Mole Enchiladas
Tori M.

We had a unconfirmed reservation which made it a bit tricky to get a table right away but we were seated within minutes of our arrival. The menu was a newer menu that was missing some items my family had eaten on a previous occasion, such as the birria, but they still came through with the orders and in a timely fashion. Meals were served within 15/20 mins of ordering and the portions aren't overly large or too small to make you feel hunger soon after eating. Everything tasted wonderful, fresh and flavorful. The restaurant was hopping by the time we left around 6 pm. It's loud with a lot of customers just as a heads up.

Sunday morning after church, there was no wait. The service was a little slow and food was just ok. Very minimalist set up. We sat on the patio. They took our drink order and we started with coffee. The cups were decent size but not much creamer and only a few packets of sugar. We didn't see waitress much. The presentation of the food just didn't add any pizzazz. Overall it was quick for a seat and ok food. The high light was the Oaxacan smoked margarita.

It's a cute place that's bright and has high ceiling and comfy chairs. It's a bit loud. Service was great and food was good. I had the short rib enchiladas and ymmo.

Guacamole and Plantain Chips

Food was delicious and flavorful. I had the plantains with Guacamole. I wish I took a pic before I dug in. Also the De Jalisco Old Fashion was soo good. Sweet and spicy.

Food and drinks = good Service = bad We hadn't been here in quite a while, with all the new restaurant options nearby. The food and drinks were just as good as I remember, but we had really poor service today. We ordered several items off the happy hour menu and thought the chips and salsa/queso would be brought out right away to enjoy with our margaritas, but we kept waiting and waiting ... nope. Everything came out at once and it was brought out by two other people. Our waiter checked on us to see how it looked right after we got it, then he never came back ... not to see if we want another drink, more water, or more chips (which we needed since we still had queso). We had a table of empty dishes and glasses at 5:00 and didn't get our check until 5:20, and that was after flagging him down. And the thing is, it's not a big place, so I don't know why we were ignored. Also, we were charged for salsa, so technically we should have been given another bowl of chips since that price was for "chips and salsa." Very disappointing experience, especially when you're spending a lot of money. Although it's good food we don't plan to go back.

Spicy omelet

Came today for brunch, it was my first time but my bff has been often for dinner. The brunch menu looked amazing, so I was pumped to try it! I went w the churro waffles and my friend went w the spicy omelet. We agreed to split both, and then I started w their summer drink special - agua loca, which was a watermelon tequila drink. The waffles were good but rich, the omelet was delicious, the drink was not great. I had a cucumbrero for my second drink, it was delicious! Service was great, the place is small but really clean. Definitely would go back

We went for a girls dinner last night. Bella was our server & she was spot on! So friendly & nice!!! We had the White Rose Sangria & skinny margs. We order the beef Short ribs, enchiladas (I asked for the salsa verde on side & side of their Oaxaca queso to pour over) It was absolutely delicious! Even the refried beans and rice were delicious. My girlfriend ordered the chicken Tinga enchiladas with salsa Verde, and black bean, also very testy!!!!! I live in North Scottsdale,, but will definitely be making the drive, to Peoria to eat at this place again. Highly recommend!!!!!

This is the best pozole I have ever had. This place should be packed soooo freakin good and great service.

My first time here, my parents have been talking about it for a while they frequently eat here. I really liked the decor, and our waitress was very nice and took good care of us. We ordered esquites, ceviche, and I ordered the Taco Tuesday special. The esquites was good, ceviche taste fresh and delicious. I enjoyed each of my tacos as well as the rice and beans. I would come back.

Flautas. Perfect!

Our friends ordered a wedge salad and we ordered calamari fries. My girlfriend wasn't crazy about the salad but it would be because she doesn't like pork belly. Our husband's loved it. Calamari was very tender and plentiful. I ordered the prime tip skewer with bell pepper and onions. Deliciously tender. My husband ordered the sliced steak that you cook on a 400° stone at your table and it was exceptional. Our friends ordered the meatballs that could be either in a red sauce or a mushroom gravy so they ordered both and my picky friend (her hubby) said one of the best meatballs he has had. The truffle fries were great. High compliments from him all night long. (From the chilled beer glasses that fit his bottle of beer for a perfect poor to the dessert. He was happy!) We ended with a butter cake that had a toasted marshmallow cream and ice cream and their Apple Cobbler. Both enough to share with 4-6 people. (He even praised the ice cream) The above is important but what also made our evening was how fun it was to be playful with our service team. We had Yuri and Krista and oh noooo I forgot to write down our busser's name. He was the best! But really, they all took such good care of us and of course the manager always stops by to check. We will definitely be coming back to happy hour more often, as we all found the dining experience one of the best happy hours around.

We didn't wait long before our waitress came over with a big smile. She was really friendly. My hubby ordered a Guinness with that thick, creamy foam on top. The cutest part was they printed a little leprechaun right on the foam. So cute! I got the Celtic Cucumber and it was really refreshing and delicious. Not too sweet, just light and easy to drink. They also have quite a few cocktails to choose from. We ordered the pretzel, wings, crispy cod sliders, corned beef sliders, Philly cheesesteak fries, and the Shepherd's Pasty. Everything was really tasty and well balanced, nothing too sweet or too salty. Our favorite was definitely the Pasty. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the crust was flaky and so good. This was our first time here and it was such a nice surprise. Cozy spot, good food, good drinks, and friendly service. We'll definitely come back to try more.
