this place hit the spot. I ordered the 3 birria tacos with a side of consume and a pineapple agua Fresca. The tacos were delicious and flavorful the meat was tender and well seasoned. Over all the food was great! And agua Fresca was really refreshing. The hostess was very kind and informative. I will definitely be coming back here to try out something else of the menu and you should too!

Excellent food! Birria tacos were juicy and flavorful and my husbands loaded birria fries were awesome too! Very good service! On the pricier side but worth it! Definitely recommend! We will go back!

Took like 45 mins to get my food. Cashier kept taking money and going to the back to prep food. They have a sign to be nice to their employees at the cash register. But the owners should be nice to their employees and not understaff. Maybe train them well. Ambiance was bad. Small tight claustrophobic type of ambiance. Place was clean. Rice was good 8/10. Beans were bad 1/10, birria plate doesn't come with sides. So it's not really a plate. No onion or cilantro to go with it also just 1 green sauce. Why? Not a red sauce like birria plates need? No lime/lemon, I hope it was just a bad Saturday. Never again....

Birria Fries

The food is so good, BUT the price has gone up like crazy. 3 Birra fries 54 dollars is insane.. then they charge you to add sour cream and avocado and pico on it .. will have to look at some other Birria place now due to high prices.

Birria ramen. Served with onions, cilantro and limes on the side. Good flavor but too salty for my taste.

This spot is unassuming but the food was amazing! I was greeted immediately when walking in and ordered the rolled taco plate and birria ramen. I was told the wait was 15-20 minutes for a to go order. The wait was indeed about 20 minutes but it was clean and plenty of spots to sit and wait inside. The birria ramen was served with a bag of onions and cilantro and a bag of cut up limes. There was lots of meat and it was a big portion with tons of flavor. It was too salty for my taste personally. The rolled birria tacos though were 100/10! The crisp texture on the outside from the cheese with all the meats inside. Ugh, so good. The beans, I was a bit skeptical at first cause they look like bean soup lol but they were super flavorful and good for dipping the tacos in. Rice was really good as well! Overall, no frills spot to get your cravings met. I'll be back for another rolled taco plate soon!

Birria Pizzadilla

The guy who took our order was super nice, everyone who was in the kitchen even said hi, seemed very family friendly oriented. The watermelon Fresca was top tier (not pictured) but well worth it. The food was bomb. Especially the jalapeño onion mix that comes on the side for tacos The Birria pizzadilla was the best thing I've ever had. Thank you guys for a great experience.

This place had really good reviews of Quesabirria tacos so decided to check them out. It's a small hole in the wall with a few tables. You order at the counter and they bring out your food when it's ready. The cashier told me to let him know if I had any questions about the menu and when I tried to ask him he was staring out into space like he was under some influence. It was very strange as it happened twice. Anyway, when we tried to use our credit card he said they charge a fee. I don't appreciate that as most restaurants never charge that fee and I think that is just part of doing business. Who carries a lot of cash nowadays? There is a sign that they give you a 3 percent discount if you pay with cash but found out that's not true either. They just won't charge you a credit card fee. That's false advertising. Hubby and I ordered 5 Quesabirria tacos to share and waited about 10 minutes. They came with a couple of salsa verde and bags of onions and cilantro and limes. I personally like salsa roja so had to go up to the counter and ask for them. It was actually very spicy. I liked the taste and flavor of their salsa roja much better. I must say the tacos were pretty tasty and came out piping hot. I was very full on a couple of them. The Quesabirria tacos were pretty good but based on the weird service and their credit card fees, probably wouldn't return.

BEST BIRRIA IN PHOENIX, It's so yummy the employees seem like family and we were told the recipe is their mom's. LITERALLY SO GOOD!!!!! The place is cozy and well maintained!!

A quesadilla this is not a bean burrito

Horrible. they do not have lactose free products. i asked for a bean burrito they only have it with cheese. I said fine. It's allllll cheese. If you can't make a bean burrito i don't want to try anything else.

Quesabirria tacos and consommé

Oh my! Oh my! My daughter and I treated ourselves to "somewhere new" and found this gem! Super impressed! We love love love quesabirria tacos and they are absolutely delicious here! An earlier Yelp review of the consommé scared me by saying it wasn't good, and I am not sure what was wrong with that person's tastebuds, but we DRANK ours! It was THAT good! Also, the Pina Mango Agua frescas was FANTASTIC! I'll stop here because now I'm craving more...

What's not to love about this place! The staff is awesome and so is the owner. Recipes are instilled from her mother and so traditional.

Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.

The restaurant was about half-full and bustling brightly indoors and on the deep shaded wrap-around patio. Our server, Branden, was one of the best servers we've ever had! Attentive and polite, even reading off the entire menu and describing highlights to hubs, who'd never been before. We were seated immediately at a booth table and brought complimentary chips and salsa. These are good fresh, thin chips and smoky mild-hot tasty salsa. Branden brought us a second round of chips and salsa as well. We ordered: - Coca-Cola fountain drink - Coke Zero fountain drink - SHORT RIB MACHACA ENCHILADAS 5/5 - Highly recommend - caramelized peppers & onions, yellow cheese, ancho chile sauce, cilantro. Served with sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, rice, & choice of beans. Classic enchilada sauce like how I remember, delicious tender shredded marinated short rib inside. - CARNE ASADA FAJITAS 4/5 (sweet soy salsa verde) served with blistered peppers, charred onions, jack cheese, guacamole, salsa fresca, sour cream, choice of beans & tortillas. Hubs said these were good. He did want rice with his meal so he ended up taking my rice which I didn't want. As you can see in the pics, the tortillas are scratch made in-house as well as the sauces and sides. Bar seating, booth and table, and patio seating available. Upon arriving and being greeted we waited an inordinate amount of time to be seated. Chips and salsa were delivered to a large table but we were never told that was our table. Most of us had blended House Margaritas. They came in a beer glass which also was peculiar, but the Margarita was good. The menu leaned toward seafood, which frankly I wouldn't order here. I chose the Carne Asada dinner which came with the usual beans, rice, cheese, large grilled pepper, etc., and I got flour tortillas with it The meat was quite good and the meal as one would expect in this type of Mexican food restaurant. Portions were large. The service was fine. I wouldn't call it overly friendly. Overall the food was good, typical run of the mill fare, yet overall the experience was nothing special.
